I have been a patient of Target for 5 almost going on 6 years and never had a problem until I had to deal with Brooke starting this last year. I have had to deal with her a few times and every time has not been pleasant. She seems like she's always in a rush, never pleasant on the phone, seems irritated when asking her questions. Today I called to see if my new insurance was accepted and it seemed like it would exhaust her beyond if she had to look it up. She just simply said she didn't "think" it was accepted. I asked if she knew 100% because she seemed very unsure with her answer. At that time she said "I guess I can check," I told her forget it and let her know my awful experience with her. She "apologized" which I didn't accept because it wasn't genuine and once again felt rushed off the phone. I will never go to this center again which is incredibly unfortunate because the optometrists has always been so great to work with. Hopefully someone reads this and takes it serious, if not I'm sure more people will drop off. There is a lack of professionalism I've noticed this last year at this center. Best of luck to Target and Brooke- maybe take a vacation and lighten up. If you don't like working at Target Optical which is incredibly clear I suggest finding something you would find joy in. I was in a great mood today until I had to speak with you. Good luck all!

The young lady Sylvia who helped me at the Target Optical in Springfield Mall was absolutely wonderful! I had walked in a few minutes and started checking out the glasses when she smiled and told me she'd be right with me since she was busy helping a customer. I said no hurry, take your time -- it would take me a while to look through everything. When it was my turn, she was extremely helpful, telling me which lenses would work best for my multi focal condition. She was so patient and also tried to help me in the best way financially, making sure to save me the most money, i.e. using my vision insurance EyeMed for my contact lens order and taking 50% off my eyeglass order. What should've cost me almost $800 ended up costing me $395, which I thought was very reasonable for a year's supply of contacts and a pair of eyeglasses (originally $149) with progressive & transition (for sunlight)! Thank you for all your help today, Sylvia -- I really appreciate the excellent customer service I received from you!

I work at a hospital with and optical department. Even with my insurance and “employee discount” I was still going to need to pay 300$ out of pocket for progressives. Not to mention the frame selection is horrible and I felt like I was buying a used car. I got the perfect frames good lenses online from Target Optical. I paid extra for next day air and spent about 120$, after insurance. They arrived lighting fast and are perfect. Granted, you need to know your measurements to properly choose frames, but that is not hard to figure out. I will definitely be ordering again

Dr. Kim Nguyen is fantastic. She is so helpful and professional. She told me prices up front and was very knowledgeable on insurance. I felt as if she was looking out for my best interest. I’ll definitely go back to see her next year!

Waited over 2 weeks. Never recieved a call. Finally I call them and they say my glasses were ready. I sent my husband to pick them up and they arent what I picked out AT ALL. Spent a fortune even with my insurance all for nothing. I could have gone anywhere else, spent less, and got exactly what I ordered. I cant wait for them to open. Im pissed!

I just ordered new contacts and can see great with my trials of multi-focal lens for presbyopia. It can be kind of tricky to get lens that work for distance, computer work, reading and driving at night but after a couple tries I now have succeeded with the help of Dr. Kim Hall. It was worth the drive for me.

Everybody is great at Dr. Hall's office. Super efficient, quick exam time, and they are looking out for my best interest when it came to my benefits. They completed the available rebate for me and got the best price up front using all of my availble benefits for the year so that nothing would be lost or wasted. Really appreciate all the ladies and Dr. did. They even shipped my contacts directly to my house and it took less than 5 days to get to me. Best experience I've had with eye docs and we will continue to come back to this location for my entire family.

Had a good first experience on my visit there. Dr. McClaughlin was friendly and thorough. The employees were also helpful. It went smoothly. The selection of glasses is not huge but okay. Should get my glasses in 7-10 days.

i called the target optical at the carmel-west location this morning. i have no eye insurance so was seeing how much just lenses were for a pair of frames i already have. the girl was nice let me know they start around $60 and i could come in and have them look and give me a price there. i asked if an appointment was needed and she said no. i then drove my 30 min drive to target just for this reason. i walk in, kind of busy.. a girl (( olderish gray short hair with glasses )) looks at me and asked quickly if i needed help.. she seemed rushed, i said i did have a question about the lenses, explained my situation to her.. she again seemed rushed saying depends on me prescription .. i pulled out my prescription she the rushed behind the desk to check the price and told me how much it would be .. then shockingly .. i was dismissed. the phone started ringing and she proceeded to pick it up literally as i'm staring at her about to begin to ask another question. i laughed and walked out. that lady just lost a frequent target shopper and business at the target optical center. so rude and i am so upset. i was hoping to give target my business and allow them to help me but she literally could have cared less. thanks.

After a horrible experience of trying to book an appointment at "America's Worst Eyeglasses", we were yelled and berated by a rude manager when we questioned a cancellation of a family member's appointment, we needed to get an appointment somewhere fast. Target Optical was fantastic in the fact that they could book us for an appointment in such short notice. Upon entering the office, we were politely greeted by Steve and Hayley. Throughout our experience, they were incredibly polite, helpful, and knowledgeable about the products and services that they provide. The service skills of the two doctors assistants is unmatched anywhere in the entire New Orleans metro area. Dr. Moses was also very competent and friendly. He was very approachable to ask questions. Furthermore, his examinations were quick and thorough, partly due to utilizing some of the latest technologies available. In short: Target Optical is incredible, and I would highly recommend them to anyone, even on the northshore!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Target's Optical Department. My first experience with them was late in the day and I was on business in Baton Rouge, LA severalty years ago. My vision is horrible, and my frames broke in half. My night vision is also poor, and I needed to drive home to New Orleans. The staff there went above and beyond to find a set of glasses that night to accommodate my complicated prescription so I could drive home safely. Today, I had a similar experience with the Metairie location at Clearview Mall. Steve was off-the-chart amazing (and funny) and so was Dr. Moses. Once again, they went above and beyond to work with me and my insurance dilemma to ensure that I got not only the best price, but the best care and attention as well. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Experiencing this level of customer service these days is very rare!!! Thank you both so very much! You are the best!!!
