Do NOT go to the Optometrist in this place. She is rude and is running an assembly line business. If you have Health ins. and Vision Ins. they WILL charge your Health ins. with a Higher copay. So wrong and unethical. This place is ALLLLLLLLL about making the most money they can. Front desk worker was very rude and rolling her eyes constantly. So unprofessional !!!!!

I have had good and definitely bad experiences at eyewear express but today i will give a full 5 stars because seriously the employees were so kind. I called late cause i broke my glasses and have to drive 7 hours tonight. They had my perscription on file and since i had a warranty, a new pair was TOTALLY free! Which is enough to dance about right there but the best part is when they told me my glasses would be done tomorrow i panicked. I told them my situation and the employees talked to the lab manager and they graciously offered to have my glasses finished for me within an hour. They were also quite busy at the time so for them to fit me in like it was nothing was so kind. I can't get over the amazing service i had today. Even after it took me forever to find frames that i liked, 2 workers gladly helped me find which ones were best for my face and were so extremely patient with me. I am so happy with my new glasses! Thank you eyewear express!!! Thank you thank you, you are a life saver!

This place is excellent for low prescriptions if you have a bad hi index make sure that you get top-of-the-line lenses because they're cheap lenses are thick and bottle glass looking. Nice people never had any trouble with them.

I went to Eyewear express to purchase safety glasses that I am required to use in my line of work. They had the style that I wanted (finally). I picked out the frame and gave it to a employee. I told her I was going to have an eye exam in the same office. I was done with the eye exam within 40 minutes of signing in. I immediately went and gave my prescription to the associate. I asked if these could be done in one day I had told her that I was going out of town on Monday. The attendant said yes. I decided since I had to wait I would look at additional frames. I found some nice frame less glasses. We sat down and started discussing options. She informed me that the frame less glasses would take a week to get. I didn't have a problem with that that time frame. She then told me that the safety glasses would not be done until Monday. That was because they were already shutting down the lab. I almost flipped my lid! I had told them before I got the exam that I needed those frame the same day. When I get back in town those glasses and frames better be correct and have no defects.

The service here was fantastic. We were expecting to wait at least an hour, so we went across the a shopping center. Within 10 minutes of being in a store we received a text letting us know my daughter's 1st pair was already finished. A few minutes later the 2nd pair was ready. They are a well run store with great selection and great staff. 2 pairs of nice progressive lenses with 1 pair having blue light protection cost about $250. For comparison, my last pair at Walmart cost $387. No second pair. If you don't get special coating, you can get your glasses in one hour. Mine were ready in 27 minutes!

Our experience was A+. The exam was about $100 without dilation (but with cimplications). Carrie was absolutely the best at helping pick out the glasses. All of the ladies were super friendly and very helpful. I take all reviews into account before I go to a new business so I compared this business with others and ultimately decided in this one. The Asian receptionist that has negative reviews is abrupt but not necessarily rude. I would recommened Eyewear expeess.

I've worn contact lenses most of my life, and have never had them get stuck in my eyes. One of the lenses had been in for 3 days and the other for 2. I called the exam side to see if they could help. I was told to come in as a walk-in. I didn't have to wait long at all. The nurse was able to painlessly remove both lenses. I can't tell you how great it felt to get them out! There was no charge, and everyone was helpful, professional, and nice. Awesome job and thank you!!

I can’t even begin to explain my most recent experience with Eyewear Express in Lafayette, La! I not only receive two new pair of glasses in less than an hour, but I also only paid $60! They were having a great sale, Buy Two Get One for $10! The ironic part is I recently purchased two pair of glasses (long story) a few months ago WITH INSURANCE and paid twice as much!

When I went it was three black ladies. One young lady, one old lady, and one around her 40's who asked me if I needed any help as soon as I stepped foot in the building. She was VERY LOUD. Infact she was VERY LOUD about the entire service until I talked to her in a very quiet tone letting her know she TALKS TOO LOUD! These kind of appointments are PERSONAL and my business and other customer business is PRIVATE. She's not following HIPPA'S LAWS at all. I have an allowance of a $100 for eyewear and she rigged my glasses payment to where I had to come out of pocket for the remainder of the payment. I've read and heard that at some places they are trained to upsell and depending on who's the manager or owner UPSELL IS REQUIRED and could get them FIRED. It seems I was an UPSELL because she told me if I didn't get the poly carbon my glasses would be outrageously thick because my prescription was very high but I still chose not too. So I guess when she put in colds she manipulated the system and I still ended up coming out of pocket. I see and feel that she is too boisterous and aggressive. She only toned it down when I started talking about GOD to another customer. She might need to work in another career where she could use both of those character traits! The black ladies were sitting there gossiping about something and the younger one kept scratching her head. The younger one seemed to have a don't care demeanor. She said my glasses would be ready by the afternoon and it was early morning but that was no problem. However, I received a text an hour it wolater saying it was ready. Another lady fitted them but I feel like my glasses were rushed. My prescription is high and the prescription in my glasses is no different from my regular sight. Be careful out there folks. Pay close attention to what people are doing. Most people care more about getting THE SALE and making money than REALLY HELPING PEOPLE and SATISFYING CUSTOMERS! I need to have my glasses checked to see if they match my prescription and then that'll tell me if I was right or just assumed about my glasses.

Try to charge you for a medical exam instead of eye exam. Well maybe that's the independent optometrist that they let worm in as the dr. Dont go unless you already have a prescription from a different Dr.

She was very helpful and made several suggestions after we talked a minute. She immediately showed me frames that worked well with my face, eyebrows, and coloring. This is about the doctor in office. The office staff didnt inform that my visit could go under medical instead of my vission coverage. When doctor saw it was a medical issues, she didnt inform me that my nedical coverage would be charged. I had to come out of pocket 100's of dollars and was not informed. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. She was not friendly and her staff was did not give upfront information. When i stated i wanted to complain the office manager didn't even want to speak with me, not professional at all........

Got some glasses here for $125. It made everything curvy . They told me I had to go to my doctor again. I went and doctor gave me the same prescription. I went back to get this remade or refunded but they don’t accept. I was very calm all the way but the staff was rude.
