Second time I've been at the auto repair shop and my appointment was not in their books. I am blessed because the gentleman that sign me in remembered that he made the appointment so he was able to find the original appointment, and the appointment for today they couldn't find it all. The service I received on March 29th when I originally went in was great. They did what I had asked, I didn't have any problem with that service. It seems they have a problem putting me in the appointment book, with the correct information when I know I have an appointment.
My last interaction was horrible. The two cashiers basically ignored me while discussing how many credit card applications he got on his shift since noon. Next the item I would purchased was on a rack that said item category was on clearance. The items on the other part weren't. The only signage was a blank clearance sign. I show the cashier instead of even acting sympathetic she was condescending. Forget that I'll go elsewhere.
Tamia the cashier was very pleasant and fast. Did a return with her and she also checked me out. Nice shopping trip.

FYI: Returns without receipt or credit card used to purchase items cannot be returned even if they have tags on it. Got some baby shower gifts we were hoping to exchanged and got shut down. Couldn't even get in store credit. Pretty surprised because I thought all retailers were doing this as long as tags were still on the items.

Sorry for the one star review, but I’m afraid that Sears has earned it. 30 years ago, customer service was good. Now it’s impossible to get help even if they have what you need. And this is in the tool department which should be a no brainer. Returns on craftsman tools have also gotten more stringent to the point I won’t buy them anymore. To add to this, we tried to buy a stove and refrigerator from them. They had nothing that would work with our kitchen in the price range we wanted.

I had to exchange my ratchet wrenches for the ratchet wrenches Sears had I feel the old style were better build. But online shopping causing many Sears stores to close. Had to drive one hour away from home to exchange them. Time sure have change!
Had to return a shirt I bought on Monday. The long sleeves didn't reveal themselves until I got it home!
Plenty of good buys if you dont mind waiting FOREVER to check out; there are very few cashiers. They couldnt possibly move any slower, seem to have no sense of time, and just yak for the entire transaction. I finally gave up after 40 minutes and walked away from my basketful of goodies. Slowest, yakkiest cashier ever! Gahhhhh!!
Shopping today for a few needed items was okay nothing to write home about however I am livid after large Appliance Department and the inability of Sears to repair a new $2,500 refrigerator in a timely basis have been without the refrigerator for 6 days now and have been told it could be another 7 to 10 to get parts and they won't schedule a repairment until they have the parts they actually had a repairman come out with no parts how does that happen you know the model and make before you get out here so that was a colossal waste of everyone's time I have pitched out $600 worth of food I haven't calculated the amount of the insulin and other medicine that needed to be refrigerated I will have to spend $500 to replace the food I don't know what it will cost yet to replace the insulin and other medicine how does the family go two weeks without a refrigerator it's not like it's a washer and dryer or someone could go to the laundromat we have already spent almost $600 eating out and every restaurant in this town sucks so that's like throwing money down the drain and still starving and hoping no one goes into a diabetic shock or coma was frankly I wish on every single person in your so-called repair division and what is up with your get human options I pulled that option up and the first thing I saw was please wait while our robot finds someone to connect you to what a f****** joke that was in my opinion when the repairman came out and immediately knew that the compressor the motor the fan the copper wire was toast the next day a new refrigerator should have been on the truck and delivered and this one that should have been hauled away or write a check for 5 grand so we can buy a refrigerator elsewhere and replace the food and Medicine well never ever buy an appliance from you again we have been loyal for decades and this is what we get for it there is absolutely no excuse for this none

They always have the tools and outdoor items that we need, but I do think they're extremely HIGH priced which is going to kill there business if they dont start lowering them to compete.

All I wanted was a blade for my craftsman mower that I bought there. No luck. The store is desolate and depressing. Not one employee asked if I needed help though one female employee walked right past me and asked a male if he needed help. So I finally found someone and they said all they have is what's on the shelf, which was practically nothing, and that they can order a blade but it would take 7-10 days!! Really? I wound up going to Home Depot.
I want to rate Sears a 5. I really do. I think Sears is a great store with great shopping programs. The people at this location are awesome. I won't name them by name but I have gotten such great service from most. Here is the problem...the store is huge and a bit messy. It can be hard to find things at times. I have had to go to places I didn't think I would have to in order to find items. The other big problem is the checkout process. While most other stores have a dedicated customer service for returns Sears does not. This has led to way too many delays here for me. Simple solution is to have dedicated returns. The shop your way program is awesome though. I still recommend this place even with it's flaws, if only for the people that work here.

This store is a mess, the staff are unprofessional, and the return policy is ridiculous! I hope no one ever buys a gift here for someone else because if they don't have the receipt they can no every return or even exchange it with no exceptions to the rule. And just so you know if they don't have a receipt they will be accused of stealing it, even if all the tags and stickers and everything are still on it. This store must have a serious theft problem with the way they treat each customer like they stole something. Why couldn't you exchange something for a different size of the exact same thing? Makes no sense. Its just poor customer service! Even if you had stolen it you would still be walking out with the same thing you came in with just in a different size. So disgusted with this company!

My husband and I ordered King size mattress and electric base. At first we were told delivery would be a week after purchase then we received a call that it would be two weeks due to manufacture. Ok so we accepted that although not happy about it but understood. They show up to deliver at the time they said they would mind u your not told the time until the evening before. They bring the bed and base into our home and get ready to leave. My husband asks if they were going to put it together as it's in pieces and needs to be put together correctly, the delivery man replies" we're not paid to do that and we don't have time". I was absolutely shocked considering we had a decent encounter with the sales staff. So not only to we have three days to ensure there is no issues with the bed my husband and I are both not going to attempt to put this bed together only to have it electronically malfunction because we were left putting it together. My husband calls and complains. They tell him tomorrow they will be out there. This is crazy. My husband and I had paid plans to be away this weekend and we have to wait on Sears. The customer service was terrible. Sears is already on the overpriced end unless u shop during a sale. Never again.

