When I walked in the door I was greeted by smiling faces! I’m honestly a very nervous person at the eye doctor but everyone including the doctor were so super comforting. The exam was explained in detail to me & I was shown how to do parts of fgs exam before I was asked to do them (I loved that part). I am going to be the odd reviewer here and let you know that my experience here was not-so-great. I think the doctors are excellent and very attentive. Their support staff, especially in the eye glass area, are slow, not as attentive and focused, and that really detracts from the overall experience. I had a 1-hour appointment, and it was almost 90 minutes before I could finally exit due to slowness between stations (initial check, doctor visit, eyeglass selection and framing). Then, when my glasses came in, they were uncomfortable, did not appear to be what I ordered, and the lens gave me headaches -- not sure if they gave me the right glasses either. The staff person could only apologize and say there was nothing she could do -- no refunds. I plan to use another vision center next year.

The entire staff at Carolina Family Vision is AMAZING!! We started going to Dr. Tart-Bryan several years ago when our youngest son started experiencing headaches. Overall horrible experience. Took 1.5 hours for a routine annual eye exam, while both of my young kids were there with me. Received my years worth of contact lenses on a Friday and the right eye prescription was wrong. Had no old contacts and had to wear my glasses for an entire weekend. Doctor did not try to talk to me over the phone about why my rx had changed so drastically (I write down my typical rx for every year) and the office staff was rude and offered no apology. Then I came into the office and they gave me a pair of trial contacts, after me telling them what the right eye rx should be. And then they told me only if the trial contacts were off would I could get reevaluated. Again, the doctor never talked to me in person when I came inside the store and the staff was rude.

I had an eye emergency the day after Christmas and with one phone call to Dr. Bryan he was there within an hour to help me, even though the office was closed for the holiday. He even came in the next day, which was also a holiday, just to make sure my eye was healing correctly. Dr. Bryan is extremely knowledgeable and takes time to thoroughly diagnose the problem. The exam was good and timely. I had the first appointment (9am) and arrived at 8:50 to locked doors. When the doors opened 8:58am, I filled out some information and waited for 10 minutes while 6 different employees walked around (very pleasant people though). Then during the exams, I felt like the guy had been saying his instructions everyday for a month straight and wasn’t thrilled about it. I had to clarify what I was being asked to do a few times as it was tough to make out exactly what he was instructing me to do. Good place though and the Eye Doctor was very pleasant and explained everything well.

Honestly one of the best healthcare visits I have ever had. I have had eye exams, ordered contacts and glasses through them and each time people are so patient and helpful! They also have a great texting service that tells you when your contacts arrive and you can text back rather than call with any questions which is super helpful when at work!

This was my first visit and I am absolutely impressed! When I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcoming smile by the receptionist, who immediately assisted me. There were no unnecessary forms to complete because you can do them online in the convenience of home and submit before you arrive for your appointment. Everyone was so nice and friendly. The facility was very clean, a smooth operation. Dr. Naik took really good care of me and answered all my questions. I went to the eye doctor today for my own appointment and my 3 yo asked for the doctor to look at her because she says she can’t see books. I thought she was just saying this because we were there, but I listened and the doctor did too. They did a full exam and it turns out she’s farsighted, so she really can’t see books well. Next week she will have her glasses. I'm grateful for them!

Overall a very pleasant experience - new office and modern technology really lets you feel comfortable about getting a quality exam and great value. An efficient and thorough exam with plenty of time to ask the Dr. questions or explain issues. They didn't try to oversell and gave me information relative to my vision that no doctor had been willing to share previously. Highly recommended! I had previously used another Dr. in Holly Springs who has been highly rated in the past and felt like I was simply being pushed through the system. There was no time to ask specific questions and the staff selling the frames were VERY aggressive. It was a very comfortable atmosphere and not one where they pushed me to buy a second pair and to hurry up and do it because I would lose the 'second pair' discount. We'll be going back as will our two daughters when they come up for their eye exams.
