If i could rate it a 0 i would. This location is a joke and so unorganized! I have always gone to independence and needed to get in and was in the area. I order a brand of contacts and instead got the cheaper ones given to me but still paid the same amount asked to have them switched and got told no and treated loke dirt. I kept them well how cheap they were 2 ripped and i called in to have them replaced or buy 2 trials(they were the same eye so have uneven nunber) and told no this place is a joke and will be contacting corporate! DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION

She sounds super unintelligent, she's difficult to deal with, and if Visionworks thinks that being difficult and refusing to answer customer questions is appropriate, then there are sooooooooooooo many other places to choose, with a much better selection of frames. I called the previous place we had an eye exam and got the information without an issue. Apparently, I should go back there. Racheal told me they don't have email... EMAIL... How does a business function without the ability to use email? Apparently, there are more advanced places to make sure you get accurate scripts rather than the cave they are in. BE WARY!! NO EMAIL?????????? For real?

Just got the first of a couple pairs of glasses from them and they have been fantastic from start to finish. Even with a minor hiccup with my lenses, they were willing to order a new pair while letting me wear the ones I was concerned about (as it turns out, the problem was a simple one to correct in-store, which they did the same day). Even in the face of adversity (in this case an irate and completely in the wrong fellow customer; the kind that nobody wants to deal with either as an employee OR customer) their staff was kind, knowledgeable, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I got the glasses I needed and ordered. From my eye exam to getting my glasses, they've been on top of it. I have second pair on the way and nothing but confidence that I'll get just what I ordered. As for the jackass in the store with me that day, fella if you ever read this, those people were doing everything they could to help you. You were dead wrong about your complaint, and you were absolutely the one with the attitude problem.

I would not recommend this location to anyone. The first time I as in there they said they ordered my contacts so the sales person could get a sale. When I showed up to get them they claimed the fitting was not over and the doctor needed to see me again. They they tell me the contacts were never ordered to begin with. When I got upset the lady tells me I need to be respectful. How about being respectful of my time? Driving over there on my lunch and then she takes a phone call with me standing there trying to get my contacts. I have managed people before and if someone had done that at a store I ran they would be fired on the spot. I wish I could say this is where it ended.. She goes over and starts whispering to her manager about me 20 feet away and thinks I cannot hear her. Speak rude about me to a manager telling them I am being abusive? Do your job and give me my contacts. Do not quote a Law that you do not know or understand. Who send their doctor to lunch at 1-2 in the afternoon. They have been working for 2 hours? Treat your clients better and do not belittle them when they car hear you.. Better yet ! Don't do that to them at all! You should all be ashamed of how you treated me today. I had every right to be upset and you treated me like I was nothing.

My husband and I came back after a very not okay experience in DEC of 2017. The Manager told us that if we would come back she promised that things would be better. And I must say she is a woman of her word. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable, efficient, made eye contact, continually showed their pearly whites, engaged us even as they did the same for other customers in the store and did an awesome job of making us feel wanted and appreciated. Horribl horrible glasses. We will NEVER! Ever give this place our business ever again. They have to have specials to get people in the door because they cheat them! We bought 2 pairs of glasses. The pair for my husband we went ahead and agreed to antiglare. Now the coating has come off. He wears the glasses that we got 2.5 years ago from SOMEWHERE ELSE LESS EXPENSIVE because the anti glare just looks like scratches it basically shredded off. My glasses must have never sealed because there are air bubbles on either side of the bridge of my nose plus a chunk of lense came out right in the middle. We were told today by a lady today ( who in all fairness was polite and tactful) that we had 30 days to have had a problem with them or else we needed to purchase the care plan. So we spend $400 on glasses and only have a 30 warranty unless we give them an extra 60 just in case they mess up? I won't return. I hope that others seek glasses elsewhere. These are subpar glasses and they know it. She recommended that we contact the store manager in hopes that she show some sort of pity or perhaps honor and make things right. Next years vsp will not be headed into your pockets vision works and yes I am angry.

My experience here was amazing! I went in yesterday (memorial day) and we weren’t able to get my insurance information pulled up, but that did not stop them from getting all the information they could get me on insurance coverage and pricing! I went in first thing this morning and the manager personally called the insurance and after 4 failed attempts was able to get ahold of them! After everything I was able to pick my glasses up within 45 minutes and she quickly adjusted them to fit my face! My experience here was great!

I had a horrible experience at this particular location. I wasn't greeted or acknowledged when I entered the business. I personally work with the public and so I know how important it is to acknowledge your customers when they enter into your business. I know this is not a good way to start off a good customer experience. I had to get someone's attention because the staff on duty looked like they were busy. Actually they were really just talking amongst themselves in the waiting area. I informed the young lady who finally acknowledged me that I had an appointment so she instructed me to have a seat over there. I sat in the area that she pointed me to go sit down at. The young lady called my name to assist me and then she asked me why was I sitting over there when I should have been sitting in the back waiting near the desk in the back of the store. I told her that you didn't specify where exactly to sit at. So I sat down where I thought was a good place to sit at. My whole entire experience was horrible and have a large family and we will never step foot in this place again. I have taken my business somewhere else. You really need to clean house and get a new staff who is friendly and understands that word of mouth can kill a business. Now that is some food for thought!!!! THIS PLACE IS THE WORST !!!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT WAIT YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!!!!!!

For three years I’ve attempted contact lenses over and over again. I have never been able to until now because of the wonderful Dr. Davenport, Becca, and Abby. They were so patient and kind as I struggled to put in contacts. Their guidance and helpful tricks turned the scariest task into an easy routine. After putting in both contacts for the first time, I burst into tears. After so many failed attempts these three years, 20 minutes was all they needed, I had gotten them in! When I put my contacts in for a second time, I was blown away by how easy it really was. I can not thank these three people enough, they’ve changed my life. I can see without having to push up my glasses, wipe them clean from water, or clean them every hour. Thank you so much! I knew I had to wait a few days to write this review, and I’m glad I did! The day before traveling, as a new contact user, I accidentally ripped my contact. I called the site and Becca answered. She told me to come down right away and sorted out how I was going to be able to travel and wear contacts. She went above and beyond when I was nervous and scared, which is extremely rare in customer service nowadays! Thank you all so much.

After many years with the same glasses, it was time for new ones. The staff took their time with my testing and helping me find the best ones for me. Rachel helped with not only my daily wear glasses, but also the coolest safety glasses in my Welding Engineering class. She didn't stop there. She was also able to find a way to update the lenses in my old frames so I would have a back up pair, and still stay within my budget. For what I expected to pay for one pair, I got 3. These guys are amazing. I wasn't rushed into buying, but shown options and all my questions and concerns were taken care of. I won't go anywhere else from now on. Need glasses, look no farther. This is where you need to go.

Dr. Davenport is awesome . While performing the eye exam he explains everything he is doing and why, shows photos of your eyes on the computer screen. He is very personable and funny. It is obvious he really enjoys what he does. That's important. The consultants were likewise, friendly, knowledgeable and low key. Becca was my consultant and she was totally transparent about the frames, lenses, options and price. I never felt like I was being "sold" as I have at other opticians. There was no pressure to purchase anything I didn't need. I have not picked up my new glasses yet but if that goes like the exam and purchasing process, I'll say the entire experience was above and beyond my expectations. They set the bar really high!

The actual Dr was great. The office staff was AWFUL rude and unprofessional. I have never been treated so poorly just to order a supply of contacts. I will NEVER return to this location again!! I called the Liberty store and they were SO helpful and fixed my issue instantly!
