Best Eyeglass World experience, my parents have an appointment at 10 am, for adjustments on their new eye glasses, Michelle Thomas, GM, and Barbara Scott, Eye Tech, gave outstanding service, they attend to all my parents needs, and went above and beyond to make sure my parents are satisfied with their visit. I want to thank Michelle and Barbara for their outstanding service. I highly recommend giving this place a visit for all your eye glass needs.

I had the worst experience with this company. They are rude, very unprofessional, they over talk you, no one knows anything. I had to her a pair of lenses made 3 times, due to horrible quality. I was reffered to while standing in line quietly as "This Female", that was the most disrespectful thing I have ever heard. Just horrible!!! I could write a book about this but I am keeping this short, this is just a small piece of what really happened.

While the staff us amazing, this is the second year in a row that my lenses have not been done right. First time is a mistake, 2nd time shows poor processes in their lab. *Follow up....Spoke to Manager Rodney this morning...was told "all I can tell you is if they are shipped out today that they will be here tomorrow." No customer service whatsoever. Won't be going back for a third attempt.

My experience at this place was horrible. The reciptionist was horribly rude and would rather sit at her desk and play games then help the customers. The Doctor himself was also very rude and gave me mixed information. He told me to come back in 3 weeks then said he would have never said that. He made me pay for BOTH appts. I was so pissed that my "corrected" vision was still terrible. He told me it was because my eyes were damaged on not his fault. I then immediately went to Dr. Chan's at ABQ Eyecare and she told me my eyes were not damaged and re-corrected my prescription on the spot. There was a huge difference. The doctor at Eyeglass world is unprofessional and the staff is rude and nasty. Stay FAR AWAY from this place!

This was the best experience I have ever had with contacts. I was late but they still had me in and out in 20 minutes. Tom payne and Allison were amazing. They used my insurance the best way possible and got me everything I needed for 15 bucks!! I will be a customer for life

Doctor was fine and friendly, and Eyeglass World offers timely same day service. My issue was with the eyeglass technician. The tall black man who took care of fitting my glasses was like a used car salesman. Very aggressive, adding on features and costs to the sunglasses even though I said NO I DO NOT WANT THIS. He did not listen , even in the end I ended up paying for UV tinted glasses, although my prescription is to wear glasses only at night while driving (WHEN THERE IS NO UV). He said I had to get it.

I had heard good things about eyeglass world so I went Saturday to get glasses. I walked in and there was a girl waiting on a customer so I thought I would just look around until she was done. A lady came in and went up to the desk where the gentlemen that worked in the back with the Dr. had just came up to get something. He was talking to her when a gentleman and daughter came in and another girl came from the back and asked them if she could help them. I had been there for about 20 minutes. No one asked me if they could help me or even acted like I was there. I finally left. I won't go back and I advise anyone else to go somewhere else.

DON'T GO HERE!! YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF ELSEWHERE, PLEASE TAKE IT FROM ME I was AMAZED at the lack of professionalism displayed by Rodney, the manager. Yes, THE MANAGER! He is next up to help us and takes my wife's prescription in hand, without a polite greeting or anything. He looks at the script and very loudly says, "WHOA!", and then spews air out of his mouth in disgust at how STRONG my wife's prescription is. I know it was the strength of the script that floored him, because I asked what that was all about. There were other customers around, and it is very unprofessional, unethical and unacceptable to gasp at someone's medical condition, even a strong prescription. I am a medical professional myself, and this is simply unacceptable when it comes to patient privacy, not to mention general professionalism in a position of high standards. My wife felt embarrassed and belittled. AND THAT'S NOT EVEN THE LAST OF IT. We sat down with our frames of choice, and in the middle of the quote, Rodney takes a phone call at the same desk, and is chatting about his personal life, a non-business related call, without further acknowledgement of our existence. He was slumped over in the chair, phone between ear and shoulder, talking about the bbq he is having later. We got up, walked out and he didn't so much as nod his head at us, look at us or say anything. He just kept talking on the phone. DON'T GO HERE!! YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF ELSEWHERE, PLEASE TAKE IT FROM ME

I had an amazing experience with Kristi Watchorn at Eyeglass World in North Charleston. I have tried to wear glasses over the years and have never been successful. I thought now that I am much older I would try contacts. I had difficultly having never worn contacts before and having a difficult prescription. Kristi never made me feel like a nuisance and was completely patient with me. Most providers would of lost patience a long time ago on a difficult problem child like myself. I would highly recommend her to anybody. They also saw my daughter and they did a great job on making her glasses so she could quickly return to college.

The "doctor" was not welcoming, he made it seem like I was interrupting his with my appointment, he rushed through the exam, I was not in the exam room longer than 10 minutes. He barely let me say which slide was better to see from. His staff, was ok, the female was short and rushing everything, however the male was a more personable and easy to talk to. I would not recommend anyone going to see the doctor, unless they are in a rush and liked to be treated as nothing. The eyeglass side of it was phenomenal! The assistant manager helped me out when I finally settled on the glasses I liked, and answered all my questions. When I picked up my glasses, the gentleman was extremely kind and helpful.I would definitely purchase glasses from them again.

The Doctor went above and beyond my expectations. I was visiting Albuquerque and required urgent eye care. Dr. Rastogi was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Anyone in Albuquerque who is looking for an eye doctor should definitely go and see him!

I went in and order 3 pairs of glasses. 2 regular pairs and a pair of RayBan prescription sunglasses. The sunglasses were ready the same day. They told me my regular pairs had to be ordered and it would take about a week. Well here we are two weeks later so I call and they tell me one pair is in but not the others.

Don't risk you eye health, or money by going here. The contacts doctor, short man with dark hair and a beard was VERY rude and unprofessional. Extremely pushy, and impatient while doing the eye exam in the room with no apathy towards getting the right perception. Horrible experience, dont go here.

I've been a happy customer for years. The optometrist is friendly and knowledgeable. She took great care to help me with my complicated prescription. They have a nice selection of designer frames on the floor, however, when I was struggling to find the perfect pair, they pulled out the "black box," a private collection of high end fashion brands. My Versace frames are so perfect! So if you're looking for really high design, they've got it in the back...you just have to ask.

This was only my second experience having to pick out glasses. I was so nervous and worried that I wouldn’t be able to find a pair that I truly liked. I had help from the AMAZING Allison and ended up picking two frames that she grabbed as soon as I told her what I was looking for. She explained every detail I needed to know related to my insurance and paying for the glasses. I love my new glasses and wouldn’t have left feeling the way I did without her help!!

I went to the high-end stores to see what my "dream glasses" would be if my budget wasn't a concern. I went to Walmart and Sears for the basement bargains. Then I realized I only needed to go to Eyeglass World at 4200 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM--I got personalized service that fit my budget and I couldn't be more happy. Ask for Rodney--he is a mix of fashion consultant, scientist, financial planner--all wrapped into one great guy who made the process easy and with the results I needed. I will return to get a third pair (I purchased glasses and prescription shades) based on the savings and great service. NOTE: I read other criticisms of Rodney in other reviews. Often times customers do not want professional advice, they don't want help--go anywhere if that is your low standard. If you have style and personalized needs for your eyewear--to see better without any drawbacks from the wrong type of glasses, then don't use a professional consultant like the staff at Eyeglass World. For me I stand those who provide that hard-to-find old fashion customer service.

