This office and all the people in it are FANTASTIC! My husband needed new glasses and after meeting Dr Fenton at Stahl vision for my cataract surgery, we knew we had found our new forever eye doctor We had his prescription from Stahl and took it to them to get his new glasses. The woman that assisted us in choosing his frames (Dorothy I believe?) Was great.. She showed us why his noline bifocals weren't as good as they could be because of his existing frames and showed us numerous frames that were all in the $$$range covered by our insurance which would work better for him. When we went to pick up his glasses today we found that Stahl had failed to put his prism prescription so his distance was perfect bit the bifocal was incorrect. Maria was extremely helpful, did more measurements and Dr. Fenton took I'm back, did some tweaking and now it should be great! All of this done simply to get him his best vision possipossible! ! We are so thankful to have met Dr Fenton by chance when I was doing my surgery. We finally have a great doctor Who is knowledgeable, thorough and a staff that's helpful and friendly!

Especially Amy R. who has gone above and beyond to help find the perfect frames and fit. I had my first eye exam in over a decade at this location. The staff was friendly, courteous, and laid back. I was very comfortable during my entire exam, and I had gone in overly anxious about the dilation test. My GP had sent a referral form, they had already faxed it by the time I left.

The office is more than welcoming and accommodating and extremely friendly I’ve never had a bad experience! I’ve been seeing Dr. Fenton since I was 6 Years old I couldn’t recommend a better eye doctor. I’ve never had a visit where he wasn’t in a great mood. They have a great selection of glasses to choose from and the place always looks nice and clean.

I’ve been Dr. Fenton’s patient for over 20 years. I’ve had emergencies and random issues occur with my vision/contacts/and or glasses and they always correct the issue within a few days. Amber is hands down one of the best receptionist I’ve ever dealt with. This coming from a cancer patient with 15+ doctors-so I deal with a lot of receptionist. She even remembers my name when I come in and I don’t expect that whatsoever with their practice as busy as it is. I highly recommend Visionmakers, I wouldn’t be coming back year after year if I didn’t think they were great.

VisionMakers is THE best place to go for all of your eye care needs. Stacey and Amber at the front counter are both SO nice, SO friendly and SO helpful!!! They are always so pleasant when they answer the phones and always smiling when I come in for my appointments. Laurie was SO great too when I came to pickup my glasses, she was very nice, very helpful and efficient. The wait time is never long either which is a bonus! I would highly recommend VisionMakers to anyone that I know!

I have been a patient at Vision Makers for over 20 years. I have never once had a bad experience or left without feeling that I was taking special care of as an individual. When I came to Vision Makers I was having problems with getting any kind of correct vision in my contacts but walked out after seeing Dr. Fenton with a pair of contacts and perfect vision. Today he is still taking this as good of care of me as he did then. Betty was the lady that help me today in ordering my glasses and treated me with upmost respect and was full of humor. The Doctors are very good (5 stars) - but the office staff (1 star) is not. Reference to the visionmakers in Kettering Ohio. The appointment staff may ask which doctor - but then schedule you with whom ever has openings and not the eye doctor you want to see - and they don't mention the doctors name for the appointment - I will definitely ask and demand MY doctor from now on for appointments for exams. The staff that helps with your glasses-measurement, etc - they make customers wait a very long time while they actually chat with the customer at their table - chit chat (talking about the family, etc) for 20 minutes at a time....not concerning the glasses at all. And the glass fitters are completely incompetent. I will never use Vision Makers to make my glasses again. Ever., I will request my prescription, thank the doctor and leave.

Last week my daughter’s teacher called me because my daughter had been complaining that she had blurred vision and a severe headache. She was concerned that my daughter who is 8 was suffering from some sort of vision issues. I called the office and Stacy at the front desk advised I should have her seen, she offered a same day appointment since I was so concerned. In the past she had been seen by Dr. Fenton, whom both my children absolutely adored. The Lady with long dark hair was very friendly and attentive when we checked in, they let me know she would see Dr. Mercado this visit. We were seen quickly and he advised that she should see a specialist and offered a referral. The receptionist, Amber even reached out after the appointment to help us set up her appointment.

Being a new patient plus my kids I was tooking by surprise when It took 1 month to get eye glasses back! Not happy with that service! I had to keep calling asking about my eyeglasses and the kids which made me upset because every time I did call they seemed irritated that I was calling every couple weeks to check if they were in. They blame it on my insurance but when I called the insurance company they said it was shipped to them weeks ago. Not happy!!!!

Great place! I'm glad I found it. I was in need of a new eye doctor and looked online for a place with good reviews. There is a reason! I didn't have to wait too long, and the doctor and staff were friendly. They call you by your name - nice touch. The office is nice and bright. Dr. Fenton is the best! He was very cheerful and helpful. I have to say, it's the first time I have ever liked my eye doctor, and I've gone to them for 15+ years. Thanks, VisionMakers! I look forward to my next visit. (The only downside.. I wish there was a little more selection with the glasses) O - H!

My girls and I have been going to Vision Makers for over 10yrs... we have never had a bad experience. I always recommend them if I see someone needs a eye exam.. the front desk ladies are amazing, always so polite, helps us with what we need, and has always gone up and beyond for their Patients.. the Optometrist’s are amazing... I have seen them all and I don’t mind who we see because we have never had a problem when we seen them.. the opticians are always so friendly and help us with whatever we need.. always have answered any questions I have had and if they didn’t know they made sure to find out.. The manager is so sweet and will help you with anything you need.. I want to thank you all for being so amazing to my family and always helping us!! I will recommend you all to anyone!!! Your the best :)

I have been seeing Dr. Fenton for a long time, he is always upbeat and happy and makes you feel as if you are his only patient when he is with you. The customer service by the rest of the office is fantastic, every time I have had any issue no matter how small they are super accommodating and take care of it right away. As long as they are open and Dr. Fenton is practicing, they will be my eyecare for life.
