The manager is very dishonest. He tried to act like he was my friend, yet when I asked if they can negotiate the prices, he lied to my face and said no. I had stopped by the store weeks before and an employee told me that they can take $40 off on sunglasses over $100. When I mentioned it to the manager after he lied to my face, rather than telling the truth finally, he still partially lied and said that they can take $30 off on sunglasses over $150. When I left, I was kind enough to wave bye to him. But it was very strange that he would not wave back or even acknowledge it. He looked right at me with a stern look and did nothing. A bigger problem at this mall is that if you do not dress like a yuppy or like you're going to church, the employees act like you're a shop lifter. I dress casually, ESPECIALLY when all that I'm doing is shopping. That is the appropriate way to dress while shopping. And those mall store employees always follow me around and stare at me. They pretend to be sophisticated, but they have the mentality of an animal.

I see another lady’s review about scratches on her $500 lense... I JUST ran into the same issue with a pair that was about $200. I have 3 little scratches in a small area on my lenses and they said that “I” dropped it!!! Mind you, I bought these glasses at 5:38pm on a Sunday so the sun was setting. I didn’t use them until the next day!!! I seen a small scuff and waited until the location (nearest to me )was open...at 3... (Coronado) Tried to get a refund or even exchange but they refused to help me.. I understood because I didnt buy it from her hut... I got it from uptown store so I went over to that location and tried to get some help as to what I can do. the guy was friendly and very helpful with my purchase but as far as my refund or exchange he sat quietly while the young lady handled it all rudely... but sadly I seen the last review saying a guy sold her a pair. I’m wondering if it’s the same guy that sold me mine? They claim they’re the best at inspecting before selling but a same issue twice? STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!

I have done my business with SGH for the last 12 years, worked for them and have about 15 different pairs from them. I never had any problems until I bought some Prada sunglasses for $500. The guy wanted to adjust them for me and used heat/tools for the side pieces and nose piece. After he was done he boxed them up and I left... The next day when I opened them, I saw a bunch of deep scratches on the frame and lenses. I would have never paid $500 for damaged sunglasses! I went back to exchange them or get a refund and management basically accused me of lying by saying "We would never sell sunglasses in this condition." They refused to help me, blamed me and were rude. Another employee reached out to me and said they called all of the NM stores and told them about me, in reference to me returning sunglasses before. Which had nothing to do with selling me defective sunglasses, and it was unprofessional and horrible customer service. They do not care about the people spending money there, they just want to make a sale. I used to work for them... and never will I do or recommend business with them again. They are not honest at all and to gossip and lie about customers is just distasteful, especially when an employee reaches out to me directly to let me know.

She answered most of my questions before I asked them. NADINE was professional, courteous, and patient even in light of my not being a paying customer per se. Very pleasant visit with an 'old school' customer service professional. Promote immediately.

My purchase was good and the woman who helped me was very professional, helpful and friendly. However, I will not 5-star the company for not being clear to employees about the role that something like reviews play in helping other customers. The employee here said that she was aware of a no media policy and so she was not sure that she could authorize me taking photos for this review. That’s definitively something to improve on for the company itself. It bothers me every time a business does that and it surely discourages you from going back because the message it sends is that transparency is not a company priority.

Great selection of sunglasses. The store ir big enough to make it hard to choose your new pair. The saleswoman was very friedly and prompt to us. There's a wide range of prices, maybe something between $70 and $300. We got lucky and took the last 2 of the models we choose.

Went here to see if I could get my glasses adjusted for my large head. I knew my aviators couldn't be adjusted but my girlfriend said I was wrong, so there I was. Went in to the lady behind the desk and ask her if it was possible. She informed me no but you could bend them a little. She proceeded to gently bend my aviators and then, snap. She bent them too far and they broke. She tried to hand them back and play it off like it was normal but the dangling piece gave it away........The only reason I gave 4 stars is because she made things right and had the exact pair one day shipped to my appartment. I respect that.
