First, I think this is the same place I went to 10-15 years ago. However, last night my glasses just snapped at the nose bridge. I woke up early and went to see my optometrist this morning to hopefully get the repaired or replaced. Unfortunately both weren't options for them but they referred me to here. I couldn't be happier. I wasn't sure what I was going to do as my spare pair of glasses have gone missing. I showed up and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or understanding. Brittany (the owners daughter) was amazing. She walked me through everything, was very clear on expectations and made sure I understood all of my options. I wasn't able to get them repaired but they were able to replace them. I walked in just after 10am and they said they hoped to have them done by 2:30. At 11am I was on my way home. I now know where I will always return to.

They treated me awful mean. They know they are the only game in town and will charge riduculous prices. You are @ their mercy. broke my glasses, they grinded lenses smaller to fill small black plastic cheap frames (their cost was probably a buck). grinding lens w/bifocal cant be good for you vision Told clerk bought glasses there in the past but now on fixed income and read somewhere they discounted disabled child (am disabled now). The big girl just looked at me and said I do not look like a charity case. As I said, they take no prisoners. $115 out the door, take it or leave it. Best part, they dont except any insurance plans! IMHO their logo should be modified to FRAME FIXERS ARE F______S!

Toni Shah

Price was triple what others were quoting. I am sure their quality is there but the price is not.

Jerry Greenberg

Very friendly, experienced owner. Nice shop, very fair prices. Could not ask for more.

Fixed our prescription sunglasses for only $25! Great place!

Guillermo Suarez

Rude, pompous, big, extra large burger queen woman charges triple the average cost of a simple repair, needless to say she didn't get my business. What a joke!

True professionals. If you just want a tech to tightened your inexpensive glasses, go to Walmart. If you really need a true professional who knows what they are doing and you are willing to pay to get it done right the first time, this is the place. They have been around long enough to know how to best handle all the different types of plastics and metals frames have come in for the last 30 years. They are worth every penny. They were also polite, prompt and curteous. This is an unsolicited review. I write very few reviews, but Frame Fixers is worth my time. A community needs a business like theirs.

If you have Silhouette frames (or frameless glasses), you MUST to go here for repairs. My glasses have never been tighter and more solid than after repair at Frame Fixer. Amazing shop

PRICE GOUGERS $150.00 TO REPLACE WIRE NOSE BRIDGE THAT HOLDS THE LENSES TOGETHER ON A PAIR OF WIRE RIM GLASSES. 5 MINUTES OF LABOR. POSSIBLY A 10 DOLLAR PART. THEN SHE LOOKS AT YOU LIKE, TOUGH WERE THE ONLY FRAME FIXER IN TOWN. THE WOMAN ACTUALLY SAID "I HAD TO GO TO SCHOOL TO LEARN MY TRADE". BIGGEST RIP-OFF IN LAS VEGAS!!!

Anthony maio

I broke my glasses and came to this place. Not only is the optican lady the rudest women in the world but they make you pay for their service up front without knowing what your getting. Joke.

No Name

They close at 4:00pm on Saturdays. I got there at 3:00pm and they were already closed.

Steven ThreeFeathers

Pleasantly surprised when I got my glasses back from repair, as I thought the glasses were destroyed. Abit more expensive than I'd thought, but far cheaper than new glasses, so I am happy.

Greater Baltimore Transportation

“Excellent Service and Wonderful Staff”. Fair Pricing. Thanks again Danny!!

Matthew McElhinney

Great experience. My frames broke while visiting Las Vegas. The person helping me was very knowledgeable and offered a couple of options for repair. The repair option we chose was completed in about an hour and a half. Repair was a bit pricey, but well worth it.

Kory Mccann

Outstanding. Been going here for 15 years. I don't live in LV anymore but still send my glasses here to be repaired.

