NEW PATIENTS BEWARE! I recently moved and needed to find a new eye doctor. I scheduled an appointment at Midwest Vision in Fargo because of a recommendation from my previous eye doctor. Rearranged my whole schedule to fit this appointment in as I'm a working professional. Due to a mistake I was running 5-10 minutes behind schedule. I called ahead to inform them of this before my appointment time as a courtesy. I was told that the doctors schedule was so full that they could not accommodate me and I would have to reschedule on a different day. It was a 3 week wait to see this doctor and she doesn't work Fridays. It's my fault for being late but really not a nice way to treat a new patient. It could happen to anyone.
I addition to the previous, I was told by the Midwest office assistant that it was my responsibility to get all my records from my previous eye care center to them. She even gave me the fax number for where to send them. When I called my former eye doctors office, they said that Midwest should have taken care of record transfer for me and they had not heard of any other eye care facility asking a patient to transfer their own records before.
This eye doctor may be very good at what she does but I was so soured by these experiences I would not recommend this business to anyone.
