This was my first visit! The receptionist and nurse were very welcoming and great to work with. They helped me pick out glasses and they really were great at finding things that fit within my needs! Plus very friendly and nice to be around. Dr. Neighbors was very professional, patient, answered my questions and gave me in-depth answers! Great bedside manner! He seemed to truly care about my health!

Great doctor Mr.Neighbors. However the office staff are terrible and didn't follow up with my appointment to finalize my prescription and then proceeded to play games about releasing my prescription to me.

Needed to get in same day due to having a couple eyelashes growing in towards my eye and causing discomfort. Saw me same day. Dr. Neighbors, and staff, were friendly and efficient. Pulled out the lashes, no pain, and instant relief. Then they helped me find the best deal on a pair of glasses/sunglasses. Took the time to make sure I was leaving there happy. My new eye spot!

The Dr was awesome. However, I called a week in advance to give them my son's insurance. He just switched insurance so it was new. They told me it wasn't coming up that he was approved. On day of service my son presented his insurance card and they handed it back to him WITHOUT calling to verify the insurance and told him he should have a different insurance and so they made him pay out of pocket. I called the same day and the staff in the office are rude and very un helpful. Refused to give me number to billing department. I did get transferred and found out that they ASSUMED my son had a different insurance so instead of verifying they just decided he had no insurance. I not only told them his insurance info AGAIN, I faxed over from the insurance website PROOF that he had coverage. So now we have to wait for them to bill the insurance and then see if they decide to reimburse my son or not. Even though the Dr is GREAT I would not recommend this place.

If you are looking for an eye care doctor, I would highly recommend Altoona EyeCare. Dr. Neighbors is the best. He is very thorough and very good about taking the time to be sure any & all my questions were answered. Their front desk staff are amazing as well, very friendly and eager to assist with scheduling appointments, answering questions, selecting & fitting glasses. Top Notch staff. Thank You.

If your needing an eye exam or glasses I suggest Altoona Eye Care. Dr Neighbors is excellent and very good with people. My husband and I both found him very kind, gentle, and concerned about our eyecare. I appreciate how thorough the staff was documenting medications and health issues, so the doctor can make a sound judgement. Very pleasant and clean atmosphere. Love the kindness and helpfulness of the staff.

The staff in the front are wonderful, kind, and patient. The doctor i saw was also very patient, great bed side manner, and very helpful. I would recommend these lovely folks to anyone.
