Here you will be able to see the reviews of people like you who have information of the services of Triangle Visions Optometry (Optics Shop) in North Carolina area.
Right now this business receives a rating of 4.6 stars over 5 and that score has been based on 288 reviews.
As you can see its rating is virtually the highest, and it is based on a very high number of reviews, so we can be quite sure that the rating is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to set reviews when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Optics Shop is classified in the category of Optometrist.
The staff here are impatient, unhelpful, and passive-aggressive. They are the most unprofessional medical "professionals" I have had the displeasure of meeting. Why would anyone come here, with all the other local optometry options available? Why would anyone pay to be treated this way?
Thorough exams and short waits.
Both all the staff as well as Dr. Davis are amazing, helpful, friendly and professional. It is always an absolute pleasure seeing them and having them as my eye care specialists! I highly recommend them to everyone!!!
I had mostly had positive experiences there. Today unfortunately was not that. I had called and set up an appointment and had them check that I was on my wife's vision insurance, all sounded good. Got there, and then they tell me I'm currently listed as paying as uninsured. I did find out apparently my wife's company had a clerical error that didn't place me on her vision, and I don't fault Triangle Visions for that. I do fault them for telling me I was good to go on the phone and then having me stand there trying to figure out on my phone what was going on instead of telling me beforehand and letting me figure it out before going. I also have to say during this ordeal the front desk was overall short with me, unpleasant, and unapologetic.
Best eye doctors in the triangle. I woke up one night with an eye emergency, googled "24 hour eye doctor," and was provided with Dr. Clark's phone number. I woke him at 3am, never having been a patient of his before. He told me what to do, and saw me the next day to correct the problem. Have been a patient ever since, and have had nothing but outstanding experiences in the years I've been a patient here. Great people, quality care and personality. Would highly recommend.
I have been a patient of Dr. Clark for many years (15+). He and his staff have provided excellent, friendly, and very professional service throughout. It seems every time I go he has new and modern equipment and techniques to ensure the latest and greatest in vision care. I have always been completely satisfied with the service and I highly recommend this practice to everyone.
As usual, the front desk and support staff at Triangle Visions were all friendly and efficient. While I have been a patient here for several years, this was my first visit with Dr. Davis, and I am quite pleased. I very much appreciated her scientific approach, clear explanations, and non-pushy suggestions. She was also efficient without making me feel rushed in any way, and I was in and out in just under an hour.
Phenomenal customer service and the nicest staff. Also extremely grateful for Sharon going above and beyond to make sure I got the frames I wanted.
This is the place to go for high quality eye care! The entire staff is very helpful. The doctors keep up with new technologies that make the eye exam even more comprehensive. I feel very confident about this optometry practice.
All staff are extremely professional and very nice. Sam in particular was helpful (and hilarious).
The staff was very professional and friendly. They gave me a thorough exam and explained everything related to my visit very clearly
Triangle Visions gave me many frame options to choose from and they had my new glasses ready within a week.
Always great customer service and eye health support. I was late to my appointment on this visit and they took me right in with no delays. I'll continue to see them as I've done for several years now.
I have had good experience with Triangle Visions Optometry in the past, but my most recent experience was very frustrating. I requested an appointment on-line about ten days ago. As far as I can tell, there was never any response. I made another request yesterday. A gentleman called today and put me on hold several times, tried to convince me not schedule the appointment I think I need, and then transferred me to someone else. The second person again tried to talk me out of the appointment I requested before, after some discussion, acceding. I remain confident in Dr. Boykin. The front office . . . . .
I've been seen by Dr Kroniger for over a decade and each and every time the quality of his professional examination and advises have made me come back and recommend his practice to many friends who had been less lucky elsewhere.
Always professional..always friendly...
Not only do I always have a phenomenal experience at Triangle Visions to get my annual eye exam, but this year, my insurance was acting all wonky. I received a bill in the mail and Ashley in billing was so kind and patient. She thoroughly took the time to confirm my insurance benefits and payments. She explained everything to be in layman terms so that I could CLEARLY understand what the issue was. She found my secondary insurance and fixed the billing issue for me. Triangle Visions has it all. From friendly faces at the office to friendly, knowledgeable staff in the billing department. I will continue to go here annually for all of my eye care needs!
I've been waiting three weeks for glasses with no word from the Durham office. Disappointed in the delay (I was told 1 week turnaround) and lack of communication. My doctor was fabulous, though.
This place is Great! Dr. Glupker is(was) the only reason I go (went). I am curious why I'm being asked to right a review since I have not seen the good doctor in 3 years (I moved away)???
Careful, courteous, professional service in a warm and welcoming setting.
I have been going to Triangle Visions Optometry for years and I’ve always been very pleased their quality of care and customer service!
I really enjoy having Triangle Visions as my optometrist. I have been a patient there since 2000. I’m currently seeing Dr. Kou and she is not only professional but caring and friendly. I love how I can call to speak to her about how my contacts are doing between appointments. The office staff is great too! I highly recommend Triangle Visions!!
