What an awesome shop. Stopped in to have a pair of glasses I bought in NYC adjusted about a year ago. The gentleman who came out to assist is an absolute pro. He returned in moments with my glasses looking better than new and fitting perfectly. No charge and a friendly smile. I’ve now been back twice to purchase beautiful eyeglasses and sunglasses (both by Matsuda). Everyone I’ve come in contact with is equally classy and professional including the wonderful owners. I won’t go elsewhere now, a small gesture of help goes a very long way. First class experience every time.

I am impressed by the courtesy each everyone shown at the store to me. I went there for repairing by glasses. They kept my glass overnight. Next day, I got a call to pick up my glasses. I asked about the repair charges. The answer was 'no charges'. I could not believe it. I would surely recommend them for your future glasses. We will go there when we need to change our glasses.

This review is long overdue. A good friend of mine was hospitalized at MGH, and his wife asked if I could find a place that could fix his old glasses, which were in really tough shape, held together with not much more than some tape and a prayer. I went to Eye Look. The gentleman there took one look at the glasses and said he would take care of them. When I returned to pick up what I thought would be a new pair, much to my amazement he was able to take the existing lenses and frames and make them look like new. They looked so good that when I gave them back to his wife, she thought that they were a new pair! And perhaps the nicest, and kindest part, was that he did this at no charge. This was such a warm and kind-hearted gesture, one that I shall never forget. Thank you, Eye Look.

I have been buying my glasses here for over 6 years and I come back from Woodstock to buy my new glasses .Paul and Nora are so gracious and kind and they have frames not seen anywhere else!

I had an appointment with Nora. I told her up front that I was shopping for new glasses just for work (IT so on the computer 7+ hours a day). Did not need readers, just mid range. She told me that I didn't understand and that they would give me what I needed. I pushed back, there was a tug of war. She finally said that I didn't understand and she would have her husband explain it to me. Then she told me to be open minded because she would suggest frames that might be different. The frames were absolutely not me, but she pushed with the "suggestion" that I just needed to be more "open minded". The frames were garish, like something an aging Italian contessa from a 1960s Fellini movie would wear. I left and overheard her husband trying to convince - and not listening to - another woman trying to convince her to buy two paris of glasses and keep both with her and swap them out. She was saying that wouldn't work for her, but he kept pushing. Very manipulative. I did not return. Dodged a bullet.

I'm outraged! I went in for a new eye exam and was interested in trying out contacts. I was given some training and I really struggled to work with them so decided they just weren't for me and to continue to use glasses. (Note: I just spend $1800 in the store not even a year ago and need them changing this year so they were still making money from me.) However, upon leaving I was presented with a bill for $325 for trying out the contacts and NOT buying them!! This is not including the usual fee for the testing etc. This is absolutely outrageous that they would charge such at amount for trying something out and not warn you at the beginning! I wouldn't go back here ever again it's terrible customer service to be presented with a bill like that.

We've been customers for 20 years - followed the owners from Winchester to Lexington. If you want the best selection of the highest quality product with first-rate customer service, this is the place. If you're not sure regarding a style, you can feel comfortable putting yourself in Paul or Nora's hands. They are artists with a discerning eye. This is not the same old/same old. Not inexpensive, but the best rarely is.

Just :WOW! My son had gotten his glasses broken at the temple while playing basketball, late Saturday. Of course, our eye doctor was closed. We went to 2 other shops before we found this one. All of them were nice enough, but no luck. Here, I was first off amazed that there were 4 staff members and each at their own work station, dealing directly with a customer. I perceived that they were taking their time and did everything to their customer's satisfaction. When it was our turn, we presented them with our situation. The woman that listen to us proposed replacing the temple part, if they could find a suitable replacement. Of course we would wait! Fifteen minutes later, a man named Nigo came out with her and they showed us the fixed glasses. WOW! Now they did all of this without an appointment, on the weekend, just before they were to close, and for free. A very impressive experience! Thank you!!!!

What a great assortment of beautiful glasses to choose from and superb customer service! I originally bought glasses here that did not work for me in terms of comfort. Paul, the owner, graciously reached out to me after several adjustments and offered to adjust them again or make me new glasses. I opted for a different style without nose pads Paul was so generous and gave me great customer service. I will now have a pair of glasses that will be so comfortable and are so very stylish! Love this place!!

While on vacation I rolled over in bed onto my glasses and bent them out of shape. I thought I might have to replace them, but when I visited Eye Look Optical he fixed them free of charge and they're now just like they were before. The whole experience was pleasant and professional and I'd definitely return in the future.
