The best eye doctors in the area. My husband and I have gone to several over the years, one of those doctors over prescribed my husbands contact prescription leading to a worsening in his vision. We asked around and many people told us to go to Looking Glass in Brevard. They have given us excellent care, and we won't go anywhere else. Even after we moved we decided to stay with them. It is totally worth the hour and a half drive. An added bonus they take our insurance, so I have told all of my co-workers about them.

First visit to Looking Glass. Dr. Williams was great! Very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The support staff is another story. You are not greeted. The entire process is like a dog training session. "SIT", "GO", repeat. You go from place to place without any common courtesy or warmth. Very concentration camp meets dog training class. Customer Service or human warmth is not a quality this office possesses but I am very impressed with Dr Williams. If you can desensitize yourself to deal with the staff, I would recommend him.

I am a regular patient at Llooking Glass Eye clinic. I had bifocal implants and cataract surgery in 2007 which was very successful. And then 3 1/2 years ago I got wet macular degeneration And with the help of Dr yoder, they have kept it at bay for 3 1/2 years. Yesterday around 4:45 my eyes got very blurry on my way home from shopping. I had noticed this couple of days before but decided to drop by their office and see if I could see somebody as felt it was an emergency. I waited a little while and was able to see Dr. Verm. I apologized for going there on a Friday at 5 o’clock but they were so sweet and kind and said it was OK. That my eyesight was very important to them. I saw Dr. Verm And he solved my problem immediately. Don’t need going into detail but all I can say is that he knew exactly what to do and was very caring. I cannot say enough about Looking Glass Eye Center. They have been an eye saver for me.

I’ve like each doctor I’ve had in the past 12 years, but I would rank Dr. Johnson the best of the best! And the young lady that refracted my eyes last time I was there a few weeks ago was top notch! I am sorry I forgot her name. After we were finished, she asked me, “has anything been fuzzy, or blurry?” When I said yes, (which I have mentioned the road signs are hard to see for years,) she put me back to the machine, rechecked a few things, and saw my stigmatism needed correction...went to get a different contact, and wa la! I can now read the road sighs! She explained the technical bit about why there was no stigmatization before, but this new brand has the correction for my arc. Then the office called as a follow up and we ordered new Rex contacts

Highly professional, excellent communications re appointment and when there, an excellent facility. This is a second post, as I've had appointments in each of the past two weeks. In both instances I was called in to the exam rooms within in five minutes of the times of my appointments. The Center is a busy one but you are never made to feel as if you are being rushed. The doctors and their assistants are very patient in answering questions, etc. Now on my third post as these incredibly patient and professional folks continue to work with me as I transition from hard to soft contact lenses, moving toward cataract surgery. Dr. Johnson and his staff, to summarize in a few words, just simply are the best!
