Excellent place to go. I have glasses from there and today my son had an appointment. Although he didn't need glasses, these guys really made my 11 year old son feel comfortable about going to the doctors. Even know it was just a eye exam. He gets nervous about Doctor appointments. We worked with a gentleman name Jon. Super nice guy. Overall this place is top notch. Thanks again Modern Eyes. See you in a few years.

A++ I walked in on a whim - just looking - until I was WOWED by the people (especially John) and the HUGE/DIVERSE frame selection and the professionalism. I found myself making an appt for an eye exam and picking out frames. It wasn’t a painful experience - it was a FUN experience. Everyone was willing to help me select frames best suited for ME - yet NO ONE was pushy. And in the end, I have the PERFECT glasses - prescription AND style - and I get compliments everywhere I go. I have gone to Modern Eyes since they moved from the mall. I am so pleased with them and will be getting new glasses again soon and you know where I will be going..........Modern Eyes. I love the selection of frames and I am alone and I love that the people working there will give their opinions to me when trying on new frames. It is not a process I like, but they make it a fun time and are so helpful. I do not see the doctors there because I must go to specialist for the exam, but everything else is done here. If you are on the fence about going there, jump off and get there soon.

This place is just wonderful. It's a happy, positive atmosphere. The people there are so friendly and nice and it was just the best experience in getting new glasses. The eye exam was a totally pleasant experience and the selection of frames was outstanding. They do a good job of helping you find the right frames for your face. I bought two pair and when almost a week later I found I wasn't happy with how one of my pairs felt (the computer glasses) they had me come back and try on more until I found the ones I felt were right. There was no charge for this. Who does this?!! They said they just want me to be happy with my glasses.

Love these guys! My wife and I have purchased our glasses from them for years, first at Park City Center, now in East Pete off Rt. 72. Yesterday, I broke my frames at work right around noon....by 545pm I had a new frame fitted. They honored the warranty and had my particular frame in stock! I wasn't sure what to expect since they didn't participate in my insurance, but the frames were so reasonably priced that I ended up saving money. The entire staff was patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. Very informative without being pushy, and took the time to walk through all the options. Plus, their selection of frames is varied and stylish. I will be recommending them to all my friends. So rare to find such stellar customer service these days.

I love Modern Eyes! Their doctors are great, their customer care is far beyond excellent, and their selection of frames are vast! I ended up being a very high maintenance eye patient and everyone basically bent over backwards to make sure I ended up with products that I love instead of just something I could see with. Because Modern Eyes Optical of Lancaster has the highest online rating and the largest selection of Maui Jim sunglasses, I decided to visit them. My goal was to find a pair of Maui Jim's that were like my Serengeti sunglasses--when I was in my 30's and didn't need a prescription back then. Fast forward...Modern Eyes Optical has far exceeded my expectations. They're like family or, at least, like you'd wish your family was like. I'm now sporting a new pair of prescription Mauis--seeing like I'm a teenager again and playing better golf!

Wow! What an incredible experience. First of all, Heidi and Kristie deserves recognition for her outstanding customer service and for making a new patient feel extra comfortable and welcome. From the moment I scheduled my appointment with Kristie to the payment afterwards, all staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Kristie explained the program ModernEYES provides my current School District. She also explained what I would expect during my appointment with regard to pupil dilation (needing to bring my glasses or they would provide them) and other procedures. Upon arrival Heidi took care of me for the majority of my appointment. She was excellent. Dr. Woodall explained each step of the comprehensive eye exam as we proceeded and also explained the scans she took. She also explained the measurement meant. While I waited for my pupils to reach full dilation, I was offered cold water and coffee. Everyone there was exceptional. I would recommend Modern Eyes to ANYONE looking for an eye doctor in the area!

One more reason to love this place! I bought a pair of glasses last year and had them coated with all sorts of good stuff. I ended up scratching them somehow, called up to see if they were still covered and the person helping me over the phone said, "Yep. I will order you new lenses and call you when they are in." In this day and age it seems like integrity is lacking all over the place; not here! A couple days later I got the call that my lenses were in, went to the store, they popped them in and I walked out a happy customer! Thank you ModernEYES.

One of the ear-pieces of my glasses frame broke just before I had to travel to Europe for work. The people at Modern Eyes were very helpful to me on short notice and spent a good amount of time jerry-rigging an earpiece to my old frame in short order. When I returned from my travels, the new frame that they had ordered for me — at a good price! — had arrived and they were very helpful in making sure the fit was right. I called ModernEYES who said the frame style was too old to get a replacement part but I should come in and they would try to fix them. Awesome selection and great prices,associates & owner are helpful & patient & will do their best to get you what you want for the least amount of money. Better quality frames than Lencrafters,walmart,and other big chains,and you will most likely be able to buy two pairs of glasses for what you pay for one pair at other places,and if u break the frames they will put your lenses in a new frame for $45 total price. I still have yet to find a better eyeglasses store
