My friend bought new glasses here. The two interactions he had (one to pick out the glasses and the second to pick them up) was a great experience. Kerry was so friendly, warm, patient, helpful, kind and all while remaining knowledgeable and professional. It is a great experience to witness a wonderful human being preform her job so well and connect with a person picking out glasses in a "special moment"/unrushed way. She is a great employee.

The eye doctor here is meticulous!! My previous eye doctor was an older man, which has nothing to do with it, but I was having trouble seeing and A YEAR later, I went here, and he went through every detail (not knowing the lingo) he could to make my eyesight perfect and the other guy was so off, it was unbelievable. Go her if you are in the area!!

the lady who answered the phone was very rude, and when i didnt respond fast enough yelled "HELLO?!!? into the phone and then hung up before i could even respond. hope my appointment goes better!

Eye doctor was great and so are all the women that work at the front desk. I’ve worn glasses my whole life and everyone was so helpful when i made the switch to contacts part time, the doctor even set up a class (one on one) to teach me everything about wearing them, which was way better than what any other eye doctor had offered me. I had multiple trips there to get glasses, contacts, appointment, etc and they were all so great every time

Won't go back after the way I was spoken to by the woman who works at the front desk. Since my first and only exam last year every encounter with her has been rude and condescending. From being cut off on the phone while trying to explain my prescription issue to being referred to as "sweetie". She is unhelpful, impatient, and and disrespectful. Not for me. One star for the doctor who was nice.

Great service and pricing. Dr was very thorough on exam. Nice selection of stylish frames. Picked up 2 pair of glasses. Ray Ban's and Oakly. The women helping me was very pleasant, friendly and mad my experience fun. I would recommend this place.

I very rarely leave a review but when an experience is as positive as mine I want to share it. The staff and Dr. Groves are true professionals. They are caring, friendly, warm and compassionate. They got me in right away after an incident with my eyes. Even without insurance I find their prices to be more than competitive. I won't be going anywhere else.

After multiple bad experiences at J & C Optical, I definitely won't be back. The woman at the front desk is the RUDEST customer service provider I have ever dealt with. Being in customer service myself, I was appalled by the way this woman spoke to me. Save your money and frustration and go somewhere else .

I agree with the comments regarding rudeness, but more disturbing is their bait & switch routine. I had an eye exam and bought Wiley X prescription sunglasses and they didn't seem right, so they scheduled another exam and made the new script just a little stronger and replaced the lenses. They acted mystified by my initial complaint and left me feeling it was all my problem. Fast forward several years: I used the expensive prescription sunglasses they sold me maybe an hour total in all that time because they still weren't right; I went to a new place for an exam and had the glasses checked out. Turns out they didn't provide Wiley X lenses and used some lesser off-brand lens. They sold me on the quality of Wiley X "military grade" and even when I had an issue with the lesser lenses they didn't disclose the use of off-brand lenses. If I had been informed and given a choice, I would have paid the extra $$ for the better lenses, but that's not how they operate, apparently. They wasted my time and money. Avoid these fraudsters.

I have never before been treated this rudely and with such disrespect and disregard at any other Doctors Office! The front desk woman is the most unpleasant person I have ever talked to. She was unfriendly when I came in, and unfriendly over the phone. I recommend taking your business elsewhere because the people in this office will not treat you professionally.

I have been going here ever since i was little. Now as an adult i still love the place and love how great everyone is there. I recently brought my boyfriend to help me pick out frames and by the end of the day he and his brother both wanted to switch to J&C! High quality service for a very reasonable price.
