I have had glasses for 50 years and this is the best place for glasses. I dealt with Kimberly who was outstanding. I had a hiccup with my prescription from my last eye doctor and they actually replaced my lenses free of charge. Great selection of frames and all the staff seem Wonderful and very kind and fun to work with. Dr. Pope was superb in finding my true prescription. This is THE place to get glasses in Asheville!

You get what you pay for. I have been a customer for 16 years and have always been treated as a valued customer. The frames are top quality and will last your forever. I recently went to Sams Optical to try to find cheaper lenses. They were cheaper but they called after a week and said they couldn't do my lenses and offered a refund. I had to chase them down in order to get a refund. Then I tried VisionWorks. They also had cheaper lenses. It took 12 days to get them in. When I tried them on I could tell that something wasn't right. I told the manager that something was wrong with the lenses. She gaslighted me and said "No, you just have to get use to them." She never even bothered to check. The nest day returned them and a different manager agreed with me that the lenses were distorted. He offered to rush them and said I wouldn't have to wait as long this time. Well 9 days later and I don't have them. I called their corporate number and the new expected date is a MONTH away. Are you kidding me.... I am now getting a refund and going back to see the girls at L'Optique. They have already ordered my lenses and they will be in in 3-5 business days tops. Seriously people do not waste your time and money at a chain optical store. You will get zero customer service and it's not worth the extra $30 you save. L'Optique is worth every penny.

I received unsatisfactory service in my one buying experience at L'Optique. Every step of the way I had to do the follow up with the women at this shop. I received no phone-calls or alerts as to the status of my long distance purchase, unless they were promoted by me. This could have been a very simple purchase however their lack of customer service left me guessing most of the time. L'Optique fell short of even the lowest expectations. when i wrote them to tell them of my feelings regarding my experience I received this email: I apologize for all the inconveniences you have been enduring with our company. Please feel free to take your business elsewhere. We feel this email was unwarranted. Janice the owner I suggest other follow her advice, and do the same.

This is a quality establishment. They sold me such pretty and unique frames a few years ago! When my glasses broke and I did not want to buy expensive new frames, they fixed my old ones for free and even found me a set of old frames and lenses as a substitute pair until I can replace mine! No charge! Totally went above and beyond to help me. These folks are worth every penny.

Glasses are so awesome. I have been looking forward to it for the past two weeks as this is a luxury eye wear boutique. Great service however just some constructive criticism on client relationships: I requested to pay in installments of three payments. I paid the deposit and then another payment a couple weeks after which left the final balance to pay. I called afterwards a few days later to ask a question and the convo led to a girl informing me there was no second payment made. I told her to update it as I definitely made that second payment. She said she would handle it. When I came into the store for the final payment and to pick up my glasses, they didn't make any notes that I paid a second payment. It made me feel a little uncomfortable that I had to verify it to the girl after she questioned me on making a second payment saying she only remembered me coming in the first time. I really had to prove from my end when it should be on their POS system. I feel like every time a customer makes a payment you should update it. It left me feeling kind of mistrusted and rubbed the wrong way. Anyway I am very pleased overall with the glasses and the initial service.

I'm not much into fashion, lol, but I don't skimp on my choice of eyewear. L'Optique is the bomb! Their selection rivals that of what you'd find in NY or Paris! The staff is fantastic, they are supportive years after the sale, and it's just a fun place to shop! You'll love how you look sporting their specs!