My prescription was so illegible that I had to call multiple times for correction. When I did, they told me that I would need to come back in for corrections, despite informing them that I live over an hour away. I had to call corporate customer service for anything to be done, and I still do not have an accurate prescription. I guess I should have known better to trust a $50 eye exam from a corporate provider. Incredibly rude and incompetent. Do not recommend.

I do not recommend this place. The doctors are friendly but that’s about it. The girls working here are rude and instead of helping patients sit and gossip. I took a chance and made an appointment here instead of the place I used to go to and I regret doing so. I was told my prescription would cost me a little over $200 and I ended up paying $400+ dollars which was fine what bothered me most was the girls working there so unprofessional if you don’t like your job look for another one people are paying money.

When we originally went to Eyeglass World a year ago, we were SO, SO happy with their service. My boyfriend's glasses broke on a Friday night and without them he's blind, so we showed up helpless on a Saturday morning and were promptly helped. I have the business card of the girl that helped us and THAT is the only person I will be calling when we are ready for new glasses. She was SO kind. We both work in customer service, so kindness is a big thing for us. Today I called to see how we were to go about getting his prescription number, as he is going to order some prescription sunglasses from an online boutique and the woman not only wasn't helpful at all, but wasn't kind and quickly hung up on me. If you are the employee in charge of answering the phones at your work, kindness should be your NUMBER ONE priority.

Eyeglass World is 5 stars for me!!! I bought my glasses in July and broke both pair, thank goodness I got the warranty! I came in this morning and Tony Price was wonderful. He fixed one pair and put new lenses in it too. The other pair got ran over by a car so he could not fix them. Even better I got a new pair and this all was done less that an hour!! Thank you for the GREAT customer service!!!

Purchased 3 pair of glasses and paid over $700.00 on my side as well as what they filed with my insurance in early December 2016 and here it is the end of January 2017 and I still do not have 2 pair of my glasses. 1st prescription written was incorrect and the store manager changed the lens in one eye. Remade glasses and 2nd prescription was incorrect resulting in severe headaches. 3rd prescription and 3rd eye examine one eye only by the way and Optometrist blames Manager, Manager blames Optometrist. Corporate says the Optometrist is not affiliated with the store. 10+ trips back to this store and numerous excuses by the staff. No one knows what is going on and not a single call back from the Store Manager. My time and travels back and forth over this situation have been severely taken for granted and I am frustrated and furious. This week I reached out to Customer Service at the Corporate Office and was given the District Managers number which only goes to voice mail. Called and left a couple of messages for him and as of today no return call from him either. What a fiasco!

Worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. Poorly run location. It doesn't take long to realize this company is having trouble keeping things organized, just look at their signup form. It is hard to read and looks like it was the result of photocopying a bunch of other business' forms together. Unfortunately their prescriptions are just as hard for the employees to read, which means you'll rarely end up with the right contact lenses. If you try to ask them to correct the illegible prescription, you'll always get the answer that "they don't have past prescriptions on file for reference", or they'll just deny it altogether when you try to tell them the pair you had before was a completely different type. Apparently irritated, dry eyes aren't enough proof for them to show a little common courtesy either, even though your lenses may only cost $30 for them to replace. This business won't last running things this way, they need to change their act. Between a $30 write-off and a very displeased customer, they made a very poor decision.

I've always had a great experience! They maintain their staff for a long time so you actually get to know the employees. They are so friendly! I wouldn't go anywhere else. The glasses are inexpensive and of good quality. The manager, Michelle goes above and beyond for the customers. Honestly, my whole family gets their glasses here. Their eye glass doctor is great too. They have top of the line equipment and if you want a perfect prescription, this is the place to go. Very happy with Eye Glass World.

Dr. Rastogi and his staff are terrible. His staff is extremely rude. I have a current prescription from Dr. Rastogi and I ordered contacts from an online website and those would take 2 weeks to get to me (and what is it there Damn business who I order my contacts with). I lost my last pair of contacts and I asked them to BUY a trial pair of contacts while I wait for the mail order ones. The rude girl on the phone told me no because I didn't order the contacts from them. I am their customer/patient who has spent a lot of money with them on exams and fittings etc .You think they would help me! Of course not because all they see is $ signs not people.

Leaving one star because it won't let me post with none. I've been calling for over 30 minutes now for a total of 9 times. The phone rings and rings and rings, then someone picks it up and ends the call. Seriously? It's not even 5:00PM it says you are open till 7:00pm. Even IF you were the best Optical center in ABQ I will be taking my business elsewhere. What kind of company doesn't answer phones or just hangs up on customers? Get your business together.

I came in close to closing to first see if they could fix my glasses. I was met with ,"We're closed" from a dark haired, muddled aged woman. A young man came forward and looked at my glasses, stating they could not be fixed. Since it was so close to closing I inquired whether I could leave them and come back tomorrow. The woman, very tersely stated, "you can take them with you" and instructed, very rudly, to another young man to lock the door. I thanked the young man for his time and left. To say I was upset, is an understatement. This woman was beyond rude. I came to Eyeglass World on a recommendation, but will certainly not make that recommendation to anyone else. I see from other reviews that this woman has been very rude to other customers. Customer service should be your priority and it doesn't appear to be.

When I walked in I was immediately greeted by numerous employees. Thereafter, I was immediately assisted by Salina and Anthony ("Tony") and they were extremely helpful! I went to look for new frames really not knowing what I wanted; and I had a limited amount of time to complete my transaction. Before I knew it Tony and Salina had picked out several frames they thought would fit my needs. Their selections were the perfect fit and in fact, I left with two pairs. Tony was able to complete my order with plenty of time to spare. I returned just a few hours later and both pair were ready and off I went. I highly recommend Eye Glass World, but more importanly I highly recommend you see Salina and Tony!

I just picked up my two sets of prescription glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses today. Got a great deal on some very nice frames, and the girl who helped me was very nice. I was expecting the 2 pair for $78 to be not such great frames, I was wrong, they have a great selection of frames for that price. My glasses give me perfect vision, all 3 of them. I couldn't be more pleased.

I was treated very well and was very pleased with all parts of my experience from the greeting at the door to the exam to my glasses being fitted. Everything was explained well, no pressure to purchase upgraded frames. I could not be more pleased to have my exam completed and glasses fitted perfectly in less then 4 hours. Great team!

I visited eyeglass world on Labor Day weekend three times first time for glasses then a second time to get designers instead then the third time my eye doctor got the prescription wrong so I had to go back and get the right prescription lens on my glasses, to make a long story short eyeglass world worked with me and made everything just awesome even though nothing was their fault if I could give them more than five stars I would, thank you eyeglass world staff.

I came in with my partner, had the eye exam and everything else. The eye doctor hadn't said one word about what the problem was in her eyes, and the prescription said she was farsighted. Knowing my girlfriend, and what she says her sight problem is she would be nearsighted. I asked the back desk where you sit for your appointment, and the only response I got was " you're coming off very aggressive " I must have had too strong of a tone.This led me to just turn around and leave. I wouldn't recommend coming here. The customer service wasn't the greatest, and on top of that the employee obviously have no idea what she was talking about.

I had insurance forced on my bill, but not scratch resistance. I was told their glass were already scratch resistant, they lie!! These are the worst glasses of my lifetime and I've been wearing glasses since I was a child. I will NEVER do business with eyeglass world EVER AGAIN. Don't be fooled by their $78 carrot, it's all snake oil. I paid $450 for 2 pair of REALLY REALLY CHEAP glasses. AVOID EYEGLASS WORLD AT ALL COSTS!!!! RIP OFF!!!

