I went to North Country Eye Care for the first time for exams for myself and my 4 year old. It was a fantastic experience. The environment was spacious, clean, and pleasant. They had a big box of toys for kids. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and Dr. Jessica was amazing with my son. Her engaging demeanor put him at ease immediately, and she had all sorts of fun games up her sleeve to get him through the different parts of the exam. I was very impressed and I highly recommend North Country Eye Care!

I wish I could give them 10 stars!!! I had an absolutely AMAZING first experience!!! The two ladies at the check-in desk were warm, welcoming, and friendly. They were on top of their game with knowing what my payments would be, and when there was a question, they called the company then and there to get it straightened out. One of the ladies, Tina, took me to the back for the autorefractor (I think that's what it's called) as well as the "puff test" to check the pressures in my eye. She made me very comfortable, and we laughed together at my reaction to getting the air puffs! Next up, I went in to see Dr. Robinson, and she was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! She was warm, welcoming, and friendly. She laughed at my jokes and did a thorough exam. I can tend to be anxious in these situations, but I was very comfortable around her. We made light conversation in between, which was very nice, and she answered all of my questions. She also did a contact lens fitting, ensuring the ones she chose for my trial were covered by the comapny paying for them. I also noticed that she checked and doubled checked to make sure she had numbers written down correctly. She also somehow made the whole "which is better: one, or two? One, or two?" experience less less terrible. Finally, I saw Elaine for a contact lens tutorial, and wouldn't you know it, she was just as warm, friendly, and welcoming as everyone else!! She showed me (by modeling on herself) how to properly insert and remove the contacts, and then she had me practice. I had a little bit of trouble at first, but she was very patient and encouraging. She shared with me how to properly care for and clean my contacts, as well as some tips and tricks. She was extremely thorough and helpful, and she answered all of my questions! I've been wearing glasses for 20+ years, and this is the absolute best experience I have ever had with an eye doctor's office. I will definitely continue to see them, and recommend their office to all of my friends and family.
