I was referred to Schein Ernst Mishra by my optometrist when I decided to get LASIK. I was nervous about messing with something as precious as eyesight, but they made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. During both my consultation and my pre-op, the kind and knowledgable staff made it obvious that this was nothing scary; this was just another day in the office, something beyond routine, that they had done (literally) thousands of times. Ask every single question you have and they will answer it. During the surgery itself, they bend over backwards to help you relax - the Valium helps of course, and the pre-surgery waiting room features a bunch of comfortable chairs and HDTV. Dr. Mishra walked me through every step of the 10 minute surgery, and then bang, it was over. I tried on my old glasses just for kicks and was astonished by how strong the prescription was, and how much I no longer needed it. I had an astigmatism, so it's been a longer healing for me than for others (this is normal). By "longer", I mean that I had to wait 36 hours to drive instead of most people's 12 hours, and my nighttime halos stuck around a little longer. I am now 6 weeks out from surgery and can drive at night just fine, highway or backroads. I would get LASIK from this company again in a heartbeat. My only advice: take their advice!! Use your drops as frequently as they tell you, go to all the follow up appointments, ask every question you have. Your life is about to change for the better.

By the day following the surgery, I was seeing 20/20 in one eye and 20/25 in the other and think it’ll only get better from here. I chose Shein Ernst Mishra Eye for my Lasik procedure and I couldn’t be happier. The clean, organized office and staff never left me waiting for an appointment, like I have in other doctor offices. The staff is so kind and really seem to love their jobs by the way they care about their patients. As for Dr. Ernst he was very professional and went above expectations to create a comfortable atmosphere that left me with no doubts about the before and after Lasik procedure process. If I had to do it over I would choose their service every time. Keep up the great work!

Our younger son went here once after moving here to check up on his amblyopia. We waited for a long time to see the doctor and then had to deal with the rude bedside manner and demeanor of the doctor. We had a follow-up visit the next year and arrived 10 minutes late for an early morning appointment and were told we could not be seen because we were late. Needless to say we will not be returning to this office. Unreasonable, unprofessional, and not caring about their patients. Note to patients: If they make you wait longer than 10 minutes for your appointment, you should not have to pay them. Don't let doctors treat you this way.

I went to Schein Ernst Mishra for LASIK. I had a wonderful experience! The staff was very professional and kind during the process. There was no pain and very little discomfort during the procedure. I just went to my follow up appointment and I have 20/15 vision. Truly amazing! I would recommend Schein Ernst Mishra to anyone looking to get LASIK.

I was extremely pleased with the care I received on 9/19/2018. The staff was organized, professional and thorough. Dr. Mishra could not have been kinder or done a better job. I don't know too many physicians who personally phone their clients the night of surgery to see how they are doing. I would highly recommend this physician and staff to anyone considering surgery.

The staff at Schein Ernst Mishra Eye was very kind, accommodating, supportive, and helpful. The surgery center is very clean. The pre-op exams were thorough. I was well taken care of and every question I had was answered. Dr. Ernst performed my LASIK surgery yesterday and today I have 20/20 vision. I got LASIK at Schein Ernst Mishra one year ago, and I am very happy with the results. I have 20/20 vision now. The whole process was great. The doctors and staff help you prepare and know what to expect. The post surgery care is excellent as well. The thing I enjoy most is not having the hassle of contacts - waking up with clear vision, not having tired eyes after wearing contacts all day, and traveling without worrying about contacts and glasses.

My wife got 2 surgeries ACL and LASIK. I love it they treated her very good and the doctor did really great job. If I said great job it's not enough it very very great job. I really recommend this doctor to others