Friendly and helpful and Fast service! Came in with a prescription and they gave my daughter great service!
I LOVE this place. Before scheduling an appointment I looked through dozens of search results, and this place has by far the best ratings in the Triangle. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, and was able to answer all of my questions. I walked in there expecting to be there for at least 2-3 hours, and was done in less than an hour! I could not believe how easy they made everything for me. I will never go anywhere else ever again.
Each member of the staff was professional and friendly. I was encouraged to ask questions at every step in my appointment. I appreciated how helpful the doctor and staff were. Highly recommend!
I have been a patient at Triangle Visions for over 20 years. This office is wonderful! I had an issue with a procedure just this week and they saw me the next day and took care of me without an appointment. This office is very professional and up to date on the newest technologies. I would recommend them HIGHLY!
The staff is great at Triangle Vision Cary Store. Very thorough and complete in the exam and giving information as the exam goes on. Enjoyed having my eyes checked and finding out information about my eyes and care of them. Highly recommend Dr Clark and the Cary Store if you are looking for a new eye doctor.
I recently went to Triangle Visions for my annual eye check up. I had been having an issue with my right eye and my vision was blurry. Dr. Lyerly was fantastic, she clearly explained to me what the issue was in terms l could easily understand; prescribed some drops for my eye and now everything is fine! The office staff is friendly and helpful as well.
Everyone at Triangle Visions provides stellar care. I even received a lovely hand-written note when I called to reschedule my appointment due to the loss of a family member. It's across town from me, but I make the drive because of the current technology and the people.
Very professional with up to date technology and equipment testing etc etc etc and the staff awesome
It was my first time there and it was a great experience. I would highly recommend Triangle Visions. Dr. Sandra Kou was very professional and answered all my questions. I did not feel like I was being rushed out the door. I was then helped by Mr. Daris Boyles to pick out a new pair of glasses. He made great suggestions and I was totally satisfied with the results. You can tell when someone truly enjoys their job and Mr. Boyles is that person. Great experience and I will be back.
Very positive & friendly staff.
Always a great experience.
First time patient and I was very pleased with my visit. Only waited a few minutes before I was taken back and everyone that I met was very friendly and explained everything in a professional manner. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Dr. Boykin, Ginger And Charles are the best. My dealings with Triangle Visions was the first time that I have ever needed correction vision and I made a lot of mistakes. Ginger and her team made sure that all of the mistakes were corrected and that my vision and comfort were paramount. Now I can see perfectly and have the right type of glasses with the right prescription. I would highly recommend that you see Dr. Boykin today if you are in need of an eye exam. He will get you squared away with the correct prescription and Ginger and Charles will make sure that you find a comfortable frame that is also aesthetically pleasing. All of these employees deserve large raises and bonuses. If they can deal with a customer like me and I walk away completely satisfied, then you know that they are the best at what they do. I highly recommend you try Triangle Visions Optometry today.
I cannot say enough good about Triangle Visions. They are not just highly competent, they are also honest and respectful. I can trust their recommendations. I first went to Dr. Clark on the recommendation of a friend almost 16 years ago, and I have never changed. My oldest needed vision correction; he was aware of the challenges of young children and vision correction and could make helpful and also pragmatic recommendations. My second oldest had perfect vision but couldn't track words properly and needed vision therapy. It is an unusual optometrist who can spot the signs. Over the years, Dr. Clark has been careful about the additional optometrists he has brought on staff, and we have always been pleased with every single one of them. They all share his values of honesty, competence and respect. In addition, the practice has the most state of the art equipment and training in a broad range of eye health issues including ocular nutrition, corneal refractive therapy, surgery (referred out, of course), and, of course, vision therapy. Again, this practice combines competency, honesty and integrity.
EDIT: I'm impressed with how quickly and professionally the issue was resolved. I have updated my rating to 4 stars because I am satisfied with how well the issue was resolved. Generally, I've had a good experience with the doctors here. However, on my last visit, I wanted to get a new contact lens prescription. But on being taken back to the exam room, I was told I needed to sign this form which stated that the exam could cost $100+. I asked whether this is covered by my insurance, and the person had no idea, so afterward I asked someone up front and they told me that yes, contact lens fitting is covered. So I made another appointment for the contact lens fitting, and received a trial box of lenses to try. I was told clearly that the contact lens fitting was covered. So, I decided I'd like to try to trial lenses first before buying, and was told that this would be fine. Well, now I've found out I owe a certain amount of money. Insurance didn't cover it because I didn't buy the contact lenses on the same day of the exam. When I called my insurance provider to ask why this information isn't written on my summary of benefits, the agent informed me that it's part of the contract with the provider, and it's the responsibility of the provider (Triangle Visions) to inform me of this (which they never did). It wasn't a good experience, having to make two appointments and now this surprise. I chose Triangle Visions because of good reviews and being near to my home, but am not sure I will continue using them as my provider.
