I am a patient of Dr. Welcome's. As a specialist and surgeon, he has treated my glaucoma for the past 10 years with eye drops, laser procedures, and a very successful trebeculectomy. I have NEVER had a physician that is as knowledgeable, skilled, caring, and trustworthy. NEVER! If anyone reading this has issues with glaucoma, I can say with firm conviction that I would stop at nothing to put my eye health in Dr. Welcome's hands. I am so grateful for him.

I have been a patient at the Jervey Eye Group for 22 years with the last 12 or so being a patient of Dr. Brian Welcome. He has guided, explained, listened, and cared for me all these years as we’ve managed my glaucoma together. I can’t give him enough stars! We have been through the drug therapy, laser surgeries and finally trabeculectomy surgery on both eyes. I’m a stable glaucoma patient at the moment thanks to his skilled hands and knowledge of the disease. Dr. Welcome and his staff are wonderful. I would recommend them highly.

It is the worst place to buy the eyeglasses...customer service was not good and even their representatives do not know their job..they don't know they have mirror for glasses sample available to show customer...customer service is sucks...we have to wait 1/2 hour to pick up my glass...system is sucks...I never experienced such attitude of customer service....even they ask me to take tools and adjust my wife glasses because they can't adjust...I can judge from this service that after sales will be not upto the mark...I will tell every customer not to visit these facility b'coz you will be in trouble if you are there....

The staff at Jervey has been consistently both caring and professional. I’m sad to see Dr Smith retire. He has taken great care of my eyes, always taking time to listen to any concerns. He even helped me when I had bark stuck in my eye after doing yard-work. Jervey sent a doctor to the ER to examine my son in an emergency situation and we were able to follow up in their office later. The staff has helped two of our kids become successful contact lens wearers. Jervey has been a wonderful place for my family’s eye-care!

My one year old son had an eye infection I was referred to this office by my pediatrician. All the doctor did was dilate his eyes asked me what my pediatrician said was wrong and what did she say to do. Then he told me " sounds good, do that." Then they charged me $230.00.

Dr. Johnson is incredible with kids. He's seen my daughter 3 times while age 1. We walk away impressed everytime. What's surprising is how despite the pediatric specialty, the waiting room has ONE toy (several play tables without toys), a fish tank,and a tv with children's programming. Our last visit had at least 10 kids in the waiting area (many siblings), so the lack of toys was very noticeable!

Front desk ladies were so unfriendly. They could at least PRETEND to want to be there. It was my first visit and I sat in the room that they took me back to for 45 min before the doctor came in. He was in and out in like 5 minutes. It was basically like a "looks good, bye". Seemed very robotic. I went that one time and will not be going back. I recommend hiring friendly staff that takes their time with you and that actually seem interested in you.

Called for a new patient appointment - was disconnected. Called back and when I finally spoke to someone she offered no apology. She took all my insurance and contact information before telling me they had no appointments for at least two months. Very unfriendly and unprofessional.

0 Stars. This place lied to me about the cost of my exam. They changed the amount after the appointment and sent me the bill for this change 4 months later! Not only that they tried to cancel and reschedule my appointment - the day of the appointment! While I was at the window to check-in! Told me the doctor had something else come up - I was not happy about it and refused to reschedule so they just picked another doctor. EDIT POST RESPONSE FROM OWNER BELOW: But that isn’t what happened. This was a normal exam like any others that I’ve had in my life from any other optometrist. Even without insurance I have never paid more that $100 or so for a routine eye exam. If there was an anomaly in my exam I was certainly not informed of it but you imply there was one given my bill being altered. Still not informed by the way. Your PC response doesn’t come across as sincere only as a canned CYA response. You could have requested offline contact or inquired about ways to resolve the issue - but you did not. Which implies that you have no intention of resolving the issue and now - neither do I.

Highly commercialized. Service has become progressively poorer. Staff is not very knowledgeable or courteous. Poor customer service. The practice does not recognize the importance of patient autonomy and would rather that you do exactly as the doctor says. Also beware of the intrusive staff.

I do not recommend this office at all. I have had an appointment for over 2 months for a new patient appointment. The eye condition I have is a very serious condition. (Corneal Transplant). The secretary just called me an hour before my appointment to tell me that the doctor had an appointment. They couldn't give me the courtesy to call as soon as they knew of his appointment. This was unacceptable for me. She was not apologetic and I wasn't even given a "this was an emergency for him or anything". I work in medical and I can understand these type of things. She was very nonchalant and rude asking me to just hold on that she had another call and she would have to reschedule me. I asked if I can be seen by another doctor in the office to accommodate me and she point blank said "no". As a new patient referral, you would think they would have been more apologetic.Now, if I had cancelled an hour before my appointment I would have been charged for a cancellation fee. This was so unnecessary and unprofessional. I was very upset but this is not a business I would refer anyone to.

I have attempted to contact Jervey Eye Group for almost 2 weeks now without a response. I used their "Request an appointment" option online 3 separate times and then this morning I called and was on hold for over 8 minutes when someone picked up the line and quickly hung up. I called back again and after being on hold for almost 10 minutes I just hung up and called a different provider to make an appointment. Not a good first impression at all.

I have been a patient of Dr. Brian Welcome for many years and wouldn’t consider seeing anyone else for my glaucoma. He has expertly managed my complicated case through surgery, laser procedures, medication, and routine follow-ups to save my sight. His staff is friendly and responds in a timely manner if I have a question.

Their billing department is full of a bunch of liars. My insurance company sent them a reimbursement check that was supposed to be coming to me, Jervey was paid by my insurance on May 11th I was told to call and speak to Priscilla on the 13th about receiving my reimbursement from them. I called on the 13th and left a message and never received a call back. I've called them over 20 times from that day until now. I have been told it was mailed on the 19th then was told it was cut on the 19th but not mailed until the 27th. It is now the 4th and I still have not received it yet they sent my mother a bill on the 31st and it has already come. I've asked repeatedly if I could just come pick it up and now have been told that the "mysterious check" that was sent out has to be outstanding before they will stop payment and write a new one. I am absolutely disgusted and don't expect to be receiving my check anytime soon. That was my first time ever using them and will be my last. Poor customer service all around. If you go there you better hope they never owe you anything because you WILL not receive it.

I really like Dr Shelley and his staff, they're friendly, direct and I'm usually seen on time. Most recent visit for a coloured contact lenses fitting, they need to be tested in non-coloured trial form, for two weeks, then it takes about a week for the real lenses to be ordered and shipped. I'm not a patient person but they take my insurance (VSP) and apparently no one else keeps prescription coloured lenses in stock either, so I wait.
