Berrie's is the BEST!! I have been a customer for more years then I will reveal (I'm so vain!), and i must say they have always...always exceeded my expectations. Their glasses have always been fashionable and of the highest quality. There has never been a reason to complain or to be disappointed.... If something wasn't right it was addressed and fixed. The hearing aids are outstanding and always the best available, The Resound Brand is really remarkable. The features of the aids and the accessories offered, are truly amazing! Berrie's always seems to have exactly what I need to address my needs AND my "indulgences". If you need sight or hearing help...BERRIE'S IS THE PLACE TO GO!

Anna is a well qualified audiologist - warm, friendly and welcoming - and is always available to adjust our hearing aids if need be. Michael is a warm and witty man with exceptional taste in eyewear - not to mention the patience of a saint. The selection of eyewear is exceptional - never run-of-the-mill styles! I am from Indianapolis and bought sunglasses at a discount glasses business before my trip to Maine. I had lost my good sunglasses and needed replacements quickly. Unfortunately the new ones fit poorly and the lens were so distorted I could not walk straight and driving was awful. Now my regular glasses were sliding down my nose...my glasses situation was an optical nightmare. I stopped by Berrie’s without an appointment to see if I could buy new sunnies and possibly new glasses. The team at Berrie’s was delightful. And the advice and personal service I received was amazing. I walked out with my regular glasses fitting better than the day I got them and with sunglass clip ons to tide me over until I return home in a few weeks. If I didn’t live so far away this is where I would purchase my glasses! Thank you Michael Cartwright and new receptionist, Julia. You were both awesome.

Dr. Anna Strange at Berries Hearing and Optical Center is amazing. Her knowledge of hearing issues and potential remediation is vast. I have been fitted with a set of hearing aids that surpassed my expectations. After years of purchasing hearing aids that did nothing for me, Dr Strange recommended ReSound hearing aids from her offerings that interface with my smart phone giving me an amazing amount of control over volume, clarity and noise reduction in specific locations. .The aids have improved my ability to understand speech both in person and on the phone. Well worth the cost of the hearing aids and follow up visits with Dr Strange that tweak the input and compression of sounds to a lower frequency making sounds I couldn't hear before audible.

Berries is “berry” good to me! I detest hearing aids, but Dr. Anna helped me to understand why I need to wear them every day, even when I am alone, so I became hooked on her rationale and proceeded to lose several of them. Dr. Anna again helped to find a way to tweak old aids at far less expense than buying a new one. And recently when I couldn’t hear through one of them, despite inserting new batteries, Michael kindly took it apart, cleaned the inside and outside so it works perfectly, and at no charge for the service. Both Michael and Dr. Anna have been a tremendous help over the past five years in tending to my every question and need. They are the epitome of caring and compassion, which means I now hear better.

My father-in-law is hearing out of his hearing aids properly for the first time in months (we should have bought them here). Anna fixed him up even though they were purchased elsewhere. Not your fault but the DRs no matter what. I showed up yesterday 15 min early to my appointment (I hate being late) I check in the receptionist said she is out of the office doing something at the moment. Ok Fine she still has 15 minutes before my appointment. 5 Minutes before my appointment she shows back up. Looks at me and my 11 month old and walks on by never greating us. Great an appointment that is on time. WRONG! She come in grabs her lunch and starts eating on the other side where I am waiting. Just as my 1pm appointment should be starting. 15 minutes pass and I guess it is still lunch time. So I walk back and tell them I would like to cancel my appointment. When you have children with you the last thing you want is you appointment pushed back because of her not planning lunch between appointments. When I showed up to check in there was no one else but the receptionist in the building. She could plan her schedule a little better.