I love coming back, for many years. It the best ,best people an very good Dr . An I will be back this year.
I am a long time patient of Triangle Visions. They are very professional and concerned about my well being. I was sent by Dr Kuo today and she was well informed of my concerns that I had shared with the technician who did my preliminary lab work. Very thorough. Megan was very helpful regarding my eyeglass selection and requirement. She has a very positive attitude as well. Thank you Triangle Visions!!
Very Friendly and Helpful Staff!!
Very satisfied with the service I received from the time I walked in till I left. The front desk was very professional and attentive to me. I was explained every process and was kept informed of the services I would have to pay for from all staff as well, always courteous with a smile. The technician at the end who assisted me in picking out the right glasses for me showed great patience and understanding on my needs and budget. They made me feel confident in my look.
1st visit as a new patient. LOVED IT! Service was gr8! Had a terrible experience the day b4 at another vision office. Staff at TVO is friendly, kind, & respectful. Dr. Boykin is WONDERFUL, a pro! Adrienne was friendly & fantastic ( "Yo, Adrienne!" ) Darrius was very helpful ....even gave me a rebate! Jonathan was knowledgeable & nice -& Ricky remembered my wedding anniversary as I was leaving upon hearing me mention it when I checked in. Was kept informed the entire visit-no bad surprises. TVO is fast and efficient with really cool machines......and there's coffee.....Highly recommend!
The doctor I saw did not seem very knowledgeable and my prescription for reading glasses was not correctly written so I could not use to order progressive lenses. I had to jump through hoops to get that prescription and it expired in less than a year. I will NOT be back.
Office is very professional and friendly. They do a thorough job with exams/testing and I'm pleased with the information I get on the health of my eyes and what options there are for any treatment. Also, I've never had to wait very long to see the doctor, they keep things moving along.
All of the staff are friendly and personable. Dr. Kou answered all of my questions in ways that were easy to understand. My husband and I have been going to Triangle Visions now for more than 20 years and highly recommend them.
Had used this place for a few years. Usually quite satisfied. But last year it was awful with the eyeglasses. I had to come to the office every 2 weeks to fix it for about 6 months, until a temporary fix was found by adding nose pads. In the 6 months they found the measure of pupil center was a little off, asked me to upgrade the eyeglasses, and adjusted the frame many times. And still this pair of eyeglasses blurs sometimes. So far this is my most frustrating experience with the eyeglasses. I do appreciate that the staff there was helpful and patient, but I would like better if the problem could be spotted and solved in 1-2 visits.
The staff were patient and kind. They helped me and gave me a thumbs up for my decision on progressive lenses.
I will not look stupid in my new glasses!!! Thank you!
Awesome customer service and top notch care
Visit felt rushed. It was more about getting me in and out than taking time for my visit. Person processing me out mentioned to others that she'd scheduled my follow up, but never told me when it was. I intentionally did not ask to see if she'd tell me and she did not which proves it is all about in, out, repeat than it is about customer sat.
Had a great experience. Check up was easy with reasonable wait times. Check out was great. Their staff a super nice and knowledgeable about getting the most out of your insurance benefits. Highly recommend.
Really good. They care about the health of my eyes and now they have some really good deals
It was my first visit with TVO of Durham and they were very warm, friendly, professional and approachable. Everyone was very nice. The assistant was very knowledgeable of what she was doing with me and explained everything in detail. The doctor was very thorough and also explained everything to me in detail and answered all of my questions in a way that was understandable for me. Her personality was very warm. The fun part was eyeglasses shopping. I had a great time shopping with the person assisting me. I felt like I was shopping with my sister. She was very patient and honest with me about what looked nice on me and what did not look nice on me. I got the glasses that I wanted and was satisfied with everything that was included in my eyeglass package. I even enjoyed a great cup of coffee after my shopping. My first experience with Triangle Visions Optometry of Durham was awesome! And I'm sure it will always be that way because I observed them with other clients. Thanks.
As a long-time patient at Triangle Vision, I am deeply grateful for the wonderful treatment and care I've consistently received there. I'm presently under the care of Dr. Clark who is simply outstanding in every respect - from his competence, his dedication, his attention to detail, his personalized care for me as an individual, and his passion for his work. On those occasions where I've seen other doctors at Triangle Vision, I've had similarly great experiences. I also love the entire staff, from front desk to all the supporting medical personnel. In addition to the exceptional care, I love the culture at Triangle Visions. I consider the staff to be like family, and I am constantly and consciously grateful to their great work and terrific support.
I’ve been to both the durham and hillsborough locations and both have been awesome. 1) I love the ease of making appointments through live chat/text. 2) I had glasses break due to manufacturing defect a month after 1 year warranty and durham location replaced with the same pair off the floor instantly no questions asked - just popped the lenses in 3) I had Issues with contact intolerance and dr. Rodgers in hillsb is making sure we find a pair that works for me.