Paige Ochoa

Be wary - they have a lot of options but they really cracked my transition lenses when they moved my old pair into my new frames. Since they were old lenses they did have a few signs of wear and tear, but nothing like the spiderweb cracking that I found when I put my redone glasses on. When I called to express my concerns the owner took no responsibility and said my glasses were just old and I shouldn’t have put old lenses into new frames...which is the whole point of their business. Take photos of your glasses before you take them in, and draw out where each scratch is if you can - otherwise you are out of luck and will need to pay an additional 30 dollars to even get your lenses out of the new frames. I’m so disappointed, I should have gone to an actual eye-doctor to get new frames for my old lenses.

Fixed my prescription sunglasses This shop has been here for at least 30 yrs, has always been amazing in their service & expertise, and above all -- exceptionally fair in pricing. What a blessing to have quality craftsmanship, courtesy, and business kindness!

Michael Barron

Don't give them your glasses...It took 3 days longer than promised, they scratched the lenses during repair, the temple piece was a different color and they refused to take responsibility.

Jian Paolo Buzar

Fast service, nice staff. They were able to fix my glasses on the spot and very quickly.

Fake “steve madden glasses” sold for 140 broke a week later.... I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!!! if i cloud give NO STARS i would! My mom had broken her Michael Kors glasses a couple weeks ago and she found this place they somehow convinced her to get new frame and wanted to sell her "Steve Madden" frame, after convincing her they reshaped her lens to match the "steve madden glasses" after purchasing the glasses for $140 they broke two weeks later! my mom had to go to work and she asked me to drop her glasses off for them to be repaired they said they couldn't be repaired and she would have to get new ones! but to tell you I had been skeptical from the start! when my mom first brought home the glasses "Steve madden" was written nowhere on the frame... which was a huge red flag, but my mom didn't care. Anyways back to me bring them in when i first walked in and showed the lady she told me they don't carry these glasses, I told her yes you do look up my mom by her name, they did and found her after i asked why steve madden wasn't written on the frame they said it had rubbed off! ( NO IT WAS NEVER ON THERE ) she began showing me new styles and offered the ugliest pair of glasses for $97! i said no then they offered to give her a metal frame for the same price i said i'll let my mom decide when she gets off work she then said "Okay, leave frame her and we'll search for her" i said no ill take the frame with me, later i called steve madden asking them is it normal for their label to rub off in 2 weeks (there was no label) they said "No all of our labels are engraved on all glasses" when i was calling back to tell them the glasses were fakes she then admitted that there was some kind of "mix up" and the labels were switched and blah blah blah and if we can come back they'll replace the frame free. sadly my mom agreed because she was in desperate need of her glasses and could not see with out them and got them replaced, for other cheap looking ones... i did some research on the frames they sold on the original website it was selling for $22!!!! $7 on amazon!!! and the lady claimed that the frame is still original price while in store for $140. This place is so damn sad please avoid it or verify your frames, there is no excuse to sell glasses for a living and "A mix up happens" ripped my mom off for $120!!! if it was up to me i would of gotten a refund... definitely considering reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

I went to the frame-fixers on W. Charleston today to have the temple piece of my sun glasses fixed. The big, unpleasant, pompous lady, who said she was an optician, said it would be $55, to which I said would be too much, especially since the sunglasses only were about $55 to begin with. I should say that this is my second try at posting this because the other one was taken off. In the 35 years that I've lived here, this is one of the biggest rip-offs I've encountered. I'll never go there again. Like one of the earlier posters, I'd give them a half-star if that was possible.

Aaron Orta

I went in here Yesterday because the lens kept falling out of the frames. they Fixed this issue for free, they did recommend that I get new pads that only took seconds for them to replace and only $12 out of my pocket. I have been here a few times in the past and always a good experience. I will say that the people working here yesterday are different than when I have come in the past. I am not sure if they are new or just different.

Highly recommend Frame Fixer. I broke my 1990's Ray Ban Wayfarer IIs. Went to Frame Fixer to have it fixed. I broke the frame just under the thinnest part just below the bridge. Very professional explanation of the repair. Fair price. The repair is great, you cannot see the repair! Don't break your glasses but if you do Frame Fixer is the place to go.

