I am very happy with the quality of service my daughter and I received at Riverbend Eyecare. They had a great selection of glasses and we both had very thorough exams. This is definitely my new eye care clinic. I loved the new styles of glasses they had on display, and Dr Ayers was great. His staff was very pleasant too. After being at my California optometrist's office for years, I was pleasantly surprised with the updated eye exam equipment. I called the office on Friday and left a message after hours. On Monday, they returned my call, and we were both seen on Tuesday. What great service!

We have found Dr. Ayres and the staff to be knowledgeable, friendly and professional. When you go in for an appointment, you are taken in promptly. Recently I was out of town and had a problem with my eye. I called and even on a holiday weekend Dr Ayres responded right away and helped.

He doesn’t stop with testing my vision to update my prescription for glasses. He performs further testing of my eyes to evaluate and identify any potential issues with my eye health. I feel that I am in good hands and trust that any age related vision complications will be diagnosed and treated early before the damage can't be corrected. I am a new resident in Bend and made a random selection of Riverbend Eyecare from an online search for optometrists for my annual vision exam. I received much more than I expected from the examination. Additionally, Riverbend Eyecare has an excellent selection of frames and very helpful staff overall but especially their insurance specialist who has access to a variety of insurance providers and could get coverage information quickly.

I had a terrible and very frustrating experience with Riverbend Eye Care. The office manager misquoted my co-pay, wanted to bill me for a service that was 100 percent covered under my insurance, and was rude when I called to correct her about these issues. I wrote a letter to the doctor to tell him why I was switching to another doctor and he called only to defend his staff and didn't bother to address any of the issues that led to my original complaint. He was equally rude and actually said," Well, not many places take your insurance, so good luck with that." I found them to be un-accomodating and unprofessional.