I always have the best experience with Triangle Visions Optometry (Durham)! The staff is so friendly, they are typically on time and the patient care is great. I wear contacts and glasses and my overall comfort and happiness with the brand/product is always top of mind! I also feel like I’m never being “sold” to but rather given options on what I may want to consider based on my insurance plan. I’d highly recommend Triangle Visions!
Everything was just great. All the information needed was in place, good magazines while I waited, good technician, very up-to-date equipment. Dr. Clark was clear about the state of my eyes, gave me some options. Plus my glasses were cleaned, new nose pads installed, a couple of cleaning clothes were given to me. Really is a good option!
My experience at Triangle Visions was great! Everyone was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I was in and out in one hour without feeling like I was being rushed.
Triangle Visions Optometry continues to keep up to date with technology and the systems and equipment they use to provide outstanding eye care. The quality of service is worth what appears to be only an incremental addition to total out the door costs for new prescription eye-ware when compared to big box type optometry service providers. I have also routinely used Triangle Visions to provide safety glasses.
I had always received good care at Triangle Visions, but hadn't been back in several years. I returned for a basic eye exam and computer/reading glasses. The prescription was wrong when i returned to pick up my glasses, but the person fitting the glasses assumed the glasses were not made correctly. So he marked them up and sent them back. I returned two more times, the same thing occuring. Only on the third visit did the glasses person ask if the prescription had been double checked. Finally, they rechecked my eyes to find the prescription was wrong. Now, I’ve returned for a fourth time....the prescription is finally correct, but they sent the wrong lenses!!!! I left the practice in 2012 because, although I had alway gotten good care, they missed an important eye problem in my daughter, which nearly cost her dearly. I decided to give them a second chance because their adult care was good. Now, i have to go back yet again, and this time, I certainly hope they reimburse my money because this is beyond acceptable. I should have demanded my money back the second return, but that would require spending time and money on another eye exam elsewhere just to get a pair of computer glasses.
My initial few visits here were on par with the care I've received at other optometrists. However, when I started making contact and prescription lens orders, I encountered severe service quality issues. On more than one occasion it took several phone calls from me to receive basic but important answers to questions about my prescription and my orders weeks after my initial queries! Lag times of weeks aren't helpful when one's vision is dependent on it and when the office's return policy covers 30 days. It shouldn't require showing up in person or scheduling an appointment to get answers to simple questions, especially when the issue is caused by the office, itself, such as when a contact lens order is placed for the wrong prescription. Another frustrating and costly incident occurred when I was purchasing prescription sunglasses. My insurance was a few weeks away from the annual renewal so I preferred to wait on the purchase until the new funds were available, assuming the current sale price would be honored at that time. I was told that if the sale ended before my insurance funds renewed, that the sale price would be honored. When I came back in to make my purchase a few weeks later, the sale was over and I showed the promotional flier to the staff and explained what I was told on my recent visit. The reaction from the staff member was completely indifferent and implied how foolish I was for believing the words from the mouth of another staff member. Had I known this duping was going to occur, I would've saved myself the time and rather large expense and simply purchased the glasses on the spot on the initial visit and come out of pocket for what was necessary. Ultimately, I think this office is ok if you never have a need for service or any circumstances that come up outside of the regular appointments, but if you ever need anything it may be an arduous process to get what you need (if you get it at all). Their apparent apathy may lead to the experience of feeling disregarded.
I cannot recommend Triangle Eye on NC-54. When I went there for my eye appointment some time ago, I ended up being "upsold" on all kinds of options that I did not need and that did not seem to improve the "seeing experience" whatsoever. I purchased my last pair of eyeglasses at another shop for less than half the price.
Great service very helpful staff
Dr. Clark is one of the best in his field. He is genuinely concerned about you as a person. I have been wearing contacts for about 32 years and this by far is the best fit I have ever experienced. My son was also fitted for contacts and the staff was really patient and kept trying until he got it! His staff is nice and friendly which is always a plus!
Thorough eval and state of the art equipment. Doctors are professional and pragmatic meaning they don't needlessly run up the bill on test or products not needed. I also want to add that they are extremely disciplined with keeping the appointment time. I was seen immediately at the time I was scheduled. It was a very good experience.
Caring, sympathetic, and very knowledgeable vision care has been provided to our family for many years. Thank you!
I just moved here from a tiny town in the Midwest. I was dreading having to find a new eye doctor in a bigger city, but my experience from the moment I walked in the door to when I left was great! I felt very at home and well taken care of! I think I actually enjoyed the experience more than my "home" eye doctor. Highly recommend!