The only thing I can say about this place is that it is not as they say it is. If you go here I doubt you will leave here paying the price advertised. If I were you, I would check out other options first and then come here to see if you are getting a good deal. I would check out Payless Optical and America's Best Optical first. Then you can see who really has the good deal.

Again walk out mad. My husband went to ger someday glasses because needed that day. Of course by the time I realized what was going on they has him getting lenses that he couldnt get that day and cost 3 times the amount. Then when I got upset and he said this is only way I can get. I said no they seemed to be able to come up with the cheaper once and could get done same day.I reminded him this is why we had said we would never come back her. Only reason we was here is I made a mistake when getting appointment meet to get one down the street. Had to leave was so mad hope they dont RIP him off while I'm setting in car.

Long story short, my son broke his glasses. Got a next day eye exam appointment. Went to pick out frames and they had to be ordered due to the transitional lenses. 7-10 days. No big deal. We'll wait. But he would have had to go possibly 10 days with no glasses. During finals week. The girl helping us got his lenses switched to a loaner pair until his new ones come in. I cannot thank you enough!!! Update: 5/29/18 Went in today to pick up the glasses. Mark helped us. He was so great! Amazing customer service!

I had a very satisfactory vision test there a year ago but today earned 5 stars for customer service. My mom entered hospice, a family dog had to be be put to sleep and my glasses dropped and the frame cracked. A very nice person waited on me as I was hoping for a quick emergency fix. The technician - who I never saw- attempted the quick fix which did not work. The woman who was helping me said if I waited they had another idea- they found another frame that fit my lenses and sent me walking out with a pair of working glasses at no charge. You just do not find that kind of personal care often / nor expect it! Especially at a franchise. They will have my business because I encountered helpful, personal service.

By far the BEST place I've gotten glasses at. Every one was so helpful and kind! I've never had anyone actually take the time to shape my glasses to fit PERFECTLY to my face. My glasses wouldn't stay tightened up, kept falling off every time I look down and I was sure they would not make it another day! Soooooo, while in Des Moines today, I went to Eyeglass World to get "2 pairs of glasses for $79.99." Welllllllll, after paying the price of vanity, I paid $140 extra for no line bifocals, $340extra for the Kodak coating (no choice), another $25 for the protection plan, ANOTHER protection plan, extra $20 for the upgraded frames AND the $88 exam, my new 2 pairs of glasses cost me $700!! To top this off, I went because they would be done in 1 HOUR, but they are mailing them to me in a week!! And the real kicker? THEY FIXED MY OLD PAIR LIKE BRAND NEW!!! They never told me till AFTER SHE CHARGED MY CARD, "Here you go, I fixed your old ones." I about fell over as I was still reeling from the almost 100% switch and bait sales, so I said, "Well, maybe I don't need the new ones after all!" The manager laughed and said, "Oh? I’m a few months late with my review of this company but the more I think about it the more frustrated I get. I went here for the ‘2pairs for under $100 deal’ and while my experience with the eye doctor and his staff was great, my experience with the staff when picking out frames was a different story. I went to pick out frames immediately after my eye appointment. After 15 min of standing there trying to get someone’s attention because I didn’t know what to do, I was told to sign in. After signing in I looked thru the selection of frames for almost 40 min before my name was called. I picked both frames from the 2 for 79.00 (or something close) and thought that I’d maybe spend a couple hundred with my steep prescription. After all was said and done the frames and lenses cost over 430.00!! When I asked why the lady told me that the only way to get the price down was to have thicker more coke like lenses. I definitely couldn’t afford the thinnest ones but I was super disappointed and felt that they take advantage of those who don’t want coke bottles on their face.

I came here to get my glasses they told me it would be done by the 5th and until the 8th they called me saying they were ready 3 days later. When I came to pick them up the bifocals for reading were to low, i had to lift up my chin at least 45 degrees so i can read and when i do that the frame gets in the view it was to low . I talked to two workers and they said they were gonna lift it 4 millimeters, the problem started when they called the manager Mark and he said no the glasses were perfect and he said i have to get use to them and that i only needed to lift my eyes a little bit up and down. And i told him several times that i can not do that because the bifocal was to low i had to lift up my chin and he said its ok thats not a problem. i told him i was not happy with the glasses i told him they need to redone the job.he said no the glasses are perfect because all he cared about was the company money thats why he doesnt want them to do again the prescription because of the money.

Zero stars was not an option. Atrocious. Went out of my way to visit on a Saturday morning after being assured on the phone that they could turn around a glasses order in a day. Everybody else in town needed a week to 10 days to order progressive lenses. Was waited on by a nice woman who measured me and said if I returned with my prescription today (I had an optometrist appointment that afternoon), I could pick them up Monday. Told her I would return at 4:00. Showed back up at 4:00 and was informed by some sullen salesperson that they had “run out” of lenses and they would need to be ordered. “A week to 10 days” — right back to square one.

Doctor wrote a prescription for contacts that was a "trial" and I had requested for my original contacts to be on the prescription just incase I didn't like the new type. Very poor customer service. Was on hold for 15 minutes, they said that they'd call me back within the hour. Two hours later I thought I should call back. They again said that the doctor would be available in a few minutes and when she was they would call me right back. Over an hour later it was 6:55 and the store closes at 7 so I called again and they said I should have came in (which I asked if I should and they said that they'd call me back to tell me). I felt as if there was no communication going on there. I should have read the reviews before going. Update: they finally called back the next day saying that they had fixed the prescription. I get there and all they did was just cross off the old information changed it and photocopied it. I asked "so this is the same contacts that I had gotten previously" they said yes. Get to the place where I buy contacts... it was the wrong lense again.

I had went all over town to find the perfect glasses at the right price! I walked into Eyeglass World and they were busy. It did not take but a few seconds to get greeted! I was put on a list and in about 5min I was called by Mr. Rodney McDaniel! I told Mr. McDaniel what a frame looked like that i had seen at other places, and he said excuse me ill be right back. He brought the excact pair I was looking for and helped me pick out the lenses that would be best for me and my lifestyle! The whole reason this visit turned into a purchase was all the info that Rodney had given me about anti-reflective, transitions, the differences between the 3 types of no line bifocals and so on! I made two eye appointments, one for myself and for my husband. We arrive and start filling out paperwork, including whether we want to opt for some extra tests, which we do, we sign and date those documents. We are also asked to sign and date confirming we received documents we were never given, we refuse. We request to speak with the doctor prior to commencing with any kind of exam or tests to ensure we are going to leave there with what we need. The doctor refuses even speak to us and instead we are told that he is leaving for the day despite a lobby full of patients. I will not entrust my eyes to a doctor who is not confident in his ability to answer questions, he most assuredly does the bare minimum in other areas of his profession. Steer clear of this place and find a more reputable location for your services with a doctor who will at least answer your questions and staff who can communicate clearly and treat people with respect.

Don't waste your time and money here. All these reviews do not surprise me. I had my eyes examined by an older man who was nice but did not do a good job as my sight was blurry with the contact lens trials he gave me per his new prescription for me. Their policy is that you have 30 days to see them again if you have any issues with your new prescription, so, I scheduled another appointment. About two weeks later, I get in to the exam room and the doctor (a younger man) told me he could not see me as he was not the doctor who initially examined me. I made a 45 minute drive and was refused service - they're the ones that scheduled me that day after all. I let the doctor know that it was unacceptable and all he did was bump up my prescription by one point in each eye - without even examining me! My 30 day guarantee was not honored basically and I've been dealing with a bad prescription since. I even paid for a special, more expensive exam. Definitely going to a specialist this next time.

