Excellent service! Rita is wonderful. She was very helpful picking out glasses and replaced my lenses in my Maui Jim Sunglasses within hours with RX lenses for a fraction of the cost. The technician used green and gray tints to replicate a similar color in the lenses. Highly recommend to all.

I absolutely love this place. It is a small cozy place, where you get personalized attention...as much time needed. My whole experience from start to finish was exceptional! It's open 24hrs by appointment...which means i literally called about 2 hours ahead on a sunday, just to see if they were really open, and they were, so we set a time for the same day. Very convenient. The owner is an exceptional lady, who carefully took her time to explain everything to me... she was so very nice, and to the next customer as well! Also, I got a great deal on my glasses! I got a free eye exam with glasses that I already needed. Lastly, they have an excellent selection of frames of all prices ranges. I love this place. My savior!!!!! I had an urgent need for a pair of glasses as I had to travel for work on Sunday and stay out of town for the next week. My dog broke my current glasses by accidentally stepping on them. I searched for the quickest way possible to get a pair of glasses from Wednesday but I couldn’t find any. Finally I ordered at Vison express but they said it will take at least till next Monday. I didn’t give up. So I was still searching for other options and I found this shop on Saturday. With no hopes, I called the lady who runs the shop and she asked to come to the shop. She took a look at my prescription and she said she could do it on the same day. Adding to my surprise she did it in about 30 mins. They have huge collection of frames in all budgets and any type of lens like Crystal with anti-glare etc. Their prices are lot cheaper than the big chain stores. On top of it, the lady who owns/runs the shop is very warm, welcoming and always speaks with a smile on her face. The whole experience is a lot better than the usual chain stores where they make a big deal for a pair of glasses. If I could give 10 start I would!!

I needed some replacement pads for my glasses after hours, and I found Eyeglasses Express on Google. Called to check whether they could help, got the owner directly and was told it would be no problem. 20 minutes later, I have a new eyeglasses provider. The owner is warm and friendly, and she is very knowledgeable and helpful. And they have 24 hour availability (very reasonable appointment fee for after hours service). Great people, great shop. You won't be disappointed.

Rita, the owner of the store, is very pleasant and warm person. Very patient with us. My daughter is very picky person on the choosing glasses frame, Rita was completely understanding and very patient. We will come back again because it is very easy and warm business environment. The price is reasonable and service is top notch. Addendum from said daughter: Because Rita has been doing this business for so long, her range of frame selection includes a lot of... dated... frames, some of which are so completely out of style that in the current year they're in style again. Think keywords like "hipster," "vintage," "granny," or "retro" if you like those words. Some are quite unique; this holds the biggest charm for me.

I had a wonderful experience with the optometrist. She was awesome. I had to come in for an emergency because I took my contacts out and then tried to put my old glasses on and couldn’t see. At first I was going to come at 12am then fell asleep putting my son to sleep. I ended up there at 8am and she was still available to work with me. With no prescription coming in the time it took was quick with great pricing. Definitely will be back.

I live every day in a struggle, constantly not knowing where things are and have a constant ring of food around my mouth because I can't find where it is. As soon as I was tested for glasses I could not only see with both of my eyes, I could even look cool and thus increase any non-existant chance I ever had with those of the female gender. Whenever I put on my glasses I feel like klark Kent when he takes them off; superman. Now nobody can call me Billy blind or Billy at all, because that's not even my name. I can now see they weren't even talking to me in the first place, that is how great these glasses are. But for real this is a great eye store. Very friendly and would 11/10 go again if any problems arise.

I just got my eye's examined and my eyeglass prescription filled at the Eyeglasses Express in Vienna VA. The service was simply outstanding and i will definitely be going there again. The Optometrist, Rita Moncayo, embodied all the personalization and personal attention that distinguishes neighborhood stores. She took extra care to make sure my prescription would work for me, adjusting the fine prescription details such as astigmatism and fine focus. She also spent a lot of time working with me to make sure my frames were both quality and flattering. When I picked up the frames she made sure they fit me and that the prescription glasses delivered still met my vision needs. The bigger chain stores are OK, but they don't take care of the personal details that make all the difference. These type of differences are why people go to custom tailors. I'm glad I have a neighborhood Optometrist shop here, especially one with dedicated a qualified staff.