I’m surprised this place has so many five star reviews. When I was looking for a new optometrist and saw the unanimous positive reviews for this place I made an appointment. The exam that followed was unpleasant and I wish I’d kept looking. I’ve had plenty of optometrist visits in my life, most good, but not this one. I have light colored eyes, which are very sensitive, especially to light. Other optometrists I’ve seen in the past were very considerate and explained this is common with people who have my eye color. This staff acted like it was unusual and like I was intentionally trying to make the exam difficult or something when bright lights or direct contact would make my eyes water. Also, they glaucoma test they performed was much more instructive and uncomfortable than any other office I’ve visited. It’s not like anyone hurt me, or made a critical error or anything, but they were less friendly and accommodating than any other office I can recall and their methods are more invasive. I’d rate them average, not bad, certainly not great. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere next year. I think it’s important to realize this isn’t a guaranteed five star visit. Obviously most people feel that way, but I certainly didn’t. Update: After I left my original review, the general manager for this location called me to get more information about what happened. She was genuine and apologetic when I explained what happened. Based on our conversation, I feel like this location is well managed. It’s too bad the staff didn’t act as interested in my wellbeing during my visit as the management did on the ensuing phone call. I think the staff can make significant improvements in the way they deal with patients and I’m hopeful they will based on my conversation with the manager. I’m still not sure if I’d go back or recommend them, but I do believe the staff will improve and reduce number of bad experiences like the one I had.
The vision assistant Adrianne, Dr. Kou and glasses fitter Meghan were all terrific. I am still impressed by the staff and equipment. I feel comfortable with any of these employees working with my own family members. It truly is the best experience I have had at an optometrist in a couple decades. The outside of the building is an ugly shell to something quite great inside. As they say...don't judge a book by it's cover.
I have never had a more horrible experience than I did here at triangle vision in Durham. The doctor I had was amazing but the staff was terrible. I ordered a years worth of contacts and they sent the package to the wrong address two times and the woman had the audacity to tell me to go to that location and pick it up! I really hope that they changed over the front desk staff because the doctors there are amazing.
Front office staff is informed, pleasant and quick. Dr Koo and her support team are always on top of things, listen carefully, examine thoroughly and ensure you are comfortable with a diagnosis and plans going forward. Always a great experience
Everyone here is friendly and helpful and does a good job of talking you through each step of the process from check-in, to exam, and purchasing. The only thing that I would suggest is a change in booking appointments, I had a hard time getting responses from the email and voicemail automated system. After a couple of days and a couple of attempts I reached someone at the actual office phone and she set an appointment for me.
Very friendly staff willing to make your experience very comfortable
My husband and I have been very pleased with the professional and courteous care and service we've received at Triangle Visions Optometry and would recommend them to family or friends.
asked several time to remove my name because it is now 4 year that I'm back in my country in Europe but still receiving mail
Fast quality service, good frame selection, thorough exam. Recommended.
I have been a patient for over years to Triangle Vision and for the most part I have enjoyed my time here at this clinic. The staff and physicians are very professional and have a pleasant/friendly attitude. The customer service here is very nice and I always enjoy looking at your "eye glass" selection when I am interested in buying some glasses. Kudos to you all!
New: Again I had an exceptional experience at Triangle Vision! I was getting a new pair of prescription glasses. The staff were very knowledgeable and patient in helping me going through literally the whole store to find a pair of frame that suit me. Due to my special situation, it has been extremely hard to find a pair of working frame. I found a pair and got My new glasses. What’smore surprising is when I found the new pair of glasses did not work for me, they replaced it for free! Best service! Thanks! Old post: I absolutely love this place. Other people have given enough compliments about the sweet treatment they get from this office so I will not elaborate. I want to emphasize how reasonable the price of glasses in this office is. From another office around, I spend about 1000 dollars on my last pair of glasses-a single vision, not even the best AR coating or transition. From Triangle vision, I spent only ~600 dollar to get a pair of single-vision glasses with the best AR coating and even transition! I could not believe how I had been over-charged in other offices! This is where I will go when it comes to glasses in the future.
Dr. Davis was outstanding! Thorough eye exam, extremely personable. The front desk staff was smiling and helpful, the rear office staff were friendly and personable. Great experience. Highly recommend.
Amazing team & great Dr. my contact prescription has never been so clear or comfortable!
The staff here is very friendly and helpful! The doctor really took her time with me and paid attention to what I needed. Great overall experience!
Highly satisfied with my last visit to Dr. Clark. He is a very good doctor combining basic understanding of his science with a set of top level optical and electronic devices for fast diagnostics and evaluation of eye condition. He provides the patient with a precise diagnose for vision correction or with timely direction to specialized hospitals in case of unexpected serious eye deceases. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. This is why I am visiting for 5 years and recommend Dr. Clark.
Very nice people. Great customer service. Dr was so nice, kind & knowledgeable. Thanks for all your help & support. God bless all team members.
