Between the Breckenridge and Moorhead stores, I've been a customer at Midwest Vision Center since I was 8 years old --> 35 years! When I moved up to Moorhead, Dr. Connelly and his crew have been incredibly thorough in keeping up with my ever-changing eyes. This last year they worked with me through FOUR follow-up visits (no extra charge) to find out what happened to my left eye, and were able to correct it to 20-20 once again via both contacts and glasses. Just amazing. MWV offers the best price for the quality they provide. They have a process -- and if you follow it -- you'll get great lifelong service at a fabulous price.

I have great experiences with Midwest Vision in Moorhead. Last year my sight wasn’t as good as we hoped so they continued to have me come in and check them every couple of weeks at no extra charge until they were 20/20. The front desk staff was helpful in choosing frames and the right lenses!

I had a good eye examination. The doctor did a good job checking my eyes.

When I tried to order contacts online from Walgreens they denied the prescription when Walgreens called for verification. This is literally against the law because I have the immediate right to my prescription once it's written and I have the right to buy contacts or glasses from anywhere. I tried again with 1 800 Contacts but this time sent them a picture of my prescription and they took that as verification. This place is clearly operated unethically and unlawfully. I most definitely will not be back.

I brought my foster children here as they were one of the few sites that accepted the insurance. The sales staff was incredibly rude and demeaning. I gave them the benefit of doubt as everybody can have a bad day. On our third visit I told my foster child we were leaving and to never accept being treated like they had just been treated and only people that are unhappy with themselves treat others that poorly. Shame on the staff for the rude and condescending remarks. I pay for and will continue to pay for my foster children's glasses out of my own pocket rather than step one foot back in that store ever again!

I should have known better than to go back to this unorganized, unprofessional, rude place. Last time they tried giving me scratched up frames claiming that they were new, and got upset and rude when I took pictures and called them on it. This time they are trying to argue over insurance papers and refuse to take any of my paperwork from my doctor. This is not for them to decide, they need to submit to insurance and let them decide what is covered. I talked with my insurance and they said the paperwork was fine. Midwest vision center, Moorhead are liars. Besides that, the women in that place really smell bad like cigarette smoke. Getting measured for my glasses, the woman's hands smelled so bad, I about puked! If you want your glasses properly made and with any good service, DO NOT GO HERE! DO NOT GO HERE! BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE!

Awesome service! I love my new glasses, they are working perfectly for me! I didn’t really know what I needed in a pair of glasses, but thankfully the optician who assisted me this time, Tawny, welcomed me in and asked intuitive questions in order to help me find me a pair that fit my lifestyle, block blue light, feel comfortable, and look good with my prescription. Dr. Connelly is top notch, he made the exam comfortable, timely, and my new prescription seems to give me the sharp, detailed vision of an eagle. In my experiences Dr. Connelly and the staff have been knowledgeable and genuinely welcoming. That’s why I’m going to be a repeat customer at Midwest Vision Center in Moorhead.

I thought they were rude the first time I went in, but gave the benefit of the doubt. Second time I went in was the same. I don't feel I got the correct prescription for my contacts and asked if I could have them rechecked. She said I might have schedule another exam to have them checked. Won't be going back.

Seth Keene

The staff was polite and quick! Tawny was a whiz with my glasses!

Thomas Crane

The staff was friendly and knew exactly what I need in a pair glasses. Very helpful.

I tried to buy contacts from them, but since my last exam was 17 months earlier they told me my prescription expired. I happen to know that Minnesota Statute 145.712 Subd. 2 requires a minimum expiration of 2 years from the date of exam for contact lenses. Twice I pointed this out to them. The first time I was told that the law only applied to glasses. The second time I was prepared to show them the law and was told it is "at the doctor's discretion". That is partially true, but only applies if there is a concern about the individual's optical health. That is not my case, but I was told by staff that the concern is "that I wear contacts", they do a 1 year expiration for all contact wearing patients. Luckily, since this really isn't legal, I was able to get my lenses from a national group that contacted their office on my behalf. I'm done spending money with Midwest Vision Center.

Never again. No knowledge on pricing, no product knowledge .....all I wanted was a pair of prescription safety glasses and they could only tell me what my company paid for..couldn't quote me a cost for upgrades..

Called...helpful and polite.

Got prescription for glasses filled from another optometrist than Midwest Vision. Good suggestions on type of glasses and grand care on fitting when glasses arrived. Appreciate attachable sunglasses. Both prescription and sunglasses seem to give good correction.

The people here are very nice and always helpful.

The first time I ever went their the ladies were kind. Every Visit or conversation I have had with them since has been rude, short or snooty in some way. The DR is so kind and nice. If i could have dealt with him for everything else I would have stayed. But, unfortunately that is not the case. This year, I have begun care through another facility, because even getting my prescription for my glasses through these women (one specifically who has been there over the years) was argumentative and awful.