John Bartholomay

Very disappointed. They charge exorbitant prices for simple repairs. What's worse is they demand that you pay for work up front or they won't touch your glasses, even though you have no idea regarding the quality or acceptability of their work. I wouldn't pay a doctor or an electrician their full fee up front when I have no idea whether I will be satisfied with their work. Why would I pay for repairs to my glasses up front?

jessica walker

Wish I could give them half a star. I was refered to them because they are said to have all type of screws for glasses... Well...They were so rude. All I needed was a screw and they wanted to charge me a crazy price and told me that it would take hours to find and put in the screw.. Along with that they told me if I didn't get the pads on my glasses replaced the charge for the screw would go up. From $8 to $12... Then if I chose to get the screw and the pads it would be $24... Then they go on about adjusting my frames and additional costs.. Mind you I never purchased the glasses there.. All I came in for was a screw and I offered to just purchase the screw and put it in myself.. The lady told me no. Haha... And that I'm not the only customer they have.. When I was the only on in the store at this time...Haha well they won't Ever have to worry about me EVER entering their store again...

WHAT an F@#$ING JOKE.. enough said

This is a family owned business. They are awesome. I have dealt with every single employee in the last 2 weeks as they got 2 specific technical special requests done for me. One for a costume, the other was prescription goggles. The entire time Kenny and his family have treated me with the utmost respect. I never had one issue with anything they did. Please please give them your business. Their family has kept the business for decades and I saw them treat every other customer with respect while I was there, even and especially one upset lady behind me. I don't understand these reviews calling people fat. That has nothing to do with anything. That lady took GREAT care of me and others. Saw no attitude from her whatsoever. Please ignore those reviews. Thanks!

dorinda blackstone

Gloria, one of the representatives at the front desk, was extremely rude, disrespectful, and condescending.

Mirtha Castellano

You get what you pay for! To the reviewer who said, "Quality is there but the price is not" I go for quality 100%! When my glasses broke and I was about to go on vacation out of state the next day, my own eye people from whom I bought the frames (and the repair would have been free) had to send the frame out and would not have it ready for about a week or more. I got out of there as soon as I could (it was almost 5 pm) and went to Frame Fixer and in less than 10 minutes my glasses were ready. I don't even know how much I paid for them but whatever it was, it was worth it! That was over two years ago. I was a very happy traveler.

Bad bad bad service optician is rude!!!

I have had a few pairs of glasses repaired here in rhe past. I think rhe most I ever paid for a spot weld on a nose piece or arm was $34. I went in today and was quoted $65 for a small laser weld. Not worth it. I would rather buy a new frame. Guess the rent in that plaza haa increased substantially to charge those prices. You lost my business. The sad part is the female clerk, really did not seem to care as a longtime customer walked out the door. Thu is an additional part. They are so unconcerned about bad customer service and high prices, they never replied to my review. That says everything about what they think of their customers. Went to Gem optical and had my glasses fixed for $32, half of what they were asking. Nicer staff, and quality work. Never going back to Frame fixer

I arrived in town yesterday and had no time to wait for new lenses, so I took my metal-framed eyeglasses in to be repaired. The frame is special to me as I purchased them in Italy in 1980. I was greeted cheerfully and they took me in immediately. The optical specialist changed both nose pads and repaired the bent frame in less than 15 minutes. Total charge was $12.00! This is a great place to get things fixed or new ones ordered.

Sarah DeMaio

Referred by optic gallery needed frame repair a little pricey fix but way better than new frames and lenses! Very Happy!

Walt Dittrich

This place fixes glasses, usually by the next day, and they STAY fixed! They're also honest about it, trying to up front of they can't fix 'em. Very friendly and affordable. Unfortunately, we've been there several times over the years due to my son regularly breaking his glasses (different pairs). ALWAYS satisfied! Love it!

Alma Hernandez

I walked in with the bridge messes up and the left ear (arm) completely twisted and broken off after my mom accidentally stepped on them. When I got my glasses back they were nearly better than when I first bought them! Really impressed and grateful for their service and care!