Today was my first visit with Triangle Visions and it was a great one! I was forced to find a new optometrist due to insurance stuff and was annoyed that I had to find a new doctor. But my experience today was so great! From the receptionist staff, to the tech, to the doctor, to the guy who helped me pick out my glasses! Everyone was so genuinely nice and accommodating. Can't wait to receive my new frames! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new optometrist!
Triangle Visions has taken care of my vision needs for 40+ years. They genuinely care and will work with you if you need an appointment for something unusual. The doctors and staff are the best.
The staff was wonderful and customer service was on point. From the beginning to the end I felt welcomed. The office has all state of the equipment which made the diagnosis of my issue quick. Dr Clark also took the time to show me the images and explain to me how the issue is effecting me and how it will be resolved. Night and day difference this office and others I have been in.
As usual, excellent customer service and very speedy but thorough appointment.
I received a very professional exam prep by the doctor’s assistant. The doctor was very thorough in his examination of my eyes and explained his diagnosis in simple easy to understand English. The office staff was very efficient, friendly and welcoming.
Professional staff and great facility
I've entrusted my sight to Triangle Visions for 30 years and have always been impressed not only by their professionalism and competency, but also by the ways in which i have been cared for as a patient but especially as a person.
I love this place. I live in FL and always schedule my eye appointments when I will be in the area.
Second and final year coming for my annual eye appointment. Spent a lot of time in the chair waiting for the opto to come in. When he did all I got was a "can you read this line" session and sent to the eye glasses counter to pay $180.
Very friendly and helpful!
I have always been pleased with the front staff, the nurses, the doctors, and their in-house glasses center.
From front office to back office staff to the visit with the doctor, all interactions very pleasant and welcoming. Dr. Boykin is very approachable and easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and makes you feel very at ease. Highly recommend!
I am leaving Triangle Visions. I have left a message for a callback regarding my contacts, have spoken with a person from Triangle Visions about a contact problem and was told the message would be passed on and still no callback. I have received a message that Triangle arbitrarily made an appointment for me without confirming if it was convenient for me. The management of this office needs to be reviewed and improvements made. Please know that I have been with Triangle since 1972. It is with regret that I now leave this office.
Great service really nice staff
I used to come here for all my eye care needs, but in 2012 i developed Ischemic Optic Neuropathy in both eyes,[ in simple terms,my optic nerve had a stroke],I felt i needed more comprehensive care,so i now go to the Liw Vision Clinic at Duke Eye Center. When i did go to Triangle Visions befire 2012,my care was excellent.I would highly recommend them to everyone
I've been going here for years and trust only them with my eyesight. They have a very nice staff, wait times are short (if any) and their customer service is wonderful. Highly recommend.
The only thing that kept my rating from being 5 stars is the cost of glasses. For the types of frames they offer, I felt the cost was on the high side. With my insurance most places have a selection of glasses that can be purchased without having to exceed the insurance coverage. I always end up spending at least $100 per visit. I'd like to emphasize the personal care you receive. I'm very pleased to be a patient at Triangle Vision of Durham.
Told me the glasses style I wanted they didn't have because they were "out of style". Found them just fine at Sam's Club. And no one told me my likes we're "out of style".
As someone who has dreaded going to an optometrist for years I was pleased to find that my first appointment with Triangle Visions Optometry was smooth, comfortable, and pleasant. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I greatly appreciate all of their assistance and I would highly recommend Triangle Visions Optometry to anyone looking for an optometrist.
Insurance & Payment Deception The staff here told my wife she had no insurance coverage, despite her having her laptop with her and signed into the VSP website showing that she had coverage. They tried to pressure her with two staff and a manager to give in. They offered to call VSP and that took about an hour before they actually did, then finding out they were wrong and my wife had full coverage. Apparently their sister store where we went the year before had set up appointments for us without our permission and put a hold on our benefits. Did you know this industry does that? How is that legal? After the exam, they told my wife she only owed $10 which she paid and left, but later billed her by mail for $60 more. In total, they billed our insurance $260 for one contact lens eye exam. When we called and asked for prices without insurance, we were told the same routine contacts exam was $160 - 205 (they couldn't say exactly?). So they bill insurance $55 to $100 more; how does that work? A contact lens exam is worth about $50 and is free at some optometrist shops when you purchase glasses. Never again will my family go to any Triangle Visions. This industry has become so full of deception.
In 27+ years I have received excellent care at Triangle Visions and am pleased to say that tradition continues . I met with Dr. Davis today and although the exam took a bit longer today , I was treated with respect and courtesy by the staff. Dr.Davis reassured me with answers to my questions that were clear and concise and she will monitor several issues with my vision problems in the future! Looking forward to a new generation of great care! Gale Salvini.
Been waiting for the little room more than 25min
Overall, it was a good experience. The staff was friendly, timely, and in general explained things well. I think I would have liked a little more information from Dr. Boykin about the state of my vision, but we were both a little more focused on the type of lenses best suited for my eyes than anything. In general, good experience and I look forward to coming back.
