Heidi is the BEST! She has a vast knowledge of eyewear, materials, and designers. You can tell she is excellent with face shapes. I causully stopped in yesterday to look around. Heidi picked out the coolest frames I probably wouldn't have tried and I loved them. I mentioned I had an eye doctor appointment today in Indiana so I would wait for lenses. I bought the frames and had them shipped to waive the tax since I live in Northwest Indiana. I received an email at 5:01 yesterday evening telling me they were shipping out then. I literally received them THIS AFTERNOON, with the sweetest note from Heidi! Now I can have my lenses put in TODAY. This is what amazing customer service feels like! I will be back!

This is my favorite optical shop for years. I have been wearing glasses for a long time and have finally found a place with expert staff and phenomenal customer service. They understand complex lenses (high index, astigmatism etc) always make the BEST frames suggestions and have gone above and beyond to fix my Alain Mikli hinge last summer. I have 4 pairs of glasses from here and there’s not a day when I don’t get compliments. Absolutely superb, many friends go there now too!

I get glasses and contacts. I have wacky eyes so vision and especially contacts can be a challenge. Dr. Park does a great job for me with my contacts. He also has strong suggestions on what geometry of frames I should favor for the best lens (flat). This place has a huge variety of swanky frames if you need them. I chose slightly conservative with a bit of surprise. The glasses staff readily assist with comments and suggestions which is why I go here. I appreciate that input. They also take my work's insurance which is nice. I've been going here since 2008.

I've been going to D/Vision for over three years now, and I couldn't be happier with them--I've referred over a half dozen of my friends from the office and they've all come away happy customers (with cool glasses :-). Ezra is very helpful and thorough, and most importantly, takes the time to explain everything he discovers from your exam--most eye doctors are in a big hurry to push you out the door and railroad their next patient in, but not Ezra. In the front of the house, folks are extremely friendly, and very customer-oriented. Chris has taken the time to show me dozens and dozens of frames--always patient, and always willing to give his opinion and not just tell me what I want to hear (and believe me, for someone as fashion-retarded as I am, that's really appreciated). Lastly, they take my vision insurance (VSP) and that's really the icing on the cake, because some of the really fancy frames can get a little pricey--not that they're cheaper anywhere else--it's just the nature of the beast. Anyway, it's a great business, and I hope to keep going there for my exams and glasses (my wife is a customer too!) for years to come. Even though I don't live anywhere near the office, I gladly hop off the Blue line at Division for the two block walk over to their office.

D/Vision has been my "GO TO" for eye wear for about the last 7 years. Probably the best selection of higher end glasses that you'll find anywhere in Chicago. The staff is awesome, they're very experienced, knowledgeable and they work as a team, often consulting one another on what looks best on me. I travel from the SW suburb of Oak Lawn to Wicker Park to shop with them... there's no reason to shop anywhere else!

Totally dishonest business practices. Lied to me, wasted my time, charged me a huge amount of money and I didn't leave with functioning glasses. Only after a LONG battle was I able to leave with empty frames - I left $300 short and will never ever go back.

The future can be seen at D/Vision! No dilation of the eye with solution. Only the newest in technology to give a better picture that you can see in minutes with Dr Park. He is excellent at communicating very complex medical terminology in a clear and uncomplicated manner. Super happy they take VSP, too. Always the best staff helping find THE frames for your style and budget range. Even though it is my old neighborhood, I always come back to support them. Good people are worth it the trip!
