This was my first visit to Eye-Mart in Springfield and I was very surprised at how efficient and courteous everyone there was to me. The Doctor who examined my eyes was very thorough and explained each part of the examination to me has he was doing them. Before I was called in to see the Doctor, the young man who gave me the pre-exam was also very courteous to me. Those who did the final fitting for my new bifocals did a great job in explaining to me the bifocals because I have never had to wear bifocals in the past. My new glasses were ready in the 2 hour time line which they gave me and three hours after I initially arrived at Eye-Mart I was walking out the door with new and very fashionable eyeglasses. I estimate that I saved at least $300.00 by choosing Eye-Mart over the previous office where I received my last pair of glasses. No complaints at all!

Was the it's one to show up and fill out paperwork and literally everyone else went before I did. Workers seemed too full of themselves and judgmental which made my long wait very uncomfortable

Usually get hung up on at least twice when calling. Ordered contacts and 7 days later I called only to find out they were on back order. I consider that horrible customer service! I hope it gets better because I prefer eye mart over any other eye place!

I will start by saying...I'm extremely big on reading reviews before going into a place! With That being said, all the EYE MART locations nearest me were rated poorly. I knew I'd need to spend quite some time in whatever optical I chose to service me. So I began to call Eye Mart locations (even the poorly rated ones, because it's Easter weekend and I thought I should stay close to home) anyway the locations I spoke with in my area were hit or miss some were ok and others didn't seem thrilled to be there on a Friday. Ha! I decided to try the Springfield, Ohio location (54min away) and to my surprise the gentleman on the other end of the phone had a genuine caring, upbeat and friendly spirit...he gave me the best customer experience over the phone and in person! Everything was wonderful, he even gave me directions to an attraction nearby that my family and I went to visit as I waited for my 1st pair of glasses to be done. ✅My glasses were made on time *SAME DAY* and the Optometrist was very thorough during my exam also. ( this new prescription is spot on) I was a long time customer of Sears optical but EYE MART is now my opitical of choice. YOU ALL DESERVE THIS 5 star ⭐️ rating!

I read the reviews and almost did not go to Eyemart. However, because they are local and accepted my insurance I decided to try them anyway. I had a very good exoerience there. My glasses are really great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Maybe the staff has changed since the bad reviews. I would tell anyone to give them a try!

Early September of 2016 I took my personal frames to get Crizal lenses. At a price of nearly $300 I assumed quality of service and product. What I got first was a defective lens which had to be reordered. After waiting five days for one lens, I called to check the status. I was told by the employee that my lens was not in and it would be another week. Frustrated with the lack of customer service I called corporate and spoke with the regional manager Mike. Twenty minutes later lo and behold my lens was indeed at the store. Thanks Mike. Fast forward to August 24 this year, my lenses are scratched up from normal everyday wear. Covered by the warranty I returned to the Springfield location to have replacements ordered. I was told by staff that my lenses would be in about a few days. Called Tuesday to check and was told by staff that my initial time frame was fabricated and it would be at least 2 more weeks. Furious with the explanation I called another store to confirm the two week time frame and was told that information was shady at best. Again regional manager Mike took my call and lo and behold my lenses will be in within the next two days. I want to thank Mike for meeting my concerns, but I urge the Springfield Eye Mart manager and staff to recognized that we as consumers have the right to be told the truth and deserve the respect of everyone within this location. Furthermore, our time is valuable too and with lack luster customer service I will never step into the Springfield Eye Mart ever again!

Whole family went here, good service was intermittent. Only kept going because it was convenient. A few months ago Doc and staff downright rude. Do yourself a favor and go to Dr. Penny at Shawnee optical. You will have to wait for an appointment and your glasses will not be done in one hour. But you will get a good exam and service. And I was not paid to say that it's just the truth.

Dr. Wheeler is awesome one of the best eye doctors I've ever seen. He's so knowlegeable & helpful & delightfully funny. The staff was wonderful. I would recommend everyone to go here.