Everyone helped me out with everything that I needed to get done. Everyone was super helpful.
It is always a great experience when I go here for my eye exam. They are very professional and always provide great explanations of the tests they are performing. They are also very helpful and patient during the glass selection process as well!
Excellent Service!!!! I was treated as a VIP from start to finish! Great people at the Durham Office! Friendly Staff made me not feel like just another customer coming through, but took the time to explain what they were doing and took the time to talk. My new glasses were shipped to me very quickly, without any issues. I will be a lifelong patient of Dr. Glupker.
I have seen both Dr. Reiman and Dr. Ku and they were both very nice, timely, knowledgeable, and helpful! The staff is pleasant and you don't have to wait long for your appointment as they are efficient with their time. Great place all around.
I would like to sincerely thank Triangle Visions Optometry for going above and beyond in service and for ensuring only the finest product was delivered on time and as promised. Special kudos to Paul at the Raleigh office and Noble at the Durham location who provided stellar service and truly outstanding lenses and fitting! This experience goes down in the hall of GREAT CUSTOMER CARE!
I got a thorough eye examination in a timely manner. I got all the information I needed from Dr. Marino to make the right decision. At the end of the appointment they show you an array of glasses options for you to choose and they all with reasonable prices. I'll definitely go back.
I've been a patient with Triangle Visions for many years! It's always a pleasant experience working with the staff there!
This was my first time visiting Triangle Visions Optometry and I had a wonderful experience. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. I will definitely be recommending to all my family and friends for their eye needs.
The service and care at Triangle Visions are reliably top rate. Beginning at check in and continuing through my entire visit, everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. As usual, Dr. Clark never seemed rushed, explained my results, and provided clear answers to all my questions. I always feel very confident in the quality of eye care provided by Dr. Clark and his staff.
We love this place! Unfortunately, we can't justify the one hour drive anymore but I would have stayed a patient here if it wasn't for the distance.
We were seen on time. The waiting area is very nice and not over crowded. We were seen right on time. Great eye exam and nice selection of glasses on site.
I was a long time customer of Triangle visions, from the early 1990's but have stopped going to them or taking my family. I turned from a patient into a number. I prefer personalized care over assembly line vision care.
Staff was so friendly and helpful. Styles in glasses were amazing.
Good & reasonably quick service. Been going for a couple years now
We have been going to Triangle Visions Optometry for 4 years and they have been excellent. Very attentive and helpful during and after hours.
Hardly any waiting, every staff person was professional and friendly, no pressure to purchase glasses from them, prices on contacts were not inflated. I was out in less than an hour which is probably my quickest visit to an eye doctor ever. Overall, great experience!
I was treated like family. I was encouraged to share any and all vision problems I have with the Dr and staff. Everyone of the staff was courteous and caring. Triangle Visions has been my Eye Drs for over 25 years. I wouldn’t trust my vision to any other practice.
My experience was great! Dr. Kou was amazing, really nice and patient. And Darius is so awesome! He's really nice and knows how to choose great glasses.
eview below: My experience with Triangle Visions was great from beginning to end. From checkin the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Deanna was great with all of my pre workup and she was very conversational, a plus!! Dr Boykin was refreshing in the matter of asking me pertinent questions and really hearing my concerns. Now, off to the frames and lenses area. I am obsessed with Meghan's infectious personality!!! She made me feel like I have been coming there for years!! Love her!!
It's a pleasure to see Dr Clark. He gives honest opinion about your eyes and explain in simple term to understand. I have been seeing him for more than 30 years. He always have taken care for my needs. The staff in his office are very gracious and pleasant to work with particularly with billing question and Insurance claims. The staff with eye glasses are very friendly and informative. Gives you best choices for eye wear whether it is a frame or lenses. They also take pain in measurement so you can get vision and looks.. It was a sad visit for me because Dr Clark whom I have seen for 36 Years told me that he will not see me because of his back problem and he will be looking more on business side of the Triangle Vision. He will stop seeing the patients on daily visit and Dr Kou will take over his patients. I wish him success in his expanding the business and hope that he recover from his back pain. 09/14/2017
The Lipiflow procedure for dry eyes that I had done at Triangle Visions Optometry of Durham was excellent. I had several questions before the procedure, and Adrienne answered all of them thoroughly. She even emailed me before the procedure with additional information about what to expect. Adrienne did a really great job explaining what was happening during the procedure, which enabled me to relax, be comfortable and even start to enjoy the procedure. All of the staff here are excellent.
The doctors are very friendly and really know what they’re doing! The front office staff doesn’t seem to clearly understand the ins and outs of insurance usage so financially, my troubles with them are the reason I do not go there anymore.
Excellent support. Karen is always a pleasure to be around and does an outstanding job.
