Mike Meadows and his team really care. I know--I've been a customer there for 27 years. They also use the much BETTER lens grinding lab in town, far superior corrections than the lab used by the cheap $69 folks. Their frame choice is excellent and current---my most recent frames have netted me over 200 compliments from strangers, eg at movie theatres. And cost me $220 compared to other frames I had shipped in for my perusal by a designer shop in the Central West End of St. Louis--the $550 ones. When I was disabled and had to recover while living in a Shawnee nursing home for 90 days, I looked up--and there was Mike, visiting all the patients at Shawnee Gardens, giving FREE adjustments to their eyeglasses. Today I went in for a free adjustment, (they're right next to PriceChopper) and Mike noticed the scratch I'd just gotten on my brand new pair--my carelessness. He looked it up, they were still in the 2 year warranty so he's ordering me a new lens--that saved me a bunch. You don't get that kind of care elsewhere.