I'll have to be completely honest..... I'll won't go anywhere else to get my glasses again. I went to Eye Mart with a relative and they purchased new lenses. I had purchased 2 sets of glasses there a couple of years ago and wanted to check new frames out .The employee who waited on us was spectacular and courteous and friendly. She was extremely confident and knew her product. I'm not exaggerating either she was wonderful.I could go on and on with compliments but won't......Lo... The rest of the staff was nice too because I can't forget about them. Oh yeah the prices were great and selection was marvelous. Great job to everyone at Eyemart but especially to the employee that was so kind to us.

I recently moved to the area and needed an eye exam. Called Eye-Mart and the person on the phone was friendly and set me up with an appointment convenient to my schedule. On the day of the exam, I arrived and was immediately greeted and processed in for the exam. Kerri Jones was friendly, patient, and did a thorough exam. I then went out to the store to pick frames and was helped by Kyle. Kyle was very friendly and patient with me as I went through the choices the store had. He also went out of his way to look through the frames that weren't displayed in order to give me as many choices as possible. While it may seem like their choices are limited I didn't feel their selection was any less than other frame stores. Some style flexibility is always needed when shopping for frames. Once I selected my frames and lens options, Kyle was able to efficiently give me my final price based on my insurance coverage. To make things even better, my particular prescription was already in stock and only required the lens to be fitted into the frames. While they may not have your particular prescription in stock, mine took about an hour to complete and I was all set. I would recommend Eye-Mart for your eyeglass needs.

Had 3pm appointment was almost 4:30 before I got see the doctor. Then asked if I wanted wait another hour and half for my glass. Next time will go another location.

I just bought a pair of prescription glasses; no-line bifocals. The office staff is friendly and nice. They accepted the VSP insurance as well. They sold me Crizal lenses saying that they provide protection against glare, scratches, smudges, dust, water, and UV light. Its fine, but they did not tell me that the actual lens that provides vision-correction is very limited and narrow. Now that I received the glasses and tried to use them for driving, I feel I have a narrow tunnel vision. I drove around for a few minutes and went back to Eyemart and explained the problem. The manager and the technician told me to get used to it. They were very rude and I have no confidence in their abilities. I have been using no-line bifocals for a long time, I never had this problem. Eyemart did not get my glasses right. I think they are Okay for some run of the mill glasses, but not for any specialty glasses. They did not tell me all the limitations and they know they made mistakes with my glasses.

Put the lenses in the wrong frame. Wanted me to return their mistake an b blind y they make the new lenses. Definitely not letting them touch a pair of my glasses again. Really glad I got the exam somewhere else manager is rude. Wish I read the reviewed before we went. They r on par. Will definitely be filing a complaint with the bbb an the attorney general. At this point only a full refund an keep the lenses we made a mistake on would ever make me consider shopping with them again. so the corporate office contacted me and made this right. they let me go to beavercreek and they were night and day the staff was so friendly and the manager was amazing.

Took my fiancé to get a new pair of frames, and they broke not even a week later and all they wanted to do was give us half off a new pair of frames. Asked for my money back and they said no. Not pleased at all.

First time customer. I went and got my eyes examined , picked out a set of frames and ordered lenses and frames. I order the best that I could get for my lenses. I even got the wider no line bifocals which are suppose to go across 3/4 of the bottom of the lens About ten days later I got a text and email telling me my glasses had arrived. So I went and picked them up and wore them for 3 days. My eyes have been watering the whole time that I have been wearing them. My bifocals only go across 35% of the bottom of my lenses, not the 75% that I was told. I have been wearing glasses for 40 years. Never had a problem with my eyes watering like this before. I took my glasses on day 4 back to Eye Mart with not much help at all. Basically was told I got what I paid for. False advertisement on the bifocals which I paid extra for and still no real reason for my eyes watering constantly. At least you could have offered to reimburse me for the extra cost of the bifocals. My total bill for my glasses was $578.34. That a lot of money just to make your eyes water all the time and get standard no line bifocal"s. Not a happy customer and I will not be back. I guess my next call will be to the district manager.

I came to this store with my elderly mother's glasses, which were battered and possibly beyond repair. Theresa worked on them for several minutes, found a way to repair them, and I was on my way in 10 minutes. She also changed the nose pads and gave me a case for the glasses. There was no charge. This is the kind of service that encourages customers to return!
