My new place to buy my glasses. The employees give honest opinions and suggestions. They hold the glasses you want until you pick them up and they have very unique options. I have gotten 3 pairs in the last year and get compliments on all of them. Love this place

So glad I found this place! We went to a few spots to look for glasses and we found a couple that I liked at lenscrafters but decided to stop in here last minute just to double check. I found almost 10 pairs that I absolutely loved right away. The woman who helped us was really kind too. If you are getting new glasses, definitely stop here! They have a great selection.

Today is an amazing day because I can finally see! A friend referred me to Huxley Optical because she nicely stated that my readers I was wearing looked like they were falling apart. And I've been looking for a place to buy readers but just have never found the right place. Until today. I bought 3 pair from their Ridgedale Center location today, and couldn't be more pleased. The service was fantastic. There were so many awesome choices to choose from! I wanted every pair. He cleaned and adjusted them for me as well. I highly recommend this place!! OH - and it was a GREAT VALUE.

I was on a business trip and forgot my Felix Gray glasses at home. Strolling though the mall one afternoon on my lunch break and saw a store with a bunch of eye glasses. I wasn’t hopeful since the blue light filtering lenses are a newer thing. Sure enough Huxley Optical has them in stock...and Ilan was tremendously awesome and super-knowledgeable. Turns out my glasses from Huxley fit better than my Felix Grays, offer the same protection, and the lenses even look more normal and mask the fact that they are blue light filtering (if you have pair, you know what I mean— you can typically tell what kind of glasses they are). Anyway, I was super-thankful to find these guys when I did and was surprised how high-quality their product was...I’ll be back for another pair!

Best glasses store ever. They've got the best selection of glasses, locally based and sourced, high quality, great staff, and not to mention great prices. I got a pair of glasses with the computer lenses and it has been a night and day difference for my eyes. Got a great deal too, picked up some sunglasses as well and I paid less for the two combined than I would have paid for just my glasses anywhere else. Im never getting glasses anywhere else.

This is truly one of my favorite places to shop at, which is a really strange thing to say about a place that sells glasses. But I've been wearing glasses for 40 years now (since the 4th grade) and I've been to everywhere and tried everything and they are all, without question, a PITA. Except Huxley. First, I bought a neat pair of prescription sunglasses because I couldn't find anything I liked at Visionworks. Then, as my eyes are now old man eyes, I had an old pair of glasses turned into readers. Then another into progressives because I wasn't sure I was going to like wearing them, and didn't want to pay for a full pair. Later, I bought a new pair - a set of frames I constantly get compliments on (including at Visionworks when my wife was in for an eye exam) and now both my kids and my wife have just bought a pair for themselves. The selection of frames is not only fabulous (and constantly updating), but the service and knowledge of the staff and owners is always top notch. Honestly, I don't see myself ever buying glasses anywhere else. Locally owned and excellent service.

Huxley has the best selection of frames at great prices and the staff is great to work with. Even when I had a slight issue with a lens, they made sure they got it perfect and that I was happy. Thanks to Ryan at the Ridgedale location for the hard work, I love my latest pair of Huxley glasses!

The styles are really cool, I had a hard time choosing a pair! There were small hiccups in the ordering process but the staff was so friendly and apologetic. Unfortunately, the quality is on the lower end. They are similar to Warby Parker- the sides became loose after a couple months of wear, leading them to constantly slide down my nose. I adore eye glasses, but I would say these and my Parkers are not good quality compared to the ones I’ve purchased from various optometrists. 5 stars for style and service! 1 for quality
