TERRIBLE!!!! These People Dont EVER pick up the phones! I honestly called More them 10 times! for someone to pick up just so she could be extremely rude!!! Monica i think was her name! Terrible costumer service! I will definitely not go there!! Ridiculous! You get paid and have a job by what costumers come in and spend in your office. You should be more appreciative of your job! We feed you!

I did not get any service/product from them, but I had to call due to sudden swollen eye. My friend's eye was severely swollen due to some allergic reaction. I didn't know what to do at first other than calling the nearest eye doctor. Although it was after working hour (5pm), the technician was very kind enough to talk me through what type of eye drops I should buy. Even though I am not a patient/customer, I was treated with care which means they really do care about you! Thanks for the help.

I had been managing this condition for ~3 years now under the care of a different doctor. I recently switched to Dr. Strier. She's been awesome. She took the time to listen to my concerns, explained my condition to me in plain english, taught me the relevant anatomy, then offered a suite of treatment options suited to my budget and level of frustration. It's nice having a doctor that listens and is willing to pursue aggressive treatment.

The woman Who answers the phone, I know her name however I do not want this review to be removed, Is quite possibly the most difficult person that I have ever had to deal with. Not only do they never answer the, But when they do they make it seem like every request you are making is above and beyond the normal scope of their job duties. I have never been talked down to like I have been spoken to by multiple members of the staff here. The real kicker? The doctors are All phenomenal.

I highly recommend anyone considering LASIK to go to the Baltimore Washington Eye Center. I was very nervous even thinking about getting the procedure done, but after my first phone conversation with Sharon I was excited to see if I was a candidate for the surgury. I was greeted at my consultation with a very helpful friendly staff. I found out I was a candidate and was excited to get it done! Dr. Spagnolo and staff are amazing. I have refered all my friends to the BW Eye Center. Dr. Spagnolo put me at ease and even called me later that day to check-in with me! I have never had a doctor do that before. I look forward to all my appointments, and Sharon is the sweetest person! Highly, Highly recommend!

I had my PRK surgery done on May 5th, 2017 by Dr. Spagnolo. I am going in today for my 3 month checkup. I have had a wonderful experience, I love my new eeyes everything feels HD. I recommend anyone who has though on having corrective I surgery to go to Baltimore Washington Eye Center, they will walk you through every step for what is the best option for you. Dr. Spagnolo and his team will take great care of you. Every step of the procedure will be explained, when following these steps you will have no problems with you eyes no discomfort at all. And if you do have problem you can get assistance anytime day or night. Dr. Spagnolo even calls you personally after you procedure just to see how your doing and make sure everything is okay ( I was still knocked out from the medication but he did leave a lovely message and checked on my again later in the day). I have been going the Baltimore Washington Eye center for years when I wore glasses and contact and I recommend all to go as well, it's a pleasant frendly environment and you will leave seeing clearly.

I had an eye emergency in the late evening, My daughter called BWEye for me and explained the situation to the doctor. The doctor called the office manager and told her to expect me first thing in the morning as an emergency. I was seen promptly and the doctor and staff were wonderfull. I feel they went above and beyond considering I was not a regular patient.

I was a patient of this facility for the last few years. I had my annual check-up appointment today and I went however, I cancelled my appointment per my arrival and registration check-in. The issue is that this office does NOT do secondary billing of insurance unless you pay them to do it and I am not going to do that. It is ludicrous. I am a retired federal employee with federal and Blue Cross/Blue Shield vision insurance in addition to Medicare and they will only except one of the insurances in order to see you for a routine examination. However, my husband is a patient there under my insurance coverage and he is NEVER charged a co-pay nor does he receive follow-up charges for his services there and no one can explain to me why I have to pay to be seen in their office when he doesn't!!! It is a financial billing mystery. While the office itself is a vision mining operation that is always overbooked I always recommended my friends and acquaintances in the area(and many of them used this facility for services ranging from routine exams to extensive eye surgeris. That will not ever happen again!!!

Especially Victoria who went over and beyond the call of duty to help me with getting a proper doctor's note for my work that did not seem to approve anything the staff repeatedly kept sending to them. Again, thank you so much for helping in this very difficult situation. As always, I think the staff has always been great and I love Dr. Strier.

Dr. Spagnolo, Erinn and the whole BWEye crew are awesome. I was nervous at first due to the nature of LASIK being eye surgery, but I was quickly put at ease once I contacted Erinn and met Dr. Spagnolo. The process was explained to me and the consultation visit was a couple of hours, however, it was very thorough and everything was checked and I was a candidate. The surgery day was a couple of days later and my experience was top notch, a lot of folks get nervous, but it really is not that bad and the surgery was done before I knew it. My recovery has been great thus far and I am keeping up with my drops and protective eyewear at night. I am extremely happy with my improvement in vision, and will recommend this surgery to anyone who wears glasses or contacts. Thank you again BWEye!

I have going here for years to have Dr. Spagnolo take care of my eyes. My age and health conditions dictate I get my eyes checked annually and Dr. Spagnolo stays right on top of my eye health. He gives me my current prescription and I get my new glasses yet there. I could not be happier with the friendly, professional care.

Billed wrong insurance account, argued that I had a copay. Bill had an 800 number for yet another insurance company. Their Billing Department needs some help and some customer respect. Doctors and technical staff are wonderful !! Not acceptable: Not discussing insurance options with patient and assuring that health insurance will cover exam, then sending a bill for what would have been covered in full if they'd billed the correct insurance is not acceptable; a terrible business practice. :(

Very smooth, stress free experience. For all of those who say that they would love to get Lasik or PRK but have fears, Baltimore Washington Eye Center is the place to go. Dr. Spagnolo and his staff are knowledgeable, professional and kind. I knew that there was nothing to worry about under their care. I'm typing this 4 days post op and my vision is getting better by the day. If you're thinking about it, call them for a consultation. I highly recommend it!