Make sure you get what you paid for. I ordered an Armani frame with transistion lenses, but when I went to pick them up... Some plastic frame sunglasses instead of what I ordered. Worst part is that my glasses were made outside of the store, and when received by the store, my order was not checked for accuracy. Staff is rude and apathetic. My daughter found the frame she really liked there so we followed through with transaction. Otherwise I would have never put up with their bs. The young lady who helped with picking out frame was competent but when returned for fitting the bearded indian looking tech guy was clearly an unhappy person who barely acknowledged us during 2 minute fitting and adjustment before he mumbled thank you and walked away.. Again, if my daughter wasn't there and didn't really like those frames I would have taken my business elsewhere. I went in there today for new glasses, because I accidentally broke mine. The staff quickly jumped in to get an exam and order a new pair. My prescription was too strong to get in a day. Jesse has superb customer service skills! He worked very hard repairing my broken pair to get me through until the new ones get here, which could be a week or more. Jesse didn’t have to do that, so I am very grateful for him doing that. He helped me more than he will ever realize! I used to go to a competitor, but they would never have done what Jesse did. Well my little girl needed glasses we went into the store and ask an associate were the little kids glasses are she didn't answer the question just told us to sign in . Was given a date my glasses would be ready, date passes and I gave it 2 days before I call them only to find out that the lab lost one of the frames. When were they going to call to inform me of this?!? Had to go on another day off and pick out a new pair of frames because the ones that were lost were discontinued, which upset me even more because out of all the selection they were the only ones I really liked. One of the doctors filling in my order was more interested that I wore hearing aids than my glasses and kept insisting I get cochlear implants like he did. After repeatedly saying I was not interested in such an invasive and useless procedure he still printed up paperwork for me to get them through a program. I'm here for glasses, not hearing loss. I could go on, but I think this is enough to make the informed decision not to come here. Really unhappy with the service I received and for what I paid for it.

Dr. Nancy Guerrant is amazing. The staff is very cool. I was able to make a Saturday appointment with very little wait. They didn't take my insurance, but I joined the eye club for $99 and that gives me 3 years of exams and 10 percent off contacts and glasses - which may be the best eye care deal I've ever had. Also, I'm as blind as they come and I left with some free trials that are so much more comfortable than the Hubbles I came in wearing. When I arrived, the people were nice and friendly, but when it came time to buy the glasses, everything was just tacked on additional fees. All I was looking to purchase was a pair of inexpensive RX sunglasses and new lenses for my already nice frames (the lenses were scratched), They wanted $375 (before tax!) for this and then told me that since my perscription was up in October, the scratch protection they offer would end in 3 months. Love this place. Allison at the Lexington, KY branch is amazing. Went above and beyond my expectations. I had a hard time deciding contacts or glasses or both. She explained the benefits and disadvantages of both. So I got both. She even explained the benefits for the extras on my glasses scratch proof, warranty for $25 bucks full replacement. She was training a new employee at the time so that person got the credit for the sale. She really is a helpful trainer to the employees and to the company and will only due business with her.

Very poor customer service. Walked out put my glasses on and discovered they did not correctly fill my order. Turned around and sat down....one of the lenes came off the frame. Manager was making excusses and at first wasn't going to fix the problem. All this after waiting over a week to get them. Had to wait almost 2 weeks only to visit the store and found out the glasses had been in over 3 days but no one bothered to call me. Three days later another piece of the frame fell off.

Worked with several people here through my glasses purchasing experience. Cassandra was nice and helpful and extremely patient. She even stayed late so I could order my glasses without having to come back the next day. The company itself is really corporate feeling and not willing to go the extra mile. I didn't work with all the employees but there were several I was glad to avoid after observing them work for several hours, especially the gentleman I'm pretty sure was the manager. Even though they have a seemingly extensive frame variety, and I do like my new regular glasses from them, I still ended up having to settle on my Rx sunglasses. My eyeglasses don't work for me. They are so far up on my face that I have to constantly take them off to clean and when they are at normal adjustment I can't see out of them which means the bifocal is incorrect and I can feel my eye lashes up against them. So I moved from Colorado, an had went in for my eye exam prior to moving to Wichita. with my prescription already done by eyeglass world in Colorado, I take my prescription in to the Wichita location to have it filled, an right before I called to get prices an when they would be ready I'm told $309.00 an 3 to 5 days, however arriving to the store it goes to 4 to 7 days which is a slight change but still ok. My grace period I wait out by them saying they would call no call I call in twice only being hit with excuses it'll be in Monday the manager sent a Email which is 2 days after I called in about my prescription being late very very displeased.

The one star rating is for the nice girl that helped me with my transaction of purchasing the glasses. Once you understand how the two pair for $78 works it is easy to choose something fitting your desires but it will cost you more. I can understand that the features I needed for my glasses will cost me but even to buy the $179 pair of frames had I got the second pair of frames they would not have been free. People need to remember that in addition to the frames, you have to pay for the lenses and all the added features you want. Sad part is We drove 125 miles one way, they had to order the glasses, so not done in about an hour is a joke. Then I receive the glasses via UPS about two weeks after they were ordered, packaging was poor, glasses were in a cheap faux leather pouch, no extra padding in box to protect my investment, no cleaning cloth, spray, final receipt, Walmart eyeglass place treats you better than this.to male matters worse, although package was addresses properly, UPS delivered to the wrong house. While their ads and what you get remind me of the ol' "bait n' switch" tactics businesses use to get you into the store, personal service while at the store was good, follow-up service was very very poor and they should be ashamed. And No, I do not need to contact the store, this should have been done properly in the first place. I will not be coming back nor recommending to my friends. Especially when I went 125 miles out of my way to buy from this company.

I was in the store on a Saturday, found the glasses we wanted and then had an insurance issue so needed to wait until Monday. Called on Tuesday and our information had been misplaced due to computer issues in the store. Cie jumped right to it and went to looking for the frames we had picked out. With the snap of a couple pictures we were able to find the exact frames. Finished the transaction over the phone. I've never had such great customer service. Never. She needs a raise!

I have been getting my glasses here for years. They have always worked with me until they get my lenses right. My vision is poor with lots of Astigmatism and the lenses have to be precise or else my eyes can't handle. They took good care of me and made sure the lenses were spot on, I am going to pick up my new glasses today and can't wait. Attendees are friendly and give you their undivided attention...no complaints here thanks Eyeglass World for making my experience a positive one! Why 4 stars unfortunately for me they are out of network, not there fault but an inconvenience.

If I could give NO stars that's what it would be. Customer service is negative. They answer the phone like they don't want to be there. They called me to pick up my glasses and when I arrive they can't find them. They finally realize its because I owed a balance, which they never bothered to ask in the first place AND IT COULD HAVE SAVED ME AN HOUR. They asked for payment like it was borrowed out of their pocket, gave no receipt. The optometrist office is just as bad. I can handle bad customer service but if you are a cash paying customer save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. I could go on and on but there's so many other places I can go why waste more of my time on these fools!!