I was in Sears Thursday night and saw so much I liked (not JUST Lands' End) that I went back tonight with a little more money this this time. I'm tell'n 'ya, not at ALL like I remember. As far as women's clothing goes anyway. In my opinion, JC PENNEY's baseline (read as 'thrifty') sweatpants brand is far surpassed by Sears' Laura Scott brand. I got 2 pairs for $10 each, and again I say "WOW". Check them out for yourself...before they're gone? Now I'm really starting to think maybe I SHOULD be paid for this, lol.

The Shopping is good. But choices seems slightly limited, which could be my personal taste vs SEARS' prediction as to what people may want - or, could be due to the store is being shut down? As Sears is closing a lot of low producing stores. It is a bit sad to see that the viscious cycle 'store closing' can create. The stores may be low producing, so the head quarter decides to close stores, and the news causes people to shy away, thinking that the stores are closing... sad! Indeed, this store was very quiet, not too many shoppers. For me, it is good, as I hate crowded stores...

Asked for measurements for a dress shirt, and we were told they don't do that. That's fine, but we heard after being 30 feet away an employee exclaim "YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR OWN SIZE? REALLY???" It was incredibly rude. I understand why the company is going under .

There's hardly anyone around if I have any questions. Beginning this month they no longer accept AMEX which is the main card I use. I don't know why they don't shut the doors...

Confusing place, terrible separated Lands End section, bad credit application requires you to agree to texts and calls and other bank messages to you, and employee says oh they won’t contact you don’t worry honey. That is so fishy. This store, it’s no surprise it’s going down here and will soon feel completely as a business. Not kept up. The owner or CEO is milking this place for cash and doesn’t care about the quality is what I heard. Riiiiight

Drove 25 minutes each way today to exchange some back to school clothes my daughters grandmother had gotten her that didn't fit, to be disappointed. At first I walked in and the cashier said it wasn't going to be a problem exchanging the clothes for different sizes, but then once we came back up the cash register the gentleman was no longer at the register so I had to go to a different register to make the exchange. The second cashier all but accused me of stealing them and said if I couldn't prove that I paid for the items I couldn't exchange them for anything in the store, including the exact same thing in a different size. What a waste. I don't know where the receipt is and now she has 3 shirts and a pair of pants that are too small. And on top of that I drove almost an hour to get there and back, to get no where. Such poor customer service, no wonder this company seems to be going out of business. So disgusted by being accused of stealing just because I didn't have a receipt. Do they not know what gifts are!! I will not shop here again!

My daughter is 5'8" and has had a hard time finding clothes. She has been discouraged so much that all she does is turn around and walk out of stores. We have shopped at the Meridian Mall and the Tanger Mall. Sears is the only place she walked out with a huge bag of clothes. They have a big sale going on with lots of items at 60%. It looks like they are remodeling the place. My daughter doesn't want to shop anywhere else. Sears has our business!

It was dead In there. No customers . Only maybe 1 Associate. They had a broken cart in there. The wheel would make noise as you pushed it around.
This used to be one of my favorite stores. It’s nearly impossible to talk to a person when calling the store now. I tried three times yesterday. I’m not driving a half hour each way without confirming they have what I’m looking for. I guess it’s tome to convert my large cordless tools to another brand.

Yep,...here I am at Sears again. I came in to make my card payment and get some basement floor paint color matched...getting two cans....The store is older but well maintained.... The staff are customer service trained....thr seem to have a Manager who ask them to hit professional standards.

Great sale items. I got a great pair of shoes for $65, which was $20 off the normal price. Plus, I got $50 in-store credit. So I picked up a nice pair of dress pants for $25 and they said I could go back I believe after December 18th and spend the other $25 !!! Love that store...

I previously wrote a favorable review but alas Sears customer service has clearly gone downhill over the past year. This is a perfect example. I ordered an item online and chose to pick it up at this location which is nearly a 1 hour drive. When the item hadn't arrived when it was supposed to I called Sears customer service direct. They couldn't figure out what was going on with the order and told me to call the store. I called the store and lo and behold nobody answers the phones here anymore. I called all departments by the way. I kept trying this for several days and nothing. So I canceled my order but they would not return my money back. I had to file a dispute with the credit card. The whole experience was nothing but a hassle. Long story short, I've spent thousands of dollars between Sears/Kmart in the last two years alone, despite the fact that one can find more and at better prices just about anywhere. I've just learned to accept the fact that they are a failing company and shop elsewhere.
It's very sad to see the level of customer service in most brick-and-mortar stores nowadays. I recently shopped at 3 different places only to leave empty-handed. Due to poor customer service. Today I waited nearly fifteen minutes in line with only one person in front of me. Several other staff that were available that could have helped me. But they were a busy arranging shelves. I finally got discouraged and put my stuff down and left. It happened to be a holiday Memorial Day so I understand that they were operating with a few staff. But if you're going to be open you need to have enough staff to make sure the customers are taken care of in a timely manner. I had the same thing at Sprint earlier this week. And also at Kohl's.

Sears' customer service has declined significantly over the years. It's extremely hard to find personnel to assist and aid your shopping experience. I try to only go to the tool department when I visit, at least there I can find help when needed.
Excellent department store. Love the Land's End section. Easy in/easy out to just stop in to pick up whatever you need.
