I have been going to Las Vegas Family Eye Care for years and they are awesome! I originally saw Dr. Magdato and she is the best, always personable and really cares for her patients. Due to her schedule changing I have seen Dr. V for the last two years, and she is awesome as well, she definitely fits well at this office. I love Dr Angell, Great optometrist! However they are short on staff, last week I went in to make my appointment and it’s always the same young lady trying to run the entire front desk, which is frustrating because it leaves patients waiting until she’s available although she is very nice but definitely need more staff. I went in for my appointment and that same young lady was trying to collect my copay she had a question and asked Lupe to get my copay and with an attitude said “ why can’t you do it” when she clearly wasn’t busy. Definitely should hire more staff.

I'd been going here for about six years. In the past, a few of the staff have been rude, but I liked the eye doctor so I dealt with it. But for the last three years in a row, my prescription for my contacts has been wrong. That means going back again, getting the contacts checked only for the doctor to say, yes you're correct, these contacts aren't accurate. Really? I think I should know whether or not I can actually "see" clearly. Then you have to wait again for the lenses with the correct and accurate prescription to come in. This will be the last time I get my eyes checked here. Word of advice, If a patient says they can't see clear out of their new contact lenses, I suggest you listen to the patient. Either that or instead of just having them come in to pick up their lenses, have your patient put the new lenses in while they are there and take five minutes to make sure the prescription is correct. After all, it is their money they are spending in order for them to be able to see clearly.

Everyone there were very helpful, the doctor wow she was so special, as a person as well as the doctor, she helped me so much and told me everything wrong with my eyes. Came in town from Michigan for a few days, had an unexpected incident, and they allowed me to come in right away! I was visiting Las Vegas with my husband to celebrate our anniversary and realized upon landing that I forgot my contact lenses. I wear dailies so I could not reuse the ones I had in. I called this clinic and they were beyond helpful! I had my doctor back home send them my prescription and they gave me 4 days worth of my contact at no charge! They saved my trip and I am so greatful!

I forgot to mention not only do they treat customers like a dollar but the DRS treat the staff like slaves, they don't even ask for the things, THEY DEMAND THEM TO DO THINGS, WHICH IS COMPLETELY EMBARRASSING FOR THE STAFF, AND MAKE THEM LOOK STUPID IN FRONT THE OWN CUSTOMERS, I think the DRS are very UNPROFESSIONAL AND NEED TO TREAT STAFF WITH MORE RESPECT. All the staff was friendly. I was hesitant to take my daughter as I had read they were not that kid friendly. I was wrong! They treat kids well and they understand that some kids are scared or just quiet and shy (like mine). They let you be there to calm them down and they give the most absolute attention to them... all the staff was nice. I decided to make myself an appointment for the next day. My doctor was so nice and friendly she was patient and helpful and most importantly she explained what she was doing and results duper easy for me to understand. The prices are good too and they carry many brand name frames if you are looking for glasses and their selection on contacts is great too. Totally recommend them.

went in on Thursday and Never seen a lazier worker in my life then the lady in the left corner who is there for the money not because she is interested in helping patients, didn't bother to say hi or even check me and family in she just started at us walk in, the other young lady did who was on the phone hung up to take care of us, unbelievable how she noticed there was a balance on the account and couldn't tell me herself yet whispered to the younger to tell me, as if she cant speak for herself. phones ringing like crazy and that lady just sitting there with a bitter face not making an effort to pick up calls, dr angel was great to all the kids and that young lady in the front desk and in the back room were great too

I have been going here since I was a child. Used to see Dr. Angell, and he was always great to me and my siblings. He was my eye doctor throughout most of my youth. As I got older, I came back on my own for my adult vision exams, was seen by a new doctor Dr. Guerrero; she is fantastic ! Very friendly and attentive, she easily became a favorite. I absolutely love her ! My 7 year old son has seen her for his first exam also. I had my doubts about his vision and she had no problem retesting and easing my worries where needed. We have both seen her consistently for years and it is always a pleasure, she is one of the best :)! On a different note, my sons most recent exam was on a day Dr. Guerrero was not available... because I didn’t want him to miss school, I scheduled the appointment anyway. He was seen by a different doctor; Dr. Magdato. I was initially skeptical going in because I am super iffy about changing doctors etc, especially considering I’ve had exceptional experiences with Dr. Guerrero for myself and my son. But upon arrival and meeting Dr. Magdato, my skepticism was quickly brushed away. She is so personable and friendly !! She is absolutely great with kids also ! Very patient and affirming in her interactions. My son loved her, even if he acted shy haha ! This only makes me love this place even more, I have personally met/seen 3/4 of the doctors and they have all impressed me! If you are looking for a new eye doctor ... this is the place to go !!! On top of their fantastic eye doctor staff... their front desk, and the people who help you choose glasses etc are ALL very patient and eager to help. Five stars all the way, in all aspects. I will forever be a guest/patient here when it comes to my vision needs.

First impression: I walk in to lovely receptionist, but there was a male DR who later find out wasn’t the one I was going to be seeing (thank god) screaming at a staff member because a patient was late for his appointment, and how the only one that can make the decision to be seen is the DR and not the receptionist....the amount of unprofessionalism by that DR is ridiculous, that is definitely not the way to resolve a problem, screaming at your staff in front of customers is not pleasant to watch at all! That conversation shouldn’t have been presented in front of the customers But in overall great customer service by that young lady ! All so young and sweet...definitely deserve better !

I had a great experience at this eye doctor. It's the first time I've tried a different eye doctor since I've been going 20 years. I was not disappointed at all. Dr. Monahan was great and so was Mr. Jeff who helped me pick out my glasses... Literally; I couldn't choose and helped me pick the best option to fit me. Dr. Monahan answered every question I had withoit a problem and also advised me. The women at the front desk reception were also nice and so was the woman who checked my eyes before I went to Dr. Monahan. If highly recommend this office!
