I had a last-minute need to see an optometrist to get a contact lens prescription before a trip. Not only did the excellent staff at Littlefield Eye Associates work me in, but the doctor herself was fantastic. I'll admit, I had recently been disappointed at another optometrists office who was trying to up-sell me on every little thing, but my experience at Littlefield with Dr. Yates was second-to-none. She took the time to speak to me in detail about some specific issues with my eyes that no other doctor had taken the time to discuss with me. She was warm and caring while maintaining her professional demeanor. I was immediately put at-ease as a patient, and will never go anywhere else as long as I am living in Kansas City. I cannot recommend Dr. Yates and her staff enough!

I love Littlefield! Dr. Grimes is great. He's very kind and knowledgeable. I've been going there for at least five years now. They have weekend hours even which are very convenient. They are very patient about adjusting your glasses and have great service. I'd recommend this to everybody!

They claim to open at 7 but there are no doctors there until 10. Their website should state something about that so people who need to see an eye doctor don't waste their time.

Dr. Grimes ROCKS! He takes lots of time to explore all options and helped me select the very best contact lens option. He listens to my personal budget, eye habits and unique vision challenges and guides me to make decisions that are the best for me. He is patient --- if the first choice doesn't work out, he'll keep at it until we get to the best choice. I never feel rushed or ignored (as I have at other places). I won't go anywhere else!

I met with Dr. Kristen Yates for the first time this past week. It was easy to schedule an appointment, the office was comfortable and the staff was friendly. My exam was easy and they appear to have the latest technology. Dr. Yates took her time and answered all my questions. I was very pleased with the service and expertise. Dr. Yates was fine, but the rest of the experience has been sorely lacking. I found the receptionists to be rude. The other staff kept trying to upsell me on things I don't need. I made the mistake of ordering a pair of glasses from them. I placed the order over three weeks ago and have yet to get them-- apparently, they came in over two weeks ago and the office didn't bother to contact me to let me know they were in. (I was told I would receive a phone call and/or a text. I didn't get either one.) When I called them to check the status on my order, I got the office voicemail and left a message. No response. I called again, only to find out that they've had my glasses for over two weeks. I go to pick them up only to find that they close at noon on Fridays. They've lost my business, as well as my husband's. He made an appointment the week after I did. He sat in the reception area for over an hour, waiting to be seen. He finally had to leave because he had not anticipated spending two and a half hours at a routine eye appointment. Frankly, we got better service at America's Best.

Littlefield Eye Assoc office is a great place to get care. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I have rarely waited more than a few mins for Dr Yates to call me in for the appt. Dr Yates is very professional and friendly. She explains everything thoroughly; doesn't rush you through, but doesn't waste your time either. My kids and I would definitely recommend this practice.

I love going to Littlefield Eye Associates. They stay current with new testing, imaging and lense tech and are super friendly and helpful. I go here for my frames, lenses and eye appointments. Most importantly, if you're willing to pay 35 bucks you don't have to walk around half the day with your eyes dilated and all wacked out. It's worth the extra cost and it's a much clearer image. Great for those of us who need to pay attention to small changes in our eyes. Check them out, they rock!

Wow! Just, wow! In a world where I'm becoming convinced that customer service is dead I run across this little gem. My glasses broke over the weekend so I needed to find someone that could fix them onsite (and not send them on a slow boat to China). They said to bring them in and they''d see what they could do. After a few seconds she came out and suggested I go next door and get a cup of coffee and they'd be done in a few. I did and they were! All the ladies were very friendly and helpful and I listened to them take care of their patients while I waited with the same superb attention and kindness. We will be moving our family's eye care to them from now on.

Dr. Grimes and his staff of awesome professionals have always taken the best care of my needs. The last check-up (and all the previous ones) have been outstandig. The selection of a frame and their attention to my prescription surpassed my highest expectations. More important, my last visit to Dr Grimes did not only cover my eye thorough heck-up, it was also an education session during which I learned EVERYTHING I need for the best care of my vision during my golden years. The good: Very nice staff and doctors, very helpful, very up front about procedures and costs. could be improved: Office hours that match working hours for most people requiring time off for a visit; they have a broad selection of frame manufacturers, but not many models from each manufacturer, they make up for this by being willing to order any specific model you want.

I was desperate. I noticed flashes in my eye . I did some research on the internet . There was a possibility that it could be serious and to see a doctor in 24 hours to have it addressed. I contacted Dr.Grimes' office at Littlefield Eye Associates. His staff sprang into action. They said Dr.Grimes would be consulted and they'd get right back with me. They called me back right away. Because they were so busy that day , Dr.Grimes agreed to see me during his lunch hour! Dr.Grimes was great and his staff was courteous and professional. In my opinion Dr. Grimes is a valuable asset, not only to his profession, but also his community. He's always patient, thorough, clear in all explanations, professional, and, no matter how obscure the question, has a very knowledgeable answer. It's good, every so often, to run into a person in the service industry that seems to have been born to what he/she is doing, and doing it with caring enthusiasm. I've recommended Littlefield's to everyone who's looking for a good optometrist.

Dr. Yates was great and took plenty of time to answer questions and try on multiple types of contacts since my eyes were being stubborn. My only suggestion is they have a better selection of lower budget glasses, as they tend to have more of the ones that are $200 or more.

I’ve been to other eye doctors where they judge you for the questions you ask or think you were stupid for asking or where they shove their opinions of different frames down your throats. I kind of just thought that was normal. When we starting coming here, I realized how wrong I had been. No question is stupid. I love picking out frames here, because they help you find some, narrow them down, and don’t give an opinion unless you ask for it or have already picked which glasses you’re getting. You cannot go wrong with Littlefield Eye Associates!

I had a contact lens break in my eye and I couldn't find one of the pieces. My optometrist was already out of the office 4:45 on a Thursday. Littlefield was two blocks from my house and open until 6pm. They got me in right away and only charged me $30. I'm very happy and might try them for my next eye exam.
