I moved to NH a few months ago and had not yet found an eye doctor to go to. Friends had recommended Dr. Jordan's office but I hadn't gotten around to calling. A couple days ago I had an accident and ended up with pieces of ceramic in my eye. I didn't want to go to the ER and see someone who wasn't trained for eye injuries so on the advice of friends I called Jordan Family Eyecare and told them what happened. They got me in right away! I was not even a patient of theirs but they did not hesitate, got me in as soon as possible. I was so impressed by their caring and professionalism, everyone was wonderful. My whole family will be patients of theirs now.

I tried to have an eye exam done there and they wanted me to sign a blank medical disclosure form. I refused and said I didn't like doing business with a company like that. I have found out it is a violation of privacy laws and they claim it was a federal requirement. I am going to complain to DHHS about it. I am also going to call Jordan's and inform them of this.

Had a appointment @ 10:00 am. Got there by 0:950. Tech took me in shortly for preliminary test, nice lady.told me to wait because the doc was running behind. After a hour and a half was taken to a examination room where I sat for about 15 min... There was no interaction about the delay.honestly I will probably will not go there again .Been going there for yrs ,worst experience

Dr. Jordan is a wonderful doctor. However, myself, my husband, and my children will be visiting a new optimetrist because of the office staff. Almost every time I have called and every time I have visited, at least one person has been exceptionally rude. Recently, I called to get a copy of my last eye exam to take to a specialist. The person I spoke with absolutely unprofessional. My request was apparently irritating and she couldn't be bothered, even going as far as to scoff at a simple question. This is just not the facility for my family and I. I will be looking for a new provider.

I can't say enough about the customer service at Jordan Family Eyecare. I went in this week with two pairs of glasses--one to have the earpieces tightened, and one that my dog chewed up. Heather fixed both in minutes, and at no charge. Then she noticed my cheap department store sunglasses were loose and tightened those up too! The staff at Jordan's always goes above and beyond and they are always friendly and helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Also can't get appointment for several months....contact lens re-order was supposed to be in a week ago. Can't even get through to speak to anyone in the office. Office hours are posted 9am but 2 weeks in a row the answering service picks up. Taking my business elsewhere.

I used to love this business. They had a great rapport with my children and I had no problems. Then the insurance changed. I was told my children could not be seen for almost 8 months because of their insurance, and hey if you wanna pay cash we can get you in in a week! Completely disgusted by this practice.

Never told me in 3 conversations before the exam that they no longer took my vision insurance, planning on using health insurance as the alternative. So they're out of net work, 60% covered, yet my vision insurance charges 10 bucks, so they did it to keep buisness, very underhanded and bad ethics. They will never see me there again. And they lied to me about other drs who do carry my insurance.

DR. Jordan has taken care of myself, two of my children and 4 of my grandchildren. ...my grandaughter was pretty much blind at two when he first saw her....he built her eye vision and strength up immensely. ..she now sees almost 20/20 with glasses and is an honor student and reads 2 plus hours a day at 9 years of age....with out him I don't believe this would be at all possible....he has been incredible with her and always patient with her fidgeting ways and kooky behavior. ...my grandson who is 10 was having difficulty in school and he found he was seeing double he gave him Training exercises to do and now has brought his grades from D's to B's due to his ability to not loose interest....it may take a while sometimes for a regular appointment but it's always worth it.....when I was recently seeing flashes of light iny eye he had me in in 24 hours.....one time I was there an elderly woman was at the desk a new employee did not know how or what to bill this woman as she had no insurance and no record of bill......he state she has bean a patient of his as long as he has been open.......I will not say what he charged her but let's say 4 gallons of milk would have cost more....he is just a kind and incredible doctor.....when buying glasses I have always bought them there his brother just as fabulous. ...his staff sometimes allowed my grandaughter to take up to over an hour picking out and trying on glasses....even when she wanted to blend three shades to tint her glasses they had never done that before but attempted it for her...it worked and looked gorgeous. ...we recently moved out of state and need to repair scratched lenses they are having us mail them and they are mailing them out for replacement and mailing them back to us......just always going beyond the call of duty. ...and for those who are not aware Dr. JORDAN FLYS TO ANOTHER COUNTRY EVERY YEAR TO HELP NEEDY CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WITH EYE CARE AND WEAR AT HIS COST.....JUST AN AWESOME DOCTOR. ...you would be nothing but happy with any and all of his staff....so after 3 generations of care I am sad to say that to say we must find a new eye doctor ....but if you are reading this review and need an eye doctor at the top of his game this should be the only choice for your family filyyoffi,Docfamily....I believe you can not ale a better choice.

