The Customer service was out of this world. Helpful to the point of...is this true?! You bet it's true. My husband and I stopped in on a Thursday and I picked them up today. They fit wonderfully and I'm crazy over the bling. Plus we had a good time talking with the staff.

Don't judge them by their size! If you want unique design in frames, this is where you will get them. I've been coming here for the past 10-12 years and am always finding something new that no one else in town has. They have quirky and elegant and traditional styles and the best customer service! I don't have a face for the traditional style frames which make it very hard to find something I like that compliments my face. Every time I come in, they will special order frames in for me to try on until I find something that I'm happy with. Thank you Kent and Roxie!

I love them, they found the frames I wanted and 1 1/2 years later found a side piece to replace one I broke...my optometrist said that they were no longer available and I should pick out new glasses! They have a fabulous collection of frames including two retro ones I bought several years ago...very pleased!

I came here on a recommendation. This was by far the BEST experience I've ever had buying glasses. There's the standard nice-to-haves like water & coffee plus an amazing selection. Bonus I got a rose on my way out. Here's what really made the experience - outstanding customer service. Brett was helpful, knowledgeable, understood my face & fashion and he was very nice. I felt like I was getting glasses from a friend. He then turned around and had my glasses ready in like 30 minutes. Yeah. SAME DAY WALK OUT WITH YOUR NEW GLASSES. What kind of sorcery is this?! I will be driving across the cities to go here from here on out.

Eye wear communicates style and personality. With the appropriate amount of mad genius, the right frame + lens combo can truly transform a person. Speaking of mad genius, let's talk about Charlie. I've brought him two stunning frames. 1) Persol Eyeglasses 2) Shwood sunglasses. Now, these frames are stunning, like, I've sacrificed my contact lenses just to show-off these beautiful frames. So, I knew who ever worked on these NEEDED to know what s/he was doing. Well, Charlie doesn't only KNOW what he's doing, he pushes the limits! Both pairs of glasses came out of the Spectacle Shoppe customized to my liking. Whether it be adding an adjustable nose rest to a pair of luxury eyeglasses or implementing RX lenses inside a handmade wooden frame, Charlie defies the odds and surpasses all expectations. I tell you what, whether it's the personable atmosphere, wonderful service, or the mad genius Charlie and his artistic prowess, I can't help but say this place is the quintessential, one-stop-shoppe for eye wear. A true Twin Cities' treasure.

Completely blown away at the customer service. Free cookies, drinks and roses and didn't even charge me for my (minor) sunglasses repair. Would reccomend to anyone and would go back.

The most welcoming staff. Warm cookies and chocolate available with cold soft drinks as you browse their wide selection of frames. After picking one out, they had it delivered to the store and lens cut in the same day. A stunning example of fast and high quality service.

Spectacle Shoppe was so amazing. They have the best customer service. I was immediately greeted at the door and they helped me choose from a wide variety of classic to trendy styles. I took forever to decide and they were so patient and helpful. I love buying my classes there I will continue to buy my glasses there even though I live in a different city. They also give you a rose after your done! 5 STARS! LOVE THEM! Definitely recommending this place to my friends.

I came here on a recommendation (and, to be honest, because it's covered by my insurance). This was easily the best optometrist experience I've had - the doctor was happy to answer all my questions, and Brett's customer service is outstanding. He took the time to pick out several frames for me to try on based on my preferences and gave excellent feedback on each, and had my glasses ready within three days once I chose my frames. I had to go back to get the arms adjusted, and each time I returned he greeted me with a smile, attended to me immediately and gave me a rose on my way out. I can't recommend Spectacle Shoppe highly enough.

The Grand Avenue location is gorgeous! The minute I stepped inside, Greg, one of the awesome sales guys, pointed me in the direction of the PERFECT pair of red glasses out of Europe. The minute I put them on, I just knew they were 'mine'. The owners themselves are always in, the most personalized comfortable experience ever! I will never go anywhere else. They have great taste and are so talented at helping find the perfect pair for you. I broke my glasses right before a trip, freaking out I called them, they still had my prescription on file from at least two years ago and even overnighted my lenses before I even arrived at the shop to find my new frames. I LOVE THEM!
