No one likes going to any kind of doctor let's be real. But when I have my eye appointment at Vision Center of Lake Norman I look forward to going. I drive 30 minutes just because I do not want to go anywhere else. The staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend Vision Center of Lake Norman.

To start off, they set a appointment up the day after I called. Big deal right there. The people at the front desk helped me through all the paperwork, which wasn't too much. The doctor saw me right away, no sitting forever. He told me everything going on with my eyes and when I didn't understand something he described it in a way i could understand. Everyone there helped me with picking out glasses and all gave their honest opinions, which made me feel confident with my final choice. All in all it was a calm, clean, and professional atmosphere. I would recommend vision center of lake Norman to everyone. I'm from out of state and it couldn't of been a better experience!

This place is just frustrating. Everyone is nice don't get me wrong but it's been 30+ business days and they won't call me or get my glasses ready.. they broke them the first time and now here I am still waiting for my pair and they still aren't ready , even when they keep telling me it will be ready on a certain day it's not. They blame it on the labs over and over again.. and I don't understand what's so hard? Last I spoke with them they said they were putting on my last coat to protect the glasses. Now, they said it was trouble with the lab again. Honestly I don't think I will come back here again.

Great experience! The staff was very accommodating. I agreed to go out of town for work last minute and had to change my appointment, they were very kind and gave me a new appointment. Well at the very very last minute plans changed again and I did not have to go out of town!! And I needed new contacts last month so I called them up again. Again they were so sweet. Always a good experience at Vision Center. Dr. Monson, is flexible, and actually really chill. He even brings his dog to work, what’s cooler than getting to pet a dog while you wait a brief time to see a doctor?? I’ll give you an answer nothing. If you need a quick adjustment to your glasses, whether it be screws loose, or the glasses don’t fit right, they’ll adjust them till they fit perfectly. The staff are as friendly as the dog there is furry. When I go in “to adjust my glasses” I’m really there for the dog, 5 stars

Best vision center I have ever been to! I moved here from NY and everyone in the office is so sweet and friendly. I had lasik surgery last year and was mainly there to make sure my sight was good and I didn;t need any corrective surgeries. I went for my initial appointment this morning and couldn't be more pleased with the service there. From the moment I came in the door I was immediately impressed with the spaciousness and cleanliness of the space. To top it off, the staff was very friendly and informative regarding the entire process. Dr. Monson took his time to explain what was happening with my vision, and was very easy to talk to! Finally, Sally provided honest (and at times hilarious) feedback regarding the frames I was looking at, which I greatly appreciated. I was scheduled for my regular eye exam and felt at ease through the whole process - and learned a lot!! Dr. Monson took the time to ensure I understood the current condition of my eyes and provided thorough answers to my (many) questions. His staff offered some fun frame suggestions to consider if/ when I decide to go forward with glasses, or attempt contacts. I highly recommend this office to anyone and everyone! Being new to the area we needed to find a new eye doctor. Dr. Monson was recommended by several of my neighbors. From my first phone call to set up the appointment to leaving the office, everyone was very kind and helpful. The appt. was easy to make, the staff was friendly, my appt. time was prompt, equipment is state of the art, frame selection was good but not overwhelming and they were knowledgeable about my insurance options. Dr. Monson listened to all my questions and concerns and answered all of them thoroughly without making me feel rushed. I had such a great experience I scheduled the rest of my family's appts. and they worked around school and sports schedules.

I love this place. Everybody here is friendly and professional. There's no waiting, easy to get a appointment. They talk you through all the testing letting you know why and what there doing. I've been wearing glasses for 40 yrs. Been to so many different places to have my eyes checked. This is the best place I've ever been to.
