I'm not much of a Shopko guy, but I will say that their shoe selection is among the best in the area. If you're looking for a decent deal on high quality shoes- go here. Skip the rest of the dark, ugly store. One can only take so much beige.

Went in on 7-13-17. Around 730 pm, so wasn't busy at all. I had a coupon I had received in the mail it said had to use with loyalty card..ok..so I asked to sign up for one. The cashier said I couldn't use the coupon tonight because the manager has to put my info in for the loyalty card..instead of calling for the manager or asking if I minded to wait so a manager could do that. I told her well I need this stuff, but I planned this trip for this reason. (I do not live in Mason City)..after she rung up my 2 comforters and 2 outfits for my oldest 2 yr old, she just put them on the counter. She didn't put them in the basket, or even offer to help put them in the basket (even though I only had 1 hand free, the other holding my 2 year old)...I have worked in retail since I was 16..jcp for almost 5 yrs and I know how to treat people! 2 stars because the comforters were on a good sale and good quality.

I walked through while waiting for my jeep to get its brakes fixed. It appeared to be a curious mix of a Kohl's and a Target. The fact that the Christmas aisles out numbered the Halloween aisles was ridiculous! ! And the Halloween aisles were not in a prime spot like the Christmas ones. So NOT a great first and likely last visit.

For a store that is closing the prices sure dont reflect that. A couch and recliner set I looked at 4 months ago has now tripled in price!! The store itself is clean except where customers have thrown things about and staff hasn't been able to get it all picked up and put away.

Shopped here last week, electronics are fairly gone, there is still furniture, tons of bedding, some left over Samsonite lugage from last year's Younkers close out ( it is the same liquidation firm) cloths , kitchan gadgets and store fixtures.

I placed an online order on 11/23 and received it today, 11/30. It was supposed to be 2 day shipping but that didn’t happen. The box it came in is the worst I have ever seen. It was completely destroyed and taped over! The items inside were damaged so I took it back to the store. When I got there, she scanned the barcode and it rang up something else less in price. Then she argued with me about whether or not they sold the product in the store which clearly they did since I had a SHOPKO receipt with the product on it! Terrible service, terrible online shopping experience with Shopko. If you want to compete with Amazon, you need to step up your game!

Shopko in Mason City had always been a nice clean store with some floor staff available to help if needed. Today needed to look for a memory stick. Layout had changed but found them. Had a sale on too. Worth a stop when you are looking for something.

I had a stay in Mason City. Everywhere I went in town the people were super nice and Shopko was not an exception. I needed something from the pharmacy. Even though they were busy I got my order quite fast. They were very nice too.
