Though I have been a customer for years, the level of service at Parrelli continues to amaze -- and keeps me from shopping for frames online. I’ve been to a few different places in North Andover for eyeglasses. The eyeglasses just never worked for me so I continued buying OTC readers. Parrelli Optical on Turnpike St in North Andover was amazing !!! I actually felt like a patient and not a number !!! The doctor took his time during the examine and was thorough and listened to my concerns. Then I met with Martha who was so helpful. I never felt forced to buy my glasses there and Martha took the time to explained how to choose frames best suited for my face shape. The biggest plus was at no time did I feel forced to buy the most expensive line of frames. . If you’re looking for an eye exam, and a great selection of frames, this is the place to go !!! Thank you so much ! I’ll be back for prescription eyeglasses !!

This was my first experience at Parrelli Optical after choosing them based on comparing online reviews for several other local places. They have a wonderful variety of styles and sizes of frames which is a plus since I am petite and have a difficult time finding frames that fit well. Martha made the experience easy and enjoyable. This was my first time at Parrelli Optical, and it was wonderful! Matthew fitted me for contacts, he was knowledgeable and took care in explaining how my eyes worked, and how he was going to go about making sure my contacts fit perfectly. I was always told that because my eye was shaped a certain way, that I would always experience some blurry vision when wearing my contacts...not with Parrelli Optical! My vision with contacts is clearer than it has been in the 10 years I have been wearing contacts. Mathew excels at his job, is a wealth of knowledge in both contacts and lenses and seems to have fun doing it all! Dr. Metsch is also fantastic! I thought my vision with my glasses on was perfect, but he was able to tweak it just enough so that it could sharpen the lowest level of the eye chart. And the front desk staff? AMAZING!! Shelley was attentive, competent and makes you feel relaxed from the moment you walk in. Martha takes a genuine interest in how your glasses look and feel. She observed the types of lenses I was trying on and was able to casually recommend the PERFECT affordable pair that I ultimately ended up purchasing. She is honest in how lenses look on a person, and has a keen eye in recommending the perfect set of lenses. Overall, I am extremely happy with switching to Parrelli Optical and highly recommend them. First class service from the moment you step in!

I don't understand the raving reviews about this place- maybe it is because most of these reviews come from regular customers or family friends of David. Dr. David Metsch was the most rude, insulting optometrist I have ever seen. He spoke to me as though I was incompetent throughout my entire eye exam back in July of 2018 and I still think about it until this day. The staff, and the whole office is full of lies. They must have assumed due to my young age that I am too naive to know my rights- well you're extremely wrong. I was told I could not get a copy of my prescription for my last eye exam in their office because their office 'doesn't do that'. NEWSFLASH that is absolutely ILLEGAL. Under LAW all eye doctors are to give the patient their updated prescription prior to their appointment and they can NOT make them buy glasses from their office prior to giving them the prescription. Absolutely unbelievable, I would not advise anyone in their right mind to come here- unless you like being treated as the dirt on the bottom of someone's shoe.

I've developed a new eye problem which has made it difficult to find the correct glasses prescription. My opthamologist stated that I'd likely need to fill several different glasses prescriptions before I found an RX that worked as I needed. My opthamologist sent me to see Martha Law at Parrellii. She told me that Parrelli had expertise in my vision issue, and that they would have more flexibility than most in replacing prescriptions. I've really been wowed by Martha's work- She's gone out of her way to understand my eye condition, and to help find frames that best accommodate my presciptions. As predicted, I've needed to make several trips to the Ophamologist, and to Parrelli for new prescriptions. And Martha has been there every step of the way. She also helped me find a set of glasses that are affordable, comfortable, and that I love wearing. Parrelli is a great optical shop, but Martha's special attention and expertise really makes this place special and unique. Thank you Martha for all your help!!

Outstanding customer service!!! Took my son today to get fitted for prescription Randolph Shooting glasses. We learned his current prescription was not correct anymore. They were able to fit us in on a busy Saturday for a new eye exam as well as get him fitted for the shooting glasses. Dr. Metsch did the most thorough eye exam he has had yet. Thank you!!! I can't recommend anyone more than Kevin Diaz to see for custom shooting glasses. He knows the sport of trap and skeet shooting and has been involved in it his whole life.
