Spencer and Lisa offer exceptional products and are extremely customer oriented. They have a keen understanding of the type of design that will look good on the customer, so it is easy to trust them to choose glasses for you to try on. We did have some problems with my husband's Feb 31st glasses that were special ordered from the company. They took almost three months to get in and then broken twice due to problems with manufacturing, so they were out of his possession for several months. As a gesture of good faith, Spencer and Lisa offered both of us a free pair of glasses of our choice. We decided on Lindberg for my spouse and Iyoko Inyake for myself, and they paid for my husband's lenses as well. They totally didn't need to give me a free pair of glasses but I certainly wasn't going to turn them down. He was also able to keep the Feb 31st glasses when they were manufactured correctly, and due to the repeated manufacturing errors, the owner of Feb 31st was generous enough to give us a pair of free glasses as well. We haven't had a problem with the Feb 31st glasses since and it has been almost a year since the problem was rectified. Lisa and Spencer went well above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, and all their products are warrantied. They have gained two loyal customers for life, so I would definitely recommend them to others. On a side note, the store is extremely dog friendly. I brought my dog on a car ride to pick up my glasses and Lisa encouraged me to bring her in even though I was worried she might have an accident due to repeated urinary tract infections. Then, she loved on her for about 30 minutes. So kind.

EXCELLENT variety of unique, designer frames offered in a stylish boutique setting. The owners of this company literally seem to stock thousands of frames from companies I had never heard of before going into their store (highly recommend checking out the Lindberg frames). More important, the owners of EyeStyle Optics operate their store with character and integrity--I wouldn't go anywhere else to purchase my eyewear.

SELECTION: A+ Every frame feels like it “earned” a spot on the showroom floor. There are no duds. The inventory is elegant, thoughtful, balanced, and substantial (without being overwhelming). QUALITY: A+ Eye Style Optics appears to carry only hard-to-find, luxury, boutique brands. Many are handmade and exclusive (or semi-exclusive) within the Kansas City metro area, and none can be found at places like Lens Crafters. PRICES: A+ Given the quality of merchandise and standard of service, prices are excellent. Certainly the average frame will cost more than the average frame at Walmart, but you get a better looking, better made, and better fitting frame delivered with better service and backed by a better warranty. SERVICE: A+ I worked mostly with owner Lisa McDermott, but some with co-owner Spencer Lowe, too. I found both to be exceptionally friendly, sincere, helpful, and knowledgeable. There was no arm-twisting, manipulation, or high-pressure sales tactics of any kind. I asked a lot of questions and took a lot of time to make my final buying decision, and they accommodated my slow decision-making with big smiles and great patience. OVERALL: A+ I am 46-years old and have worn glasses since I was 9. Eye Style Optics delivers the best combination of luxury frame selection and customer service that I have ever experienced. I can’t imagine shopping any place else for eyewear.
