Great service. Three staff persons were smoothly handling lots of various eye-related problems in a friendly competent way. I had a broken frame issue. She looked at it, saw what needed to be done, and had it repaired in under 15 minutes. I bought these in another state, and Custom Eyes charged less than $5 for this repair work. Very fair. An amazing small business providing full services from eye prescriptions to frames, contacts, adjustments and repairs

Went in for a scheduled appointment after they told me they accept VSP insurance.....after I get there they tell me they dont accept that insurance and I would need to pay out of pocket. To make things worse while I was speaking with the front office girl the Dr. decided to take a walk in eye exam even after the girl pulled her to the side and said you have someone waiting. Instead of waiting another hour I walked out. 3 Months later I have banks calling me saying someone is trying to open credit accounts in my name and the address they have on file is the address I used on all the forms at this office....go figure. Should be advertised as Worst EYE Dr. EVER!!!! Nothing Custom about this place. Office was a little unkept as well. Save yourself the hassle find another Eye Dr.

I love going here. The customer service is great and for the most part I have been able to get my glasses the same day that I ordered them. I always suck at picking out glasses that fit my face well and they helped me pick out two different pairs that I absolutely love! They're also very affordable and almost always have deals on the lenses.

They were especially patient with me in January when I needed contacts for my wedding & our new insurance was giving us issues. They worked through it with me & were extremely kind. Custom Eyes is the best place in town to get glasses. I recently used my vision benefits to get a new pair of glasses and the experience as usual was phenomenal. David and his staff are top notch. I can’t recommend this place enough. Whether you live close to North Las Vegas (like me) or you’re in Boulder City or wherever, it’s absolutely worth the time it takes to get to Custom Eyes.

My daughter and I both came here to get our vision check and for glasses. Dr. Van Tran was friendly and personable and made my daughter's first experience an enjoyable one. The staff was very helpful and easy going and our glasses were ready for the following day. I would strongly recommend this place to all my friends.

Would not recommend. Dr. Tran. Very nice, but totally missed a severe dry eye diagnosis on my mother and the beginning of a cataract on my husband. Glasses took too long to get in. They were reasonably priced, but very cheap quality. They didn't stand behind the quality issue. Had to start over with new doctors.

The staff was super friendly and Kim was Amazing! She helped me pick out my glasses and she goes the extra mile with her patients! Hands down best customer service! Love this place !

So i called to make an appointment. I have vsp. Instead of telling me that they don't take vsp they tell me that they couldn't find me, yet still were trying to keep my appointment. I was like no. I pay for insurance, I'm going to use it. I went online, found my benefits with vsp and informed that that I have coverage, but there's no number or anything since they have to look it up with my social and all the info they have is correct. They told me they will check again. While waiting to hear back I looked on my computer for places that take vsp and they were not listed so I called them back to tell them it isn't that you can't find me, it's that you guys apparently aren't a vsp provider. Guy I talked with, David I believe, was super rude and sarcastic with me before ending the call. Now I remember why I haven't been back to them in a couple years. Update: apparently David never cancled my appointment for today because I just got a text saying my appointment is at 1320. Now I have to wait until 10am to call and make sure they cancel it and dont charge me as a missed appointment/no show. So professional and convenient.

The service at Custom Eyes is awesome! You are greeted as soon as you step in the door. You are treated with a warm smiles and made to feel special. Glenn has exceptional patience with you. He will take the time to help you pick out the glasses that will be the best fit for you. And, he will take his time until you are comfortable with your purchase. Maria is also great with taking her time and answering all of questions. The entire staff seems to be pretty good as a watched them with other customers but, those are the two that we interacted with the most. The prices are reasonable and there is a nice selection to choose from. I would definitely recommend Custom Eyes.

When I moved to Las Vegas, I did not think I would be able to find an optomitrist that was up to par with my eye doc up in Michigan. I WAS WRONG!!! Dr. Tran is the most informational, hands on, fun and efficient eye doctor I've ever had. She sat me down and said "I am going to tell you everything about your eyes". Dr. Tran is wicked awesome, but so is the rest of the staff! Kim, Dr Tran, and David (I think) were an absolute joy to do business with. I asked for durable frames, and that's what I got. I wanted to stay in my price range (which was not high by any means), and they kept me in the zone. I was in and out within an hour, walking out with my new pair of glasses and a great big smile. This Glasses store is very highly recommended by me. If I had friends in Vegas, I would send everyone to them. Thanks for the dynomite experience, guys! See you soon for my Rx Shades!

I had been having the worst time with contacts and Dr. Tran took the time to hear me out and gave me multiple options to choose from ... her assistant was also awesome! I also ordered glasses out front & they were nice to work with as well.

Doubtful I'll be going back here. Had an eye exam and declined my contact Rx. Didn't realize it was the policy of this place to let one's Rx expire after 90 days. Upon going back to reverse my decision and obtain contacts was told of the 90 day expiration policy and informed an exam would be $120. Doesn't sit well when one spends close to $800 at the establishment on and exam and eyeglasses! Not good to say the least. Like everywhere I've been, medical admins are the worst, it's all about squeezing the last nickel out of you.

Horrible customer service. I made an appointment for 2pm on a Tuesday 3/14 but they didn't have me scheduled. The woman spoke to someone in the front who claimed my appointment was for the previous Tuesday, 3/7. This would be impossible as my initial call was on Friday 3/10. I showed the employee my phone log confirming that I didn't call the office to schedule my appointment until after they claimed my appointment had already taken place. They seemed very unapologetic and didn't guarantee they would get me in to see the doctor today. I wasted a day off of work because of someone's incompetence. Stay away from this place.

In addition to poor quality lenses, don’t expect any spectacular customer service. I’ve worn glasses for years. I’ve never had an issue with the AR coating on my lenses. A year after purchasing lenses here, the AR coating broke down very badly, causing me horrible migraines. I went in back in. I thought that, because this was so rare, there would be no charge to replace these defective lenses. That wasn’t the case. I made it clear that I think it’s bad business to charge for this, and if they charged me ($60) I probably would not come back. The owner still charged me. That is what their customers are worth. So, in addition to poor quality lenses, don’t expect any spectacular customer service.

Just got my glasses from here for myself and my wife. What a wonderful experience! Dr. David was excellent in helping us fit our glasses and extremely helpful. Had much better selection of glasses than some places I visited before here. They took my insurance no problem and Dr. David even noticed my 19 month old son was on insurance and could use it toward special toddler sunglasses even though they weren't a prescription. Will get all my eye needs filled here.

Got the eye exam and paid extra for the contact lens prescription. Was given some contact lens to try. I rarely wear contacts which I told the Dr. The lens weren't as comfortable as I liked. Went back a little more than six months later, as it took a while to try the lens a lot because I rarely wear them. I was told there would be a "fitting fee" to try another brand. TALK ABOUT BAIT AND SWITCH, because it had been longer than six months. I've been wearing contacts since they were invented and never been charged a fitting fee. As a matter of fact, other eye doctors let you come back to try different brands, and have even written my prescription with several brands listed on the script. THEY DO NOT TELL YOU THERE IS A SIX MONTH DEADLINE AHEAD OF TIME. Typical, shameful "nickel and dime'ing you to death." I've spent a lot of money at this place since I moved to Vegas two years in a row, but no more. I don't do business with shysters, and you shouldn't either. Beware.

Lowest price I've seen anywhere. Other big brand eye clinic would charge you an arm and a leg for the most basic cheap lowest quality pair glasses. They are much more affordable, so much so I decided to upgrade my glasses to photochromatic which change color depending on the sun.