BWEye Center has been my family's eye care provider for over 15 years, Dr. Strier has been our provider and she is great. I would highly recommend this eye care center to anyone in the Anne Arundel County area. They also have an office in Clarkesville, MD.

I had been contemplating having lasik for a while. Set up an appointment just to check it out...Dr Spagnolo and his team were awesome. In less than 2 weeks I had lasik and am very happy. It's been 2 weeks and everything is still wonderful. Highly recommend the team at BWEye! They are a caring team.

Dr. Spagnolo and his team are excellent at their jobs, as well as providing great customer service. I recently got Lasik done and am more than pleased with the whole experience. Dr. Spagnolo is very personable and thorough. He is always upbeat and willing to answer any questions throughout the process. After not feeling well after cutting the flaps for Lasik he was very calming and in no rush to get the procedure complete until I was comfortable doing so. I highly recommend them.

Had laser cataract surgery done on my left eye and will have right eye done in two weeks. This is one of the most professional places I have ever been to. Can't wait until I can see out of both eyes without wearing glasses, something I have had to do for the last 51 years. Dr. Bentancourt and his staff rocks!!

Just had Lasik done with Dr. Spagnolo and I couldn't be happier. To start -- the staff is absolutely amazing. Amber was quick to respond to all questions ahead of time and was so helpful with prep/easing nerves, etc. The Lasik team is extremely professional and created a safe and comfortable environment. I was in and out of the practice for my surgery within the hour!! My vision is 20/20 and had 0 complications! I have been going to BWEye for years and highly recommend the practice and Dr. Spagnolo for all eye/Lasik needs!

The doctor we saw the first time she had an eye exam was a bit impatient with my daughter... she was scared and the doc seemed annoyed when she couldn't get her to sit still. Not so great with kids- but she got the job done. There are a couple docs there though, so that may have just been my experience. The Optical center was amazing dealing with my 6 year old, they adjusted her glasses when needed, sent out for repairs, and were just pleasant to deal with.

I was pretty nervous going in for LASIK, but I knew it was something I really wanted to do. Dr. Spagnolo and his team put those worries to rest with their professionalism and patience. He explained every step of the process and his sense of humor and positive personality helped to keep me calm during the procedure. All in all, it was a far better experience than I expected. 10/10 would recommend.

Dr. Spagnolo and his staff were extraordinary. I had PRK and the recovery days where a little rough but his office and staff where available when needed and Dr. Spagnolo called to check up on me. My vision is already 20/20 after one week of PRK and in the next two months it could even get better.

I had my father in to see the eye Dr. Today and he has a learning disability he can not read or write . He was there to get his drivers license eye test . My Dr get his drivers license renewed because it makes him have self a stem. He does not drive . Well the Dr said to his staff out in the hall that old man don't need to drive who is he to hurt my dad like that he has lived a life of hell with not reading and writing . My son who is 33 yrs old was in the back with him and he could not say nothing because it would of been hell on earth he did not tell me til we were on hosp drive in the car. My dad did not talk all the way home . How dare you hurt a handicap persons felling like that . I am so upset it is not your place to say anything my dad holds his license and looks at them why take them away he will not be here much longer with us and you hurt him and we are very hurt that a doctor would talk about him like that . All the doctor needed to do is say hey you no maybe you need to think about slowing down and not driving no more but he said nothing to him he went out of his room and said it to the workers so my dad and son could hear . You are a let down. Low life. You don't know what and why we got his license all you needed to do was ask . We will never be back to you. My dad is now not talking and is withdrawing from us because you put him down . You needed to be glad I was not in the back because I would of put you in your place little boy. This girl don't play when it comes to her sick daddy . I hope you love one goes thru what my dad's is going thru

I showed up for my INR for my contacts at 1:20pm, the appointment time I made when I was last there for my normal visit, and came to find out my appointment was changed to 2:30pm. The staff repeatedly talked about me being early like I couldn’t hear them and like it was a bad thing, and it made me feel extremely unwelcome and wary about going back. I’ve had Dr. Strier for as long as I can remember but now I want to change because I feel uncomfortable at their Glen Burnie location.

Dr. Spagnolo and his staff are pretty amazing. I went there for LASIK surgery and my experience was very stress free and effortless. They handled everything! I never waited longer than 10 min to be seen and everyone was very comforting and professional during my treatment and follow-ups. I truly recommend the Glen Burnie location. I have been going to BWeye for several years and I have not always been happy with the 1st person I have speak with. The doctor is great and the others who prep you before seeing the doctor are great as well but the person who setups appointments and is behind the greeting desk is not very professional. I have had the same experience in the past 3 years. Be prepared. I informed them of this at last years appointment of how the person behind the desk is rude. Today I made an appointment and again I was greeted over the phone with rudeness. The person(Cathy) on the phone tries to hide it but it still comes through. I almost hung up to call a different place to make an appointment but didn't. I also had a problem with billing last year where I had something they said wasn't covered and told them twice to bill my eye insurance since they billed my BCBS for this visit. The second time they must had took care of it because I didn't heard back. I will probably get a response from BWEYE about this to contact them but I will be letting them know of how I felt I was not getting the best customer service over my call I had to make the appointment. Cathy didn't sound like she wanted to make this appointment for me.
