There is also a wide selection of designer frames and sunglasses available. The doctors and staff create a very personal experience and help you find the right fit in eye care and eyewear for every budget and lifestyle. I've been going to Dr. Gallagher for years and she is practically family. The staff is big on continued education and they have the experience as well as the ability to stay on top of the industry. The location is further from me but my insurance basically made this location more affordable to me. I had no problem checking in but if you are going for contacts be aware of the small writing and extra cost associated with contacts. The Dr was very knowledgeable about my eyes and showing me examples of what he was looking for and how my eyes compared. I will say the staff that helps with your pair of glasses (picking it out) will look for what looks good on you, but make sure you look at the cost. I noticed when I picked out some inexpensive pairs of glasses and received "help", I ended up with glasses that cost near $400-$500 instead of $199. So just be mindful that you let people know what your price range is for glasses. I did end up saving over $300 at the end (showed a comparison of what you are paying vs what you would have paid without the discounts) It is not a bad location but definitely good for those who have insurance that works with this company where you can save a lot of money

I would highly recommend Prof. vision. My experience has been incredible and recently had a bit of a medical emergency. Dr. Bender who we always see…. Saw me immediately, she diagnosed me and referred me immediately to a specialists. I would highly recommend her and the company. I have been taking my children and myself and husband to Professional Vision for many years and feel the doctors are excellent as well as the staff and Chris who helps with choosing glasses. My only criticism is the price of the frames! With four children I find them to be very expensive and yet still compelled to buy them at Professional Vision because of loyalty though last visit I decided to go elsewhere to purchase frames. They need a better choice of frames for everyone especially children/boys!

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Marie Gallagher for over 15 years. She has been the most skillful, knowledgeable and caring eye doctor we have ever had the good fortune to work with. Under her care we have moved through the progressive stages of vision changes to include single vision correction lenses, to bifocal, to multi-focal eyeglasses, including transition lenses. She has also been able to fit me with multifocal contact lenses, even though I had a serious problem with dry eyes. Over these many years, she carefully examined, measured and tested our eyes, using the latest equipment, and advised us on issues of glaucoma, retinal tears and minor eye injuries which we had to deal with. She helped us identify when it was time for cataract surgery, and helped us decide and work with a good eye surgeon to perform the cataract removal procedure. On top of her excellent medical skills, Dr Gallagher has gone out of her way to make sure we could obtain appointments even when she had to juggle her schedule to accommodate our changing travel schedules.. Almost the best part - Dr Gallagher is such an upbeat and cheerful person, that even if you are having a bad day, she always seems to have a bright smile and a warm greeting ready to lift your spirits.

I had great experience last year. I got my glasses and they provided great service. So I decided to switch my kids prescription to this place. For my surprise it was totally changed place. Their working hours shows they are open till 5pm. I arrived at 4:30 pm. To start with person who checked in stares at watch as she checked in and gives a look at us. Then the person who worked on our prescription she did her best to complete the selection by 5. But the whole visit was not welcoming. They treated as if we are invading their privacy. I really don't understand if office hours listed open till 5 pm and I walked in at 4:30 if that's not acceptable they should mention last customer walk in time on website or recommend to take an appointment. Even my 10 year old felt that they are not welcoming and he asked me simple question why we switched from old place. I was not able to answer that question.

There was no confusion or problem when I initially contacted PV and they looked up my plan to determine what services, products and discounts I was eligible for. They did a really good job with my wife and son on our first visit and with me a week later. My husband has been wearing glasses for over 20 years. When he had his prescription made here the glasses were terrible. We went back almost immediately and they just kept saying that it was correct. After a couple visits we just decided to not waste our time anymore because they would not listen. About 9 months later my husband was laying in bed and for some reason held his glasses up backwards and low and behold everything was perfectly clear. It appears that they had flipped the prescription. We went back to let them know and again they just said it was correct and that his prescription must have changed. That would be a plausible explanation if the glasses had not been incorrect after day 1 his old glasses still work perfectly well. These guys overcharged us and then refused to make it right. I cannot say how unprofessional my experience has been.

I chose and confirmed a noon appointment via their text/email alerts several times, and arrived to find out I was somehow on their schedule for 3 pm. The lady assisting me showed it to the "manager" right from my cell phone. But she couldn't be bothered to help me or her own personnel. She barely glanced at my phone (with the correct appointment) and just said "I don't know" several times. Went back to chatting with her friend at the counter. At that point, it wasn't so much the error as it was the manager's handling of the matter. Quite an unprofessional response and you've now lost my business. A great doctor is one thing, but your support staff MAKES or BREAKS a patient's experience. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
