This place is no joke! I went three different times to find the right frames and the gentleman who works there was super nice, knowledgeable and knows his trends! He even special ordered me a pair of Paul Smiths... impeccable service! A must go, seriously!

I can't buy glasses anywhere else now. Tom and his cohort are the best at helping me find frames that flatter my face, and their customer service is always exemplary. The worst thing about this shop is that it is so popular, if you go when it's busy you may have to wait a while for your turn with that stunning customer service, but it's worth it.

An industry insider gave me the name of Tom Collins from Market Square Optical Shoppe and said best retail and most fair prices. Well that was only the half of it. Great selection, great skill and great fair price for excellent products. I came to understand that not all lens are created equal and that Tom has vendors who produce the best grade possible for lens both in materials and coatings and RX. Winner on all fronts and great customer service in store. A must visit.

One specific thing I loved about this last order is Tom didn’t ask 1,000 Qs about options like lens thickness, antiscratch coatings, warranties, etc. He just included what he thought I’d want and he was right. Over 12 years ago, after shopping and trying on glasses all over the place and just not getting that "this is the one" feeling, I entered the Market Square Optical Shop. They have tons of affordable sunglasses! I got my first pair of bifocals this year and realized that as an outdoor aquatics director I need to be protecting my eyes. After walking out of lensecrafters in tears because they had one pair of frames that kind of fit my face but were ugly and $300 I felt hopeless. But Tom was kind and helpful and worked with me to find the perfect pair to fit my petite face. They sont break my bank, but still look good. And now I know that I can safely do my job this summer.

I can see with ease with progressive lenses with the transitions and anti-glare. I got two pairs ....an every day pair.... and a cool “fun” pair....with. Discount on the second pair. He just knew what style would look good on me. I ended up buying a pair of Kaenon Georgia sunglasses and absolutely love them. Two days later we went back because she was picking up glasses she ordered. Then I decided to get a pair of reading glasses.