Bad quality and bad customer service from this store and corporate. I got two pairs of glasses and both were scratched within the 6 weeks that I had them. So bad that the glasses looked shattered. I contacted the corporate office via email twice and called and left two messages with the store (after hours, my bad, I should have called during the day) and never heard back. I filed a complaint with the BBB and was contacted from corporate and while they offered to fix it, at that point I was done with Eyeglass world and went to another company in Perrysburg. I had to pay $300 out of pocket to fix the issue and the quality there was so much better that I’ve had those glasses for 2 months now and not a scratch. So disappointed and will go out of my way to make sure people are aware of the poor quality.

Went to get new glasses. Was told that I would get a call in 10 days when the glasses are ready. Nobody called. I called after 14 days. Lady said that she had a customer and would call me back later. Called about 15 minutes later to tell me that the glasses are ready for pick-up. Waited 40 minutes to pick up. Was running out of time and left the store without testing them. Now I have to lean back to be able to read my computer screen. Poor service.

Very disappointed with the lack of customer service at the store this afternoon at 5 PM on Saturday afternoon. Was in the store for the better part of 10 minutes and none of the customer service representative's bothered to speak to me or even acknowledge my existence which I thought was Peculiar especially since people entered the store after me and were greeted right away. There were also at least five staff members on site in the store at the time that I was there with my children. Disappointed would be an understatement and I wish I could speak on the quality of their products but I guess I was not important enough to the staff to even have the opportunity to find out. Terrible experience, I made an appointment for my son to get contacts. I get there they do the exam and take my money. I ask them about his contacts and they say oh we will need to do another exam for that they had my son down for eyeglasses only.I told the lady I specifically said contacts when I made the appointment, I never mentioned eyeglasses, she said oh we would need to do the exam for the eyeglasses anyways and your sun will have to pay $35 for the class to teach him how to wear the contacts , plus additional feee for the contact exam. What is the point of setting up an appointment if they're going to ignore you? The eye doctor is great! I have had multiple appointments in the store for the past few years and I have had great experiences. A few of the floor staff members are slightly impersonal and impatient, but that is not true of all of them. I have gotten my frames here for the past few years as well and they have held up very well, especially considering the cost is so reasonable. They do need to work on answering the phone however, they are difficult to get a hold of.

I have been going to eye glass world for 9 years and have always had a great experience. However I took my 10 year old daughter for her eye exam this morning. The doctor we saw Dr. Wallace Gurrant was rude, and called my daughter a liar and laughed at her, then when I asked him to please stop with his rude comments, he looked at me and laughed. I have never been treated that way by a doctor. My daughter was so upset she just asked to leave, we went to the lobby to get her glasses, and when we got in the car she cried and said she never wanted to go back, and told me mommy I was telling the truth I couldn’t see with those frames. I was furious. I have debated all day about weather to post this or not. But I decided to for the fact I hope no other parent or child has to be treated this way by this doctor again.

I read the bad reviews and almost didn't visit. However, they carried everything from El Cheapo to Oakley, so I decided to give them a try. Whereas other dealers were quoting 2-week lead times for Oakley, they had my glasses in under a week, and I got a pair of Oakley sunglasses half off for my wife. I went into the store to make a eyeglass appointment yesterday and met the rudest lady imaginable. I did not catch her name but she had on a white coat. First off this was the first time I had been in the store since it was remodeled. I use to come here for my glasses but hurricane Matthew had the store closed for awhile and I went to a place in the mall. I decided to come back since I did not like the place in the mall. I showed the lady my new insurance name and she told me I had to pay $39.99 for a exam. I said my paper said they were included and she said no it isn’t. She couldn’t point to where it said that on my paper or the paper she printed. Basically she made me think my insurance was worthless. I went to pearl vision and boom exam covered as was other things. Also this associate before she helped me was talking to another associate and said don’t know nothing. Worst experience EVER......only reason I'm giving a star is for the Dr herself. Very kind and descriptive. If I had the time to have went somewhere else, I would have left after the exam. The secretary was rude and condescending. After dealing with her I asked to speak with manager. True manager wasn't surprised if my experience and when I told her I would like to make a formal complaint she told me corporate wouldn't do anything but tell her anyway. I am in a field that requires lots of customer service and the girl I dealt with first ruined my first experience with them in less then 5 minutes. I was appalled by her mannerisms. Great place to get glasses!! Hubby and I just got eye exams and glasses here and it was the best experience. We were walk ins for the eye exams and they were able to get us in within an hour. The Doctor of Optometry was super nice and took the time to discuss my concerns. The sales staff were all extremely friendly and not pushy. They presented all the options and let us choose what would work for us and our budget. My glasses needed an extended completion time due to the strength of one of my lenses but hubby's were ready when they said they would be, in fact, they were even early. Tom, the manager, took the time to make sure hubby's glasses were right and fit well. I highly recommend them to anyone needing new glasses, especially if you are on a budget. These guys really take the stress out of getting new glasses.

I agree with Denise Jennings. My very first exam was rushed and I ordered glasses and it was the wrong prescription. I told myself I would never go back but against my better judgment I went again for another annual exam and it was rushed. I went back several days later to let them know that my prescription in my left eye was wrong and they said it’s probably an adjustment issue. They adjusted my glasses and I was a little better but not much, then they sent me on my way. I feel that they just didn’t want to give me another exam. I finally went back a couple weeks later and let them know I didn’t want an adjustment but another exam. They gave me another one and the dr was extremely shocked that my prescription changed within a few weeks. Truthfully, if she wasn’t rushing the first time then I would have gotten the correct prescription and she wouldn’t have been so shocked. I’m so over eyeglass world and I am never going back there to get my eyes checked. Save yourself the trouble and go to a better and more accurate place.

We were flat out lied to... when I came and bought glasses, we were told that I could use the "coupon" for another set of glasses for anyone in my family. That was BS. Of course, even though we were given wrong information, they won't honor it. Even worse, all we wanted to do was buy JUST the frames. Again, we are being told "we can't do that". Um, there's a difference between can't and WON'T. The sad thing, you get what you pay for. Awful customer service, snotty staff, cheap frames. The "warranty" they offer is a scam. It's not a warranty at all. You'll end up paying almost as much as you would for a new set of glasses. I highly recommend you save up a little more money and spend it somewhere else. The all around quality and treatment is worth the extra you'll be shelling out someplace else that's NOT eyeglass world. GO TO ANOTHER STORE!

We waited around for about 15minutes more ( total time in store over 30 min) but then gave up and walked out. My fiancé and I didn’t have the best experience here. I will say the owner/doctor is very nice and we have come here for years but we will probably not give them anymore business after our experience. Them not trying to actually resolve anything or refund us for any inconvenience is my reason for bringing our business elsewhere, as well as spreading the word... This last time my fiancé went in for an exam and all went as normal. The doctor who helped him (not the owner of the practice) mentioned to him that his prescription had not really changed in the last year. He ordered his glasses and his first day wearing them he was getting dizzy/disoriented and could not adjust. This is dangerous because he drives trucks carrying chemicals for a living and was unable to come home to change his glasses to the old pair that day. We noticed that the doctor wrote the prescription wrong (the left and right eye were switched ) and the prescription was almost exactly opposite of the one from the previous year. We contacted them multiple times with no response from the doctor after leaving messages with the receptionist. Since they didn’t call back after a week, we had to go back in to talk to the doctor who originally helped him. The doctor refused to acknowledge that he made a mistake and suggested it was my fiancé’s fault for giving him the wrong information. This is ridiculous because he has had plenty of eye exams in the past and has never had this type of problem. Instead of apologizing for even the possibility of making a mistake, he blamed the customer. They contacted him and asked us to take down my original review because it could be bad for business. They said they probably couldn’t give him a refund because the 30 days had passed and told us we should have contacted them earlier. We did! We called multiple times and never got a call back. Had to physically go in to even be acknowledged and they still somehow tried to blame my fiancé. Not a good experience.