Usually great experience BUT today we had a 3 pm appt...didnt leave until after 5 pm and that's without a completed eye exam! My son was NOT pleased as this was HIS appt for an ongoing eye problem he's been dealing with for months now...rescheduled to complete the exam out til the 27th! Not happy today...

I've been going to this place every time my glasses get out of alignment, which is often with how heavy my prescription is. I don't pay a dime every time and the help has always been professional, and they've never given me an attitude about it. I will be buying my next pair from them very soon.

Let me just say, Jordan Family Eyecare are life savers!!!! I Broke my glasses and had to duct tape the two halves to my hat so I could drive there. Bingo, Bango, Boom, they were able to fit my lenses into new frames, and I can see again. I have been a long time client, but after this service I guarantee, I will never go to anyone else for my eye care! Top notch service! Thank you to the gang at Jordan Family Eyecare!

I have to change my review. I called today to schedule an appointment for my son. I was told by a male who really had a hard time figuring out how to use the computer. I got a time of 10:Am on a certain day. My wife called to see if she could change the appointment she had with my son's time. The appointment for my son actually turned out to be 9:45, not 10:00 as I was told. So he would have been marked again as a no show, as happened a couple weeks ago, because this male also gave the wrong time for my son's appointment. I had to put my foot down today with a female, who acted quite put out to even give me a time. Then come to find out that what I was told as the time to be there in the first place was wrong. It's happened before, at least three times. We're done, we're taking our business elsewhere. I've had enough of the wrong times given to us then we get scolded for not showing up on time. Bye bye Jordan's.

I paid $10.00 to get my husband’s glasses restrung and it was 10.00 because of some figure eight thing they had to do. Now the other side lens has fallen out 3 times since they supposedly fixed them. What a rip off. Lucky to even get 1 star

I can't even express how welcoming and friendly the staff are, I love this place! Dr. Jordan is an awesome doctor, he makes you feel comfortable and he genuinely cares about helping you. I started out using contacts which I liked for the first two years, he had always encouraged me to get glasses which at the time I didn't want because I thought they would look terrible on me. Turns out the contacts were bothering my eyes so I ended up getting glasses after all, and I wish I had listened to him and got them from the start because I love them! My eyes never feel dry or irritated anymore. I also was in a bad accident that shattered bones in my face near my eye, and he was my first option to go to.. He got me right in, ran several tests just to make sure everything was okay and he's always checking up to make sure I'm not having anymore problems. Hands down would refer anyone to go to him, he's awesome!! Also they have some pretty great staff too... Vicki, Cassie, Kelli, Tonya, heather.. Well they're all awesome and always go above and beyond for you!!! 10 stars

All 3 of my kids go here, after having an awful experience at a dover practice. We love it here, yes sometimes there is a long wait, other times you get right in, but it's worth it for the Dr.s, and all the staff! My youngest (5), had Dr.Kay the other day, first time meeting him...what a pleasure! She told everyone how nice her eye doctor and nurse was..lol...and bragged about picking out purple frames with the nice pretty lady with the cool desk...she can not wait to go back and pick up her glasses! Ignore the bad reviews... Everyone there is absolutely amazing!

I hadn't been to Jordan since 2006. My experience then was very good and the main reason I went back. This time really was no different. Wendy at the front desk was very helpful both in trying to get my useless insurance to work for me and was very pleasant in her demeanor and approach to customer service. Dr. was also very nice and thorough in explaining what she was doing relative to the tests and ultimately helping me understand the issue with my vision. She was also helpful explaining my options for Lasik, contacts and glasses.
