Let me just say that if I could give them zero stars, I would.
I showed up for my appointment, just a basic once a year eye exam, 10 minutes early. Was told they no longer had my insurance information on file (both old and new). I gave them my new insurance and waited for one hour to see a doctor.
In the appointment I asked the doctor a couple of questions about the types of contacts I wear and if maybe there would be a different brand better suited to my current needs. She did some tests, asked some questions, and told me we could follow up in a week. I thought that was awesome. However, when I was done I was informed that they could not take my insurance (normal blue cross blue shield from work that covers eye), that I would be billed an additional $70 for the tests the doctor ran after I asked some innocent questions, which I was never told I was going to be charged for, then they made me pay in advance another $70 for the follow up visit I was to have the following week. I was never able to get to that visit due to scheduling conflicts and I am still having the hardest time getting a full refund for it.
I spoke to the manager after all this was done and was told not to worry about anything, that she would follow up with me about the insurance, etc.
Now, a year later I got an invoice saying I owe them $239! What kind of company does that?!? If you can go anywhere, do. I'll be taking my business elsewhere as well.