This was my very first time getting glass's and I'm in my 40"s. The whole experience was fantasitic, I had no insurance and the manger found me a way to save and get 2 great pairs with progressive lens's and designer frames. So go here they are great!!!!!

Outstanding customer service! My wife and I were home for a family visit , we arrived late in the afternoon with the hopes that we could have my wife's new glasses the next morning before we flew back to Italy. We had been to two other places with no luck. Not only did we get the new glasses and custom polarized sunglasses before our flight, but they stayed late to complete them that very day. Who gets a new pair of glasses and polarized lensed sunglasses in less than two hours? Special gratitude to Richard Candelaria, the manager Rodney, and the lab technician, wish we remembered his name. Without us asking, you went way above normal customer service to help us out so that we could make our flight the next morning. It was completely unexpected and very much appreciated. I ordered two pairs on glasses they messed up the orders the one that was supposed to have the anti glare does not also that same pair that doesn’t have the anti glare the prescription is wrong the eyes are switched and I told the man that fitted the glasses on me that it looked blurry and what he told me was I just had to get used to them wrong and they kept telling me different dates when I asked when they were gonna be in. We have had nothing but good luck with Eyeglass World. I have purchased not only my glasses but also for 2 of my children. The $25.00 insurance that WAS NOT forced on my bill but was chosen by me was a great option. My daughter started wearing glasses when she was 4 so being rough on them was a given. If they broke, they fixed them OR let her pick out another pair that were the same price for $0.00. That's what the insurance does for you. OR, if she just didn't like the way they fit or hurt her ears, they replaced them for free with another pair of the same price. My children's school is around the corner and when my son's glasses lost a screw, they took them to Eyeglass World not knowing that we even went there and they fixed them for free. The staff is great to work with. I highly recommend them. It's a no brainer. I have referred family and friends there as well.

Excellent experience both times I used them. First time, the prescription I had from a doctor was incorrect. They remade the glasses at no charge. Even though it was not their fault. I used to be a certified Optician and ran an optical shop - long ago. They do a good job. Not as cheap as I was hoping in cost, but I love my glasses, and having that second pair has been a real life-saver for me!! This time I got some really stunning designer frames, and they will be good for just lenses the next time or two. The insurance was worth it! I have used mine, and when you need it you are really glad you did it.

Went in February 2014 originally to get new glasses for my wife. Due to her prescription and having to have specialties done to her lenses, we weren't able to partake in the "2 for $69" sale they're famous for. Fast forward to today (July 2018), I called in to see if they still carried the frames she purchased a little over 4 years ago because her current pair had been broken (stepped on by our daughter). We didn't have enough money on hand for an exam and new prescription (even after insurance the cost is around $700 for her diabetic exam and 2 pairs of glasses). Sure enough, they still carried those frames at the cash price of $79 and even had them in stock at the store and ready to pick up in the 45 minutes it took me to drive across town. Great service with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will repeat business when we can afford to get a proper exam and replacements. The new frames will tide us over until then.

I went yesterday after seeing the Doctor next door, NOT HAPPY. When I first walked in a Lady (Caio?) greeted me, then gave me my insurance info, she was nice. BUT I had walked around the store 4 times or so, and I stood by the designer glasses for 5 minutes trying to get some to try one, but no one helped me. The lady that initially helped me was on the phone so I didn't go to interrupt her, yet there were 3 younger ladies standing MAYBE 3 feet away talking, or eating and ignoring me. I don't think it's my job to ask for help when I was THE ONLY PERSON in the store at the time. I stood there and stared at them for a bit. After working in retail/sales/customer service for almost 10 years this was a huge let down. I was so disappointed, I got my insurance card and left. I went to LensCrafters and had an amazing experience. You lost my business and everyone I know I'm telling to not waste their time in this store. I would of bought 2 pairs that I liked but I refuse to spend my money to help people that can't help me.

I have just experienced my worst service at the eyeglass world on rivers ave. The scew in my glasses broke, so I went in to see if it could be fix. The male associate that attempted to help me, took my glasses stretch the frames and then gave them back to me and said they couldn't be fix. He then told me they were not covered by warranty so I could either buy another pair or see if I could find some one to re drill the screw hole. Oh by the way, one of the lenses was missing as well. His attempt to find my lenses also included going into the trash can, coming out with a lense that he found and said here it is. I just could not believe what I saw, so I said to him, that's not my lenses. Why would my lenses be in the trash can? His response, maybe someone threw it in their. I just couldn't believe what was happening, so he get mad because now I'm upset with the service he's providing. One of the young ladies who I asked if she could clean the lenses for me, ask one of the gentleman behind the glass, that makes the glasses for you if he could fix the issue. He kindly took the glasses and repaired them for me. So not only was his comment, take them some where else to be repaired, a dumb response, they were repaired in the store. I've been doing business with this establishment for 7 years, and this was my last visit to this store. By the way the manager sat in her office and watched this take place and not once came out and asked me what was going on. If you have to visit this establishment ask for Tammy, she will do right by you, but I will never step foot in this place again.

I have been here a few times, no bait and switch ever. My daughter has really bad eyes, and never been there before had an eye exam. Sat down with Tom and I couldn’t understand why her glasses were almost $500. Tom, took the time to explain everything to me. I don’t have vision insurance to help with anything. So after doing everything they could for us, we spent $299 for two pair and an eye exam. They have our business for life. And I’m sorry that I took her anywhere else. The blurred vision and headaches she was having for years, are now gone, thanks to Eyeglass World.

So here's what Eyeglass World was met with last Monday. A barely audible guy with one contact lens in called from a Subaru station where his car was being worked on at the tail end of a week-long, 2600-mile road trip. The secretary could barely understand my ramble yet still managed to put in a placeholder for me for a rushed 12:15 eye appointment (sliding me in on the fly, no appointments were available until 2:30), as they couldn't sell me a replacement lens due to the fact that I hadn't had my eyes checked in two years. Didn't even take the appointment at first, I DECLINED the favor while still shopping around for better times and she held the favor for me while I poked around. THEN I disappeared after checking in to go walk around (I showed up early and thought I had time) and they STILL let me get in after I wandered back. Very, very cool people. I hadn't had my eyes checked because my eyesight has remained at the same stable prescription level since 1998, and while it had been suggested to me before why I should consider lightening my prescription, it had never been explained WHY I should, so expertly and with nuance -- considering I'm a middle-aged dude that is averse to changing things he's had in his whole life. I didn't get the lighter lenses, but I will next time (I had a long drive ahead of me, and just wanted to be sure) at an Eyeglass World that is nowhere near Lexington, as we live three hours away. Actually, I might make the drive just for this doctor, and that staff. Was grateful for just sneaking in for an appointment in the first place, then the best and most thorough (but quick! She knew I was champing to hit the road again) eye exam I've ever had. Wasn't encouraged or paid to write this, and I didn't get a deal outside of the Eyeglass World plan I'd signed up for (which the assistant REMINDED me of), essentially making the visit free and the needed contacts the only cost of my trip to the store. (EDIT: Now that I recall, I did get a deal: the doctor found a coupon for me just before I left that gave me 40 bucks off the lenses I just bought, reminding me that this was enough for that night's dinner with my wife, as we ended a trip made all the more lovelier by this visit.)