The staff including the receptionist, the beautiful young lady with five beautiful children who examine my eyes, and took my blood pressure brought tears and joy to my heart. She was very upscale, motivating, inspiring, professional, friendly, warm and kindhearted. Dr. Jennifer Lyerly, O.D. was very charming and professional. I could go on and on with everyone I came in contact with. I apologize I did not write down all the names, but I came home with a smile on my face, and a happy and 100% feeling of satisfaction. Thank you all for your professional service. I will definitely be coming back for my next check up. God Willing.
I scheduled an appointment at Triangle Vision Durham because the Apex location was updating their software so couldn't take new appointments. I went in for a routine eye exam because my prescription had expired. I wear glasses and contacts. The wait time was brief and the technician walked me through the initial routine eye tests. I upgraded to the digital retina scan to avoid dilation and was informed of the additional charge. Sandra Kou performed my exam. She was thorough, unrushed, professional, and answered my questions. My only issue was that Dr. Kou casually said she wanted to check my eyes with contacts lenses in, even though I didn't express any concerns with them. I was surprised with an additional charge of $80 at checkout for contact lens fitting. I felt like I was taken advantage of because she slipped in a procedure that I didn't want or need without informing me of the additional cost. I'm deducting two stars for this alone.
The woman that saw me before Dr.Kou was immaculate. Very friendly staff. Kou was very thorough and educated. It was a bit of a bummer that I had to buy new frames or go without my glasses for a week so was a little forced but that’s not something they can help. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a great, knowledable, high tech and precise optometrist center.
My glasses were done perfectly- however, it took 4 months for my husband's glasses to be done properly but that might be because Hillsborough was involved and they (the manager, Greg) messed the order up after the first time.
I can’t believe the deal I got on my new glasses!the staff was just great!thank you so much!
I found myself needing to make an emergency and non-budgeted replacement of my frames. I was also due for my annual exam. I was able to be seen that very same day. The nurse, Adrian made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Dr. Davis very clearly explained to me my vision status, potential concerns to watch and gave me my prescription very promptly. Opticians, Brittany and Anna were very understanding of my dilemma and helped me find an affordable option for my glasses. Overall 5+ star experience!
My baby scratched my eye and I needed to be seen. I got in the very next day. The office is very elegant and nice. The staff were exceptional and the doctor was very informative! I've actually been to 3 different locations and loved them all!
I've been using Triangle Vision for many years for my vision needs. They have a nice office, up-to-date equipment, friendly staff and doctors and I like being able to order glasses from them. Very professional.
My experience was a great one. Thank you very much for rendering such wonderful service to me. I was overwhelmed by the service that I received. Your staff is very professional, caring and honest with the customers. Thanks again
I've been going to Triangle Visions for a little over 2 years. Unfortunately, I had a less than pleasant experience less than a month ago. I had my annual eye exam appointment in July. My visit with the doctor was excellent. He was very informative and personable. He notified me that my eye prescription had not changed and updated both my eye glass and contact prescription accordingly. My nightmare began when I attempted to check out and get a print out of my glasses and contact prescription. The woman who checked me out refused to give me a print out of my contact prescription. She stated she couldn't give me a print out unless I paid $69.99 for a contact exam, despite the eye doctor instructing her to do so. She then proceeded to tell me that the doctor "did not have the authority" to waive my contact exam fee. Then she proceeded to tell me that although she could not print out my contact prescription, I could call back to order contacts from Triangle Vision. So, I cannot have a print out of my prescription BUT I can order contacts, based on my new prescription, with Triangle Visions. I quickly realized she was clearly protecting some sort of commission she may receive from my order of contacts. I chose not to argue with her further because I had to go to work. Today, I called Triangle Visions to order my contacts. Although I stated I only wanted to purchase a 60 day supply, I was continuously urged to purchase the 90 day supply. It started becoming clear that commission is more important than servicing the customer. I continued to decline the young woman's offer to purchase the 90 day trial. Unfortunately, after over 2 years of service, I am choosing not to return to Triangle Visions. It is unfortunate because the doctors are great, however, I cannot and will not deal with the tricks of the contact and glasses sales team.
I had a great experience at the Triangle Visions Durham office. The staff is friendly and professional. The employees who work with the glasses do an amazing job. They work hard to make sure you get just the right frames. I would highly recommend Triangle Visions.
Great staff! Great Drs! This is a great place and I highly recommend it. They’re very kind and knowledgeable.
My experience was outstanding.
Dr. Davis was great; professional, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly; I can't ask for more. But the whole staff is that way. That's what keeps me coming back. Of course Dr. Clark, the first doc I met at Triangle, was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous like he has always been. Thank you!!!
Went there for years and was pleased; however, once they expanded and opened other locations the staff we'd worked with for so long left. We never saw the same doctors and we were never seen on time. I gave up and found another practice.
I would highly recommend Triangle Visions. They are excellent; they are professional, compassionate and helpful.
I love this office! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The prices are reasonable and I always leave with great rebates !
