Came here recently because Lens Crafters back in NY wasn't helping me much, and I swear I'm only coming to Chroma from now on out! My gosh did they take great care of me!! I was completely out of contacts and was traveling the next day. Not only did they give me new top of the line contacts which only they had in the entire state of VT, they gave me enough trial pairs (free of charge!) to ensure that I would make it well through my trip and up till our follow up appointment the the next week. Dr. Sudarsky was so nice and friendly and considerate and the front desk people were too. Also, all of the tech they were using in the office was the newest and top of the line. I was very impressed, and I promise you'll be very satisfied if you come here. Chroma is the best!

I only came here for frames, of which their are thousands (okay maybe not but the selection is quite expansive) Jordan helped me, and she is wonderful. She really has an eye for what will flatter the shape of your face. She has a lovely personality, and is extremely patient while you are trying them on. She won't make you feel like you are wasting her time or interrupting her. She won't give you the impression that she has something else more important to be doing, while she is helping you. She wasn't texting on her phone or otherwise occupied or distracted at all. The one time she had to step away, she was very respectful and was back to the task at hand straight away. The whole time she was with me, she was present with me, that's quite a difficult thing to find in todays overscheduled, distracted, zero attention span world we live in now, where good customer service takes a back seat too often. That matters to me, it makes a difference to me if they deserve my business or not, and they do. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

Dora is absolutely the best eye doctor in Vermont and the best I’ve ever had the privilege to see! I’m a dentist, and I have bad dry eyes. Dora was the only eye doc who was able to cure me! A simple regimen of eye care and some special attention and I feel great! Also, Dora has the most up to date technology and she diagnosed me with problematic eye glands- which she was then able to treat same day with state of the art equipment. Every time I come, Dora has updated something and purchased some kind of new equipment to better diagnose and treat her patients. Also, Dora’s staff is exceptional. Jordan was able to help me (very picky) choose the perfect frames and she spent a ton of time with me! Matt is executional, gentle and very skilled in getting all of the tests/info ready for Dora for her thorough exam. As a fellow healthcare provider, I highly recommend Chroma Optics!!!

Chroma Optics is a new and fresh addition to the optometry scene in Vermont. not only is the staff incredibly welcoming, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, but the versatility of the space, and wide range of merchandise makes it so unique. they carry lines that are exclusive to the store, that won't be found anywhere else in the greater Burlington area. Their state of the art technology is the best in the area which is why I wouldn't imagine going anywhere else for my eyecare needs. they fit me with the best pair of glasses that I absolutely love!! would strongly recommend to everyone!

The doctor was great and accpeted my insurance. The selection of glasses is excellent. They have a particularly large collection of petite frames from a number of brands. The staff are excellent in helping people find frames that work for their face, prescription, etc. Several friends asked me their info as soon I mentioned petite frames. This is the place to go for smaller frames if you live anywhere near Burlington, VT.

I went there to get a second opinion on a previous exam elsewhere. Dr. Sudarsky was very careful to only do the portion of the re-exam that I needed in order to save me money because she knew I was paying for this out of pocket. She and her staff figured out the issue and got my new lenses ordered quickly and easily. I have already decided to go back next year for my next exam because she has definitely earned my trust.

It's very hard for me to choose frames. I sort of panic. Dora and the staff are just wonderful, they really listen to what you want and have no problem telling you the truth, as in, "Nooo...those frames don't work. Let's try these." I have received SO many compliments on my new glasses. Went back in to pick out sunglasses and basically turned it over the staff, I couldn't handle the pressure! They made a fine choice, and I am also getting compliments on them. A friend was so impressed with both pair, that he decided to head in soon for a new glasses! It's nice to have a place where they know me, and my eyes!

They really want you to be happy with your glasses and they take great pride in providing the best customer service - finding the right lenses for you (I am a new owner of progressive lenses) and giving honest opinions about frames. I was very anxious about getting progressive lenses and they were so patient with me while I worked through this transition - successfully I might add!