Would like a faster exam schedule but all in all its a 5 star rating. Also repaired my glasses for free a couple of times. These people are crooks! I took my eye exam there. They found out I had two insurances, so they told me the cheapest I could get a pair of glasses was well over $100 for one pair of glasses. I asked about the two for $79, or two for $99. She told me that was for people without insurance. She could get me a second pair for the same price as the first though by charging my second insurance. I told them I didn't want their glasses then just my prescription. Then they wouldn't give me my pupil distance, since I wasnt buying theirs (just so I couldn't buy online). I may be wrong but shouldn't that be included? I will not be a return customer!

If you get contact lens exam, take the following up exam, even if they don't want to take the time. I have been wearing contacts lenses for years. I ordered the lenses they prescribed. They did not feel right, so I went back to ask Doctor Puneet Rastogi to take a look at the lenses in my eyes. They informed me it was passed the time and I would have to pay for another exam. If I am going to pay again it will Not be with this Doctor! Follow up ; Jessica at Customer Care called me from Eyeglass World, she was very helpful. Well I recently visited this establishment and sort of had a bad experience. I’m sorry that the one person that provided exceptional customer service may have to suffer with this post. I was speaking with Selena (her name will stick with me forever due to her knowledge of their products and plus one of my all time favorite movies), when I became distracted by a “side convo” that another employee voluntarily offered to another customer. The young lady was speaking about a miscarriage she recently suffered. Believe me when I say I sympathize with her however that convo and in the manner in which it was presented is very inappropriate for a customer service friendly establishment. It bothered me because I myself suffered from the loss of not one but two children and just as my “scab” her unsolicited convo ripped it off. To the young lady Selena, hats of to you for keeping it professional. Hopefully management can coach the other young lady on what is “acceptable work place convo.”

This is more about the office of Dr. Puneet Rastogi, the optometrist office onsite. My family & I had 9:30am appointments for eye exams. We were in the office for almost 3 1/2 hours for 5 eye exams!! My time is valuable and this was just excessive. The girl at the office counter was not helpful and condescending. With 3 exams left out of 5, I asked for the script to take next door to start getting the glasses started. I was told that I have to pay first. I was going to pay at the end for all of the exams but she & the other girl at the desk made it seem like I wasn’t able to afford the cost. I got receipts that didn’t have the patients names on them so now I can’t get reimbursed from my flex plan. I am very disappointed and the proprietor of the optometrist office should be a bit more selective of who he put in the front reception area. First impressions are key. I will most likely be seeking another optometrist for my family’s vision needs. Not only has the doctor lost 5 patients, it has caused a trickle down effect to Eyeglass World who has lost 5 eyeglass customers & any future sales. The Eyeglass World side was great and Adam was very helpful. It’s too bad that there are a couple of bad employees that ruin the whole experience.

Back in 2009 I gave Eyeglass World my new eye prescription and ordered two pairs of glasses. When they arrived the prescriptions for both were wrong. Everything was blurry when I put on both pairs. Well, it turns out Eyeglass World has a policy that I was unaware of that they don't have to make good on how they messed up. They told me callously that their "no refund" policy is posted around their store. Despite several attempts on my part they had no concern and never offered to make the glasses again for me. I ended up taking the glasses to another store and they checked them.They told me Eyeglass World uses cheap lenses normally only put in children's glasses but they put them in adult glasses. They also determined they were not the prescription I had given them. I had to pay again for the glasses at another eye store --I used same prescription and they came back fine. So--Eyeglass World didn't offer new glasses and they kept my money. Worst retail experience I have ever had.

Very disappointed in my experience so far. I went to Eyeglass World at the end of September and the doc prescribed the wrong prescription. When I tried to go back, the store was closed due to damage from Hurricane Matthew. Understandably so. However, every time I called, the phone just kept ringing and didn't find out they were closed up til I drove over to the store. Fast forward a lot of unreturned calls and mixed information.... I went for a follow up appointment and the doctor tried arguing with me about the prescription being wrong. After another exam, it WAS wrong. Now, I'm waiting for my glasses to be redone. Yesterday, they were supposed to be ready at noon. Today, at 6pm, I went to the store but only to find out that they messed up the lens and can't have them ready until tomorrow between 4pm and 5pm. The manager said that she should have called and was sorry that she didn't. I'm just really disappointed in my overall experience.

I had a decent experience with them a few years ago so the last time I needed safety glasses, I went back there. They screwed up the prescription so bad they had to order them twice. Then the new style safety glasses now have replaceable nose pieces. I have tried to get replacement pads for 3 months. I am very unhappy with the service I am receiving with this company. I paid for two pair of Rayban glasses and warranty with my daughter' s first pair of glasses. Of course she lost the first pair within the first six months, which is expected she is nine. This was the whole purpose of purchasing insurance. But then they told me, that the insurance only covers broken but not lost or stolen glasses. Of course that had me furious, because having insurance, I thought would cover everything but IT DOESN'T. Worst business EVER! I had my eye exam and chose frames and then they told me their internet was down and couldn’t run my insurance told me to return today. I called before returning and was told it was still done and this same thing happened to my husband back in April. Also when my husband got his glasses their lense cutting machine was broken for three days and once it was fixed they put in the wrong prescription. I am taking my business elsewhere.

He is rude during the exam and he has now messed up my prescription twice. He's tried rushing me out telling me it's just the contacts and that I just need to get used to them. Prices reasonable, but they do try to charge you for extras without asking. If you don't want extended insurance, make sure you tell them. There are one or two rude/unprofessional employees. I'm not sure why they keep them with so many looking for work. Great selection of frames, and if you just don't like them after you get them home, you can exchange them (which happened with one of my children). When I have purchased glasses here, they have always been checked for fit and adjusted as necessary (and later readjusted if needed). When deciding to buy bifocals, I was counseled re visual ranges with different options.

I just contacted the store to ask about my husbands eye glass warranty and they told me there wasn't one. Ok, well, they also never told him that he needed to use a wet cloth when he cleaned them. He has used only t shirt material to clean them and Joann told me basically if they were scratched there was nothing they could do. That is so ridiculous and the fact that he paid including insurance almost 600.00 for ONE PAIR OF GLASSES. I will never visit this establishment nor will he again. Joann was not very nice to me on the phone to begin with, telling me very snidely that THEY were the only one in the area. This is my second time visiting the doctor for my annual eye checkup. Lord, the doctor is so amazing. He’s very attentive to your needs and questions. You can tell that he has a high good energy. The receptionists are nice, too. This year I decided to change the lenses of my old frame to the new prescriptions at their eye shop. I had a very good experience. Unfortunately they couldn’t work on my sunglasses frame due to its extreme curve. But they did my regular glasses. I usually have difficulties adjusting to new prescriptions. With them, I did NOT go through any problems adjusting. Side note: I ended up buying new sunglasses frames from them. They gave me the best deal ever I could get on a Versace pair. I highly recommend both: the doctor and the shop.

