I visited The Artful Eye after seeing it when I go to yoga. I had been calling around trying to find somewhere to get an eye exam that wouldn't burn a hole in my wallet. It was $39.99 and was an interesting process that I hadn't done before. It was much easier than going to my previous eye doctor and was much more informational. Leanne was very helpful, explaining how the eye works and helping me figure out what was happening with my glasses. Leanne showed me the distortion that occurs in my lenses (purchased elsewhere) using polarized lenses and a light source. I just ordered some new glasses and I am hopeful that the help and advice I received at The Artful Eye will help me pick out better glasses for my percription. Thank you!

I agree with Andrea Williams. In addition, any OD who would sign off on this without completing a full exam is completely unethical. Nobody should EVER trust their eye health to any random, unqualified person with a machine in a van. You have one set of eyes - treat them properly, not cheaply. Hopefully this business will be shuttered very soon, for the health and well-being of the people being conned.

How cozy would it be to walk outside in whatever you're wearing and get fitted for the perfect pair of glasses? Well, Leanne at Mobile eyez has succeeded. She parked in my driveway and spent 1.5 hours helping me select a creative frame in her renovated school bus. My digital specs were delivered in less than a week. I had used Leanne a few years back when she was still in her brick & mortar space, "The Artful Eye." I have to admit this was a better, seamless experience. Give her a shout. Super easy going.

What an amazing concept! I met with Leanne this past weekend as I just moved to the state and needed contacts. I was intrigued by the idea of a service that came to me! My street is small and my driveway has a sharp curve, so we decided to meet at a nearby parking lot. No waiting as the time slot was dedicated solely to me. Leanne is extremely knowledgeable about eyecare, very personable, and her set up was high tech! (Plus, she had some great music playing!) We talked about my eyes and my lifestyle - job, computer use, hobbies - so she could point me in the direction of eyewear that was most beneficial. I ended up getting some very stylish glasses and my contacts. And her prices were very reasonable! I felt that the whole session was tailored for what was best for me. Went in for my annual eye exam and contact fitting today and got to use the Smart Vision Labs app instead of a traditional O.D. visit. Was outta there in less that 10 minutes and both my contact lens script and eyeglass script, as well as my exam results from a M.D. were emailed to me less than two hours later. I've been wearing glasses for over 30 years and I've grown tired of the same ol' run of the mill frames that you find at all the chain stores.
