Great people and great service...I wouldn't go anywhere else for glasses for my children! When I moved to the area several years ago, I went to Media Eye Works out of convenience. Now I can't imagine going anywhere else. Having three rough and energetic boys, I'm always going back for repairs and adjustments. Lacey and Eileen always greet us with a smile and are so helpful. My boys feel comfortable going up to the desk on their own to tell them what they need repaired. Media Eye Works stands by their glasses.

My wife and I have been clients of Media Eye Works for over 20 years( our son has been a client for over 10 years). I gave a complicated eye stigmatism and they have worked with the optomologist on many occasions to get my trifocals "just right." Lacey and Eileen always put the client first and work with the lense and frame manufacturers to insure that the glasses look great but moore importantly, the lenses are exactly what the client needs and the Doctor prescribed. The Optical Shops frame selection is great for men, women and children. And if they do not have what you feel you need, then they will get it- quickly. The fact that they are located physically with a great optometrist office, insures that the prescription lenses and positioning in the frame, are "just what the Dr. ordered." Finally, Lacey and Eileen work very hard to help you find the "perfect" frames for your face and lifestyle. I went here to get new lenses installed into my existing frames. I expressed my desire for the fastest service they could provide since I rely heavily on these particular glasses for work. I got a call one week later from Jerry telling me that he still hadn’t received my prescription from my eye doctor. AN ENTIRE WEEK HAD PASSED with zero progress. When my new glasses finally arrived, they were missing the replacement temple grips that Jerry was supposed to order. The woman who helped me said she’d order them and so I had to go back again. And of course, when Jerry installed the replacement parts they were black instead of the original blue ones that matched the glasses. When I questioned it, he said that no one but me would notice the difference. There was just no attention to detail in this entire experience. To top it off, the woman who was working in the office told me that she’d give me some “free advice from an RN” about plastic surgery to lift one of my eyelids to make it perfectly match the other eye. You gotta be kidding me. Let’s work on getting my order straight before you try to sell me on cosmetic surgery.

We've gotten our glasses from Media Eye Works for years (kids and adults). They've always been very helpful in making sure we get glasses that are right for us in terms of prescription, style and price. They stand by their glasses and will work with you if something doesn't work well for you (e.g. I didn't have a great transition to bifocals and they had them remade so the prescription was a better fit for me). They have a great selection of reasonably priced glasses and contacts and the customer service is wonderful. Always a good experience.

I was extremely happy with my experience with Media Eye Works and in particular Lacey Mielcarek. They were great helping me find the best pair of glasses. But the real reason I'm giving them 5 stars is because after that, I had a lot of difficulty getting fully reimbursed from my vision insurance. It took about 6 months for me to get fully reimbursed because of problems from my insurance. Lacey must have made 2 dozen phone calls on my behalf over that 6 months. I didn't have to contact them at all, Lacey took care of everything. And in the end, I got fully reimbursed. I would definitely recommend Media Eye Works and Lacey Mielcarek to anyone. Thanks!