Had my eye exam back in Oct and bought new eyeglasses....paying cash for the exam/glasses. Kept having problems with them. Ended up having to go to UK's Advanced Eye Care because of eye problems I started having. Turned out my vision wasn't even matching what they had on my glasses. Went back to get them to make it right. The blond that turned out to be the manager and was very rude, wouldn't let us speak to the doctor. We walked out, letting her know they wouldn't be getting our business anymore. So, we found out they have a 30-day money back guarantee. So I went back to get my money back, and they wanted me to actually wait 7-10 business days for a check to come. I said, oh no...I paid cash, you're going to give me cash back. Anyway, I ended up having to call corporate just to get it all straightened out...so they're supposed to be overnighting a check. This is the 2nd time I've had issues with them. I wouldn't recommend them. The doctors are nice and I'll give em that. But that's about it.

I had absolutely horrendous service here and I can see with past reviews that my experience is not unique. I should have read the reviews before I paid this place a dime. First of all, this is the only place that has ever got my prescription wrong, it was too strong and I had migraines from it. They told me I needed to "get used" to the glasses. I've never had to do that before. I finally get back in for a retest and they scheduled me with the other doctor over the phone. I get in, and they're not sure if the other doctor will see me because he didn't test me in the first place. They eventually let me see him (he was the only one on shift) and he is super short with me and impatient, and kind of rude. I get the prescription and move on. They are still wrong! Some time goes by while I try to "get used" to them and I call to ask when their retesting period is over because they're still not quite right. They tell me that it is 30 days and assure me that my next test would be free. I schedule an appointment and go back in and the original doctor that I saw is yelling at me because I was supposed to get some other test first. He yells at me and walks out of the room, leaving me super confused. Eventually the receptionist grabs me and tests me in another room. I have to wait a bit to get the doctor back into the room and he begins to yell at me again that I'm past the 3 week retesting period and that there will be a $50 charge. I told him that is not what they told me and he starts arguing with me and continues to yell at me. I tried to ask a question and I got interrupted and he yelled at me and said "just wear the glasses" and that he doesn't think he can help me anyways because the two prescriptions only have slight changes. This is completely unacceptable! You do not yell at customers and they are obviously incompetent. I used to go to Eye Associates and have NEVER had a problem. I should have waited the 3 months that I would have taken me to get into them. Don’t waste your time with this place. I now have $400 of glasses/tests that aren’t even much of an improvement over my original eyesight.

If it wasn't for the eye doctor, my review would be one star. I called, made an appointment because I broke my glasses. I had to get an eye exam, and I was just going to get a backup pair, so the 2 for 78 seemed like a reasonable price to pay... I challenge anyone to find the that deal. Bait and switch, plain and simple. I just wanted plain glasses, but after what seems like an hour for her to check me out. I'm old enough to know when I am being scammed, it should be simple, eye exam, glasses and check out. The first price I received was 270, and after more typing we were sitting at 330. I can go online and pick up a pair for a third of that. So I asked to just pay for the exam, with my insurance cost me 42.00 so the rest of the 330 was the 2 for 78

Madison was very accommodating and helpful from letting me pick my desired pair up, helping with insurance matters and until the very end through checkout. It was stress-free & I was even able to pick up it up after 2 hours! I definitely recommend Eyeglass World by Kellogg for a hassle-free and welcoming experience!

During my eye exam here, both the office staff and the doctor himself were extremely friendly and kind. I had a wonderful experience and my insurance was accepted which is great. The optomistrists are amazing as well. The man helping me helped me understand the benefits of my insurance plan and broke down my receipt in a way that was super easy to understand. This store is the worst store that l never seen before. I would like to start about their costumer service that is unprofessional, disrespectful. I was waiting 25 minutes for some to at least say hi to me and no one came, there weren’t many people at this day! I asked someone and she told me please wait a minute and l was waiting 10 minutes then l left. Also, my wife went there and she had the same issue with 25 minutes waiting after that she put a sunglasses for hold then she come to purchase it after one day. They changed the price with 93$ more when she told them about this unprofessional costumer service they said maybe the agent gave her wrong price! We reported everything to the store manager and we still did not get any response since 6 months! I highly did not recommend this store at all even if they send you any advertisement stuff!

Bought a pair of glasses at the Toledo, Oh store since my insurance was accepted there. Dealt with a salesperson who seemed experienced. Told him what I was looking for in the way of frames and he picked out several pairs while I had my eye exam. Doc was personable and seemed thorough. Whole thing took a little over a half hour and cost around 200.00 which seemed about what it has cost in years past at other stores. Glasses were ready in under a week. Needed to go back after about a week to have them adjusted since they seemed to slide down my nose frequently. It was when I looked them up on line to see their store hours that I saw a host of negative reviews for the company. Was really surprised by this as my experience was nothing but pleasant. Suppose it depends greatly on how the store is managed. Obviously the one in Toledo is managed well.

I had a terrible experience at another eyeglass place and proceeded to avoid getting glasses until today. I ended up venturing into Eyeglass World by recommendation from a friend. Going to this store was one of the best decisions I have made, this morning my glasses broke and was forced to go get a replacement. Josh and Andrea made my appointment quick, easy, and enjoyable. They had answered all my annoying questions and made me feel like I wasn't a nuisance, which I know I was, and explained everything to me in an easliy understandable manner. Quite possibly the worst phone customer service I've ever had. When I called a few days before my script expired in December I was told they wouldn't sell me contacts. Called today to see if I had purchased the savings plan at my last visit and was snapped at that it expired in 2014 and they weren't offering it to me again. Basic customer service shouldn't be that hard to get.

I recently bought four pairs of glasses here and I have to warn you the frames are WAY inferior to those that you would get from a name brand manufacturer. Eyeglass world does offer some name brand frames and you should stick to them! Their off brands are garbage 3 of the 4 pairs that I bought broke from normal use...the 1 that did'nt break are raybans and I am quite satisfied with them. They also do not stand behind their product and offer only a 30 day waranty. In short go with another optical provider.

Was not impressed. I walked in the door and decided to look around since I was not greeted. I literally walked around the store trying on different frames in different price ranges. Once I was fully around the store, I wanted to try some oakley frames that were in a locked case. Luckily the Dr was done consoling one of the many customers so he let me try them on. Once I was done he locked the case and ran off to help some one else. I looked around and there were 2 floor associates, and the Dr running the floor..Mostly it was the Dr. I visited on a Sunday which I would assume is a Day when the new ad comes out. The 2 sales associates were more concerned with putting up new sale banners and changing signage. The display cases looked like crap and their was signage every where...Typically I would think most retail places have that set before the store would even open that day. I chose to leave cause I didn't want to waste any more of my day off. Customer service is 2 star at best. Merchandising is 1 star at best. That feeling that makes me want to return for future business..............sorry, got nothing for that

I came in because they offered same day glasses and my primary eye doctor does not. The person who helped me when I came in acted as if I was inconveniencing her whenever I asked a question about lenses. She kept making comments when looking up my insurance information, like she was confused where to look and why she couldn't find my information towards me as if I was hiding the information from her. I don't know, made me feel small. I eventually just told her never mind, I'll just go back to my doctor and wait the 6 business days to get my glasses in.

If you are looking for help this is not the place to go. I went into the store twice and no one even bothered to help me. After i picked out my frames i stood there for over 20 minutes before someone helped me. I went in today to pick up my glasses and i was promised i would have a hard case. Well they gave me a crappy hard case but not the one i was promised. I purchased a pair of Michael kors wich should have came with the michael kors case. Any other eye glass store has always gave me my case. Hmmm are they just trying to keep them and sale them else where. Not happy....... Update. Jason the manager made things right with me. I got my case and a little extra. I will change my 1 star to a higher rating only because of the management is great and understands how a business should be ran. Thank you Jason.
