This was the worst appointment that I have ever gone to in my life. I have been going to this office for years now, and will never step foot in their door again. My appointment was the day after the election and the workers were in the back talking loud making all types of comments. The nurse that helped me was great, It wasn't until Dr. Belk walked (which was my first time being seen by him) in and made matters worse. He walked in didn't speak, when he did speak it was rude , and treated me as if I was a child. There was no respect at all. My whole family goes to this doctor, but not any longer. I am a very respectful person who works in the medical field and I guess he wasn't in the mood for any blacks this day but that's not my problem, business should be handled as usual no matter what. I'm paying you it's not the other way around. It's a very sad and unfortunate situation.

Dr Belk was more knowledgeable and shared more information with me about my eyes than any optometrist ever has done before! I would definitely recommend this Clinic for your Optometry needs!!!

Sad to say after 4 years of going here that I will *never* attend this eye clinic again. I called for my 3 year old daughter's first eye appointment. She has a tribal insurance card that covers all medical, dental and vision services at any location we choose. However, the woman who answered did not know how tribal insurance works and was extraordinarily unprofessional, patronizing and rude when I explained it, and would not allow us to make an appointment using it. I calmly asked to speak to someone else and she refused, then lied saying no one else was there. Finally after insisting to speak to someone else she conceded. In speaking to the next person, she was more professional but unapologetic for the worker and ultimately unhelpful. I'm sorry to say that they lost business from a family of 4 today, due to the actions of phone staff who should not be employed in a customer service profession.

Went in there to buy new glasses and frames. Got them picked out and went to pay for them but there was one lady collecting money and people cutting in line. As busy as that store is they should be more organized. Canceled order and will be going to another place. Lost me as a customer!

Awesome visit today, was skeptical because of some unflattering reviews I read. But I should not have been. Wonderful staff, they were courteous and very thorough.Up to date, impressive equipment Dr Williston was great, took time to answer my questions as well as making very sound suggestions. The opticians W err very helpful in helping pick out new trendy glasses that I can't wait to get. I highly recommend them to everyone!!!

DR was very rude to me! I took the eye exam put contacts in, could not hardly see, they told me to give them a few days to adjust, I waited two days, went back was sitting in chair and told him my complaint, he said "You re were seeing ok when you left, I said no, i told you my vision was blurry and you said :you read the charts, basically took it as I was saying he did something wrong, when all I wanted was to be able to see!!

Past 2 visits we have dealt with rude staff at the check in desk and today was the last straw. Even though I confirmed my sons appointment via their text message, they said that we canceled the appointment. What a bunch of crap. The girl at the counter would not even look up to answer our questions or ask if we wanted to reschedule. To make a long story short, they lost 3 patients today.

Belk Eye Clinic has been the Best, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The amount of time that you wait is nothing, the staff is always so quick to call you back and take time to answer any and all questions. I have two children and myself that wear glasses or contacts we are self pay as well, and the prices of the visits and glasses are very reasonable! If you have any questions about becoming a patient with them, there is no question you will be pleased with all there services.

As always, everyone at Belk Eye Clinic is friendly and professional. There is little or no waiting before the examination begins. They are thorough, use the latest equipment (which means I didn't have to have drops) and answer all questions. I have the greatest respect for Dr. Belk; he goes out of his way to make sure you are cared for.

My experience was HORRIBLE! This was my daughter's first eye exam and the physician was very mean and rude to her. We made this appointment because she failed her eye exam for the first time in 11 years at her yearly well check up. This visit was not a "my daughter says she wants glasses visit"! The nurse's were very nice and understanding but upon his(Dr. Belk's) exam he called my daughter a liar and stated she was reading the alphabet lines wrong on PURPOSE just so she could get glasses. She is having trouble seeing up close as well as far away which includes the chalk board at school, her teachers have also stated she is having trouble seeing and he, as a physician, DID NOT take my child or her eye care seriously. I would not recommend any one take your child to see this physician because if your child is seriously having trouble seeing he will not take them seriously. He really hurt my daughter's feelings which is what really has me so angry. Two of my coworkers recommended me go see this physician but I will be spreading the word on how he treated my daughter and how he does not take his scope of practice seriously AT ALL!!!

We are very pleased to use this clinic for our family. Dr. Belk explains the retina and optic nerve pictures and provides a thorough exam. Referred my husband to a specialist because of eye pressure issues. Ultimately resulted in his having surgery. In addition, the majority of his staff is very friendly and courteous.