Bought cheap (but sturdy) sports eyeglass from Amazon and finding it very challenging to find stores that could put prescription glasses in it. Went to America's Best but told that the lab would reject it while Pearle Vision mentioned that their lab is in New Jersey and seems unwilling to take up the job. Fast forward a few weeks, by chance saw an add that stated that it has a lab on site and decided to try one last time. Figured that it would be best to go to those having on-site lab. Saw Rita and rest is history. Found out that such a service is commonplace and I should not have a hard time to do so. Help me to tighten up my glasses for free and for good measure recheck my prescription at no cost. Now anxiously waiting for the job to be done and would update the review once received.

Glasses broke this morning, on a snowy sunday. While most other places were closed, this place was open, by appointment. Within an hour of setting the appointment I was greeted and had my eye exam. All within an hour, I had my exam, picked a new pair of glasses and had them made right then and there. Great service, and bonus points for making time on a sunday to create a new pair of glasses.

She also was able to repair glasses that I stepped on and both lenses popped out but the frames were still intact. I cannot say enough about Eyeglass Express. Not only as a business, but as honestly caring people. Over the past few years, my eyesight had deteriorated terribly, and I decided to call Eyeglass Express. I am mainly homebound and have great difficulty getting around (plus I had been going nuts with my eyesight since the computer and reading are my “life”). But the office was near me and I couldn’t miss a chance that states they are available 24/7. I met with Rita and within minutes I was being treated as though I was part of her immediate family. She proceeded to thoroughly examine my eyes and I was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes. Rita immediately recommended and arranged an appointment with an excellent eye surgeon. Long story short, I had surgery on both eyes, and I have been able to see distances (and not trip over things) as if I never had anything wrong since I was young. The other day I returned to Eyeglass Express to have my eyes re-examined for reading glasses. I was treated as though I had not been gone for 4 months. And once again, Rita examined my eyes. Not only did she perform a completely professional examination, but, on the same day, she filled my new prescription, made my glasses – and are you ready for this? – she came later in the day to my home and delivered my new glasses! She had worked around me for the appointment, she found me an excellent eye surgeon, she did not try to sell me glasses that would do nothing for the cataracts and she worked with me with cost as I am on a fixed income. Again, I can’t say enough about my experience with Eyeglass Express and especially Rita. I am not only satisfied, but I feel blessed that I met this wonderful lady.

Been meaning to post this for a while, but went here about a month ago on a little vacation prep emergency: my glasses were broken and I was traveling overseas a few days later. My original glasses sadly ended up being beyond repair, but they helped me choose reasonably priced frames and using my old lenses, I was ready for my trip about 5 minutes later along with a guarantee for $25 replacement in the case that the quality frames were somehow damaged. Peter and Rita were delightfully sincere and helpful— wonderful service! I left feeling ready for my trip and good that I was able to support a local family business in the process (and one that works to donate glasses to those in need too)! Before I left they even gave me a restaurant recommendation, but I would definitely recommend them!

Rita and Peter, have been incredibly accommodating, patient and professional. I needed new eyeglasses in a rush before going on vacation, and none of the chains could accommodate my needs. However, I was lucky to discover Eyeglasses Express and Rita in particular. She was not only very friendly and helpful, but miraculously got eyeglasses with progressive lens having glare resistance, and transitions in only three days. Furthermore, she provided me with temporary lens in an older frame of mine to enable me to function until the new ones arrived, all at a price that was competitive with the chains. I cannot more highly recommend Eyeglasses Express and will use them again.

I’m a returning patient of Dr.Moncoyo; I accidentally broke my glasses on Friday which was very sad I really liked those frames.I went to Dr.Moncoyo on Saturday and was out of her office within an hour with a new pair of frames she really was a life saver; Had I gone some where else I would have had to wait at least a week to get a new frame fitted and that would have been a nightmare since I’m a full time glasses wearer.
