Because of a change in medical coverage, the eye doctor I had been going to for years would not except the new coverage. So I found a different doctor that would except the new insurance at the Reifschneider Eye Center and I'm glad I did. I have visited Dr. Holland twice and I highly recommend the Reifschneider Eye Center.

Dr Reifschneider is just awesome!. He operated on my daughter's eyes when she was just 2 yrs old. She had really severe strabismus that affected her ability to see what was in front of her. Having been seen at Children's Mercy Ophthalmology when glasses and taping one eye closed failed they recommended surgery to correct it. I went to Dr. Reifschneider for a 2nd opinon. He was so good with my daughter and took the time to explain exactly why despite her young age corrective surgery was necessary and offered to do the surgery on her so we didn't have to travel all the way to Children's Mercy. He operated on her eyes a few weeks later and he did such a terrific job that she never had to have a revision done and by the age of 13 no longer needed glasses. She is now a young adult and still has 20/20 vision in both eyes and no problems.
