My wife and I recently got our yearly eye exam and glasses from Optic Nerve. The exam felt rushed. The sales staff used high preasure tactics and didn't inform us very well about our options and cost. We ended up buying glasses that day and then finding out that we were over charged. My wife's glasses ended up costing double what they should have with our insurance and my glasses were 60 dollars more than they should have been.

People, who work there, can not keep their own words. First time they made my sunglasses wrong. Second time my sunglasses were not made at all as they promise. Three weeks passed and all what it was just wasting my time. Not reliable company.

If there is one word to describe the service at Optic Nerve, I would put it as - Exceptional. Both Courtney and Chris were truly customer oriented, knew what they were talking about, their professionalism comes right through. I was there earlier this week getting my prescription sunglasses. What would normally take at least two weeks for a custom order, I couldn't believe that these two pulled it off in two days. Excellent work and great customer service. Thanks Courtney and Chris. A job well done.

The doctor does more than what is asked so that he can charge patients more. I was passing by, thought I'd pop in for an eye exam since I needed new glasses. Doc also did a contacts exam despite me specifically saying I only need an eye glass exam (I didn't realize providing customers with free contact samples was a contact exam, I just thought it's a way to encourage patients to buy from them), and charged me more. I gave two stars for the glasses I got because it arrived one week late and they didn't even bother to let me know it was late...I had to call a few times to figure out what was going on with my glasses. I don't recommend this place, there are other doctors and office staff that have a more customer service and ethical practice. I ended up paying for the whole thing and when I went back to say I'd been thinking about it and want a refund for the contacts exam since I didn't need it, I was told they can't refund without the doctor and store manager. I was told the store manager would call me once he was back in two days later...it's been close to two weeks and I still haven't received a call back.

We have been using Optic Nerve for several years for our entire family. My teenager loves all the Oakley products and the amazing service received on Oakley products. Chris is great at helping us pick out glasses. He provides the best service. :) Overall, great products, current trends/styles, great customer service.

This place is expensive. I came here because it was under the network ok VSP, but walmart and American eye center were much more cheaper than here with similar frames and lens types. Also, horrible customer service. Too much attitude.

I found a pair of Ernest Hemingway frames at Optic Nerve and Chris, the manager, quoted me $250 for the frames and lenses (which, by the way, I found for $39 online). Returned the same day and spoke to Audrey, she quoted me $200. Why the price difference? Audrey was going to order me the frames in a different color and told me they would arrive in a few days. I called repeatedly to see if my frames were in, but no one ever answered or returned my call. Optic Nerve only seems to be interested in selling to you once your in the store to make a fast buck.

Fast easy scheduling with plenty of appointments available. Excellent Eye Care by the doctors. Fantastic staff. Always a great experience. Highly recommend them!

Initial greeting was quite rude. I was told there wasn't an appointment available for several weeks and the tone suggested I was dumb for even asking. During scheduling that tone never left. The appointment appointment itself was fantastic however and the Dr. was very kind, professional and patient. Perhaps it's just my tastes but I found the selection wanting.

Our family has been coming here since it opened. Exceptional service, wonderful selection. I always get compliments on my frames. No where else in C'bus is there such a great selection of frames, but more importantly, they take the time to fit them correctly so my progressive lenses work really, really well. Dr. Neader is great!

I’ve been very patient with Optic Nerve. I ordered 3 designer prescription frames/glasses/sunglasses in AUGUST 2018 and my order has yet been satisfied as of APRIL 28th 2019. Every time I’ve called the location I always have to leave a voicemail message for contact. I’ve been a customer with Optic Nerve for more than 5 years+. This experience alone will surely deter my family and I & any future recommendations. I’ve been going back and forth with Optic Nerve for an ridiculous amount of time now. I’ve made many trips to this store to leave disappointed. Most recently I went to pick up my sunglasses and the right lens was inverted and I could not see a thing. This was a clear error that anyone could have seen prior to me coming out and having to question my own vision/prescription. I do not think morally ordering prescription glasses that are in stock should take 8-9 months. I have not kept informed on the status of my glasses being completed. I’m overall very disheartened and I do not understand why the service has deteriorated so much over the years. I hope no one will have to go through this experience and feel like I do. I hope this review brings full awareness of my experience and will inform others of Optic Nerve and their business practices with true neglect for customer service.

The optometrists are wonderful. The staff who work at the desk are extremely unorganized and utterly terrible. I can’t describe how many errors they have made since I have been with Optic Nerve for the past 2 years. I will be going to a new optometrist after my recent hundredth terrible experience with them.

When I first stopped in to this store, I couldn't look at the frames I wanted to try on because an employee had taken the key to the case home. The higher-end frame selection was good, and my insurance was accepted (and was not at Lens Crafters), so I decided it was worth a trip back. The ordering process was easy, and the frames came in quickly. When I picked up my Chanel frames, I was given a "Chloe" case. When I realized that I had the wrong case, I called and was told that I should have been given a Chanel case. I made another trip back to exchange the case for the much nicer case with a box and dust cover. No one offered a simple apology for the error/ resulting inconvenience, and I did wonder if it was an unintentional error given that the Chanel case is more valuable. Based on my experience, I wouldn't necessarily steer people away, but I would recommend diligence to ensure you get what you pay for, and don't expect friendly service here.

Brittany, Chris and Curtis are the best and we love working with one of them every year.
