I have been a client of Optique Unique for many years. Anytime I have an optometrist or eye specialist appointment, the doctors always rave about the accuracy of my prescription lenses. To quote my doctors, they say my lenses are “perfect!” I’ve recently , moved from the area, but I go back to Barry for my glasses....and always will. The staff is unequaled, gracious, friendly and professional.

After spending 1290 dollars with Barry the owner; he decided it was time to give me the shaft .I had a pair of prescription sun glasses made to order with Zeiss lenses and 50% gold tint . After examining the lenses at home I found he had used Shamir lenses , which are 100 dollars cheaper He gave me excuses that Zeiss couldn't be made with 50% tint and flashed a book with Zeiss lenses that were 30% tint. Barry figured I would never see the lens logo through the tint After doing research I found out his explanation was a total fabrication . While picking up the glasses he was typing away at the computer.I didn't pay that much attention at the time . When I confronted him on the glasses ;the next day , he showed me the breakdown of the order on the computer. He changed everything and in essence he was saying 'I covered myself' . Talking to several shop owners I found out Barry worked for a shop owner named Buddy . These same people told me Buddy was fair; but Barry had also ripped them off ,too . Our new President likes to give nick names to people that are liars and cheats and I'm no exception . He's , Barry the Bilker.

What a delightful experience! The frame of my rimless glasses broke and I needed an immediate repair before leaving the country. I am not from around here so I stumbled into this place which turned out to be perfect. The repair was so expert I can't tell there was any damage and Diane turned this around for me in 2 hours. Beautiful store, delightful people, excellent service and a reasonable price. Way cool!

I recently bought glasses that can protect me from the UV light of the three screens from work, which caused me a lot of headaches and tiredness. I described to Barry Montalto what I was looking for and was able to find me exactly what I needed. After using the glasses he recommended with the specific lenses to protect my eyes from the UV light, the headaches and tiredness has gone away! Now, every time I use the computer for work or personal use, I use the glasses he made for me. I am so thankful for his expertise in this matter. His attention to detail, caring for the client's well-being, and delivering has made my experience phenomenal.

Barry et al, are consummate professional's. I bought my glasses there a few years back. It was time to get new lenses. I decided to try a place closer to my home. BIG MISTAKE!! Went in there in the Spring with my son who needed an adjustment to his glasses. They were friendly, fast, responsive and did a great job adjusting a pair of glass frames that we purchased someplace else. They made sure they he felt comfortable and even made a second adjustment because it looked like they would slide off his nose. It has been a few months and the glasses still fit great.

I’ve been bringing my daughter here since she was a couple years old - she’s going on 8 now. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I can’t say enough great things about everyone there. So friendly and helpful and they’ve always been great with my daughter, even though she has always and still does whip the glasses right off her face every time they need to check an adjustment (lol). They have a huge selection of children’s frames and they’re super durable. Repairs are rarely needed and the glasses we get from there last for years. The furniture and decor is amazing too :) I recommend them to all my friends with children!

They are the fantastic ! Optique Unique is by far best eye glass store I have ever experienced. The customer service is impeccable, they are all very friendly and, equally important, they are all very experienced and knowledgeable ! For example, when I went to the store the first time they helped me choose a frame for my 3 year old daughter that looked great on her and it has lasted her till now, 4 years later. This translated to a great deal of savings for me because for the last 4 years, all I did is buy only new lenses as needed. Also, when I couple of times I had to consult them on minor issues, i.e., one of the parts of the bridge broke, they replaced in as soon as I walked in and free of charge! Also, they have a great play area and my kids never want to leave the store because they are having so much fun with all the toys. The rest of the store is beautiful and has a great selection of frames and lenses made with the latest and best technology available. I love the store, the service, the products and the people! I highly recommend Optique Unique !
