Proof donated a pair of sunglasses for the third year to the Elmore County Pheasants Forever Banquet and when I went to pick up the glasses I was meet by the nicest and friendliest staff. I left buying my own pair of glasses due to their hospitality, great selection and amazing prices. I love buying local!!!!

Buyer beware. Had two pairs of sunglasses lose grommets but they apparently don't stock the small parts. Offered a discount to buy a fully new pair. Bought a third pair on a First Thursday ad, and they snapped a month later. It was not advertised as such, but they are apparently final sale and the only offer was an exchange for a discount on a new pair that will more than likely break again. Beautiful glasses but they don't hold up well.

Buying online was a nightmare, I was sent a used product and getting a hold of customer service was not only upsetting but response took more than 48hours at times. I loved the product selection and the mission of this business...I think the in-store experience would have been more rewarding. I won't buy again because I don't feel that I can trust this company to send me an unused product. 5/5. For the company and it's mission but -2 for poor customer support, product misrepresentation, and return process. I suggest visiting the store for a more rewarding experience.

I’ve had proofs since day one. What amazing glasses and people. I love that Proof is engaged in the community and the world in good works. Plus the glasses are so cool. It’s not infrequent that a stranger looks over at my glasses and compliments them. Proof stays current while maintaining a classic cool look as well. Can’t say enough good about them. I love their sunglasses, but their return policy and service was disappointing. They refused to accept an unworn pair of sunglasses only a week after I purchased it. The sunglasss were in flawless condition, a fact confirmed by the employee working at the store. However, because I had purchased in cash and did not have my recipet, he claimed they could not accept the sunglasses. I even suggested they simply exchange it for in store credit so I could pick out a different pair. Nope, apparently they had a strict return policy which I was not told when I first purchased them. Be careful you really like your style before you purchase, and keep your receipt.

I love this brand!! It's nice to have such an environmental company in Boise! The inventory in the store is not all of what they have. You might have to look online to see the others styles or limited edition. I love the transparency of the company and appreciate their devotion to Fair wages as well. I will be a lifelong customer!

Attended Boise StartUp week and heard one of Proofs founders speak. I was excited to check out the flagship store which unfortunately I've missed all this time I've been in Boise. SAM was incredibly helpful. Sam helped customize the fit and the pair came with a free wooden box, drawstring bag and a free business card holder box! Definitely worth at least walking through this store it smells great! ( ´◡‿ゝ◡`)

#1 Shades out there. Went in and Jesse hooked it up! He explained everything about the product, company, and their values. So not only are the shades bio degradable but 10% is going to their non profit goals! I literally walked out feeling like I got a great deal and am proud to buy local!

If your glasses break, they'll fight about trying to replace them. Don't buy wooden frames, not only do they break easy but the layers come unglued after a month or less of daily use. I've had to replace my frames 5 times in under 6 months, the first pair became unglued in under a month. They've treated me so poorly every time I've gone in for a replacement that I'm afraid to go in again, I'd rather buy a completely new set (which is very, very expensive). Will never buy from them again.

I bought 8 customized stained wood wallets from Proof Eyewear. The quality of the wallets is great and the engravings came out really well. Dan was so helpful in getting everything set up for the customization. The wallets were even ready the next day for us to pick up!

The store is welcoming and their employees were helpful. Local company helping make the world a better place. Check out their "Do Good" campaign. Their sunglasses are made exceptionally. I have purchased 4 pairs now, have had no issue with any of them. Of the 4 pairs, I still have 3. The one - My wife stepped on (Federal Wood), they only partially broke and I was able to wear them for another month after the fact. Most sunnies would not have survived at all! Went into the store to get a new pair when I could no longer wear them, their service was above and beyond (Levi helped me while I was in there). I'll definitely keep coming back!

Hell yeah! If your in Boise, support local and buy a pair of wooden sunglasses at Proof. I own the recycled skateboard sunglasses and my wife has the McCall's sunglasses. They have other wooden items as well, but between the customer service and the items we purchased, I'll buy more from them again.

I wanted to blast out my experience with Proof. I ordered two pairs of glasses from the company, one for my wife, one for myself. They honestly lasted for a good while, but on the same camping trip, the hinge portion on both sunglasses came undone. Irony. I emailed the company with pictures and worked a warranty claim through. Dan, their Rep, sends me a new pairs and as I'm barely using my new pair, I feel this small poke in my forehead. The wood had splintered slightly, causing it to poke in my forehead. My guess was that it was damaged in transit, as they did not come in the cool little wood boxes. I emailed Dan again, hoping they could do something and he came through. I offered to pay at least shipping, since they've been extraordinary for me. He sent me a new pair without much hassle. Thanks Proof, you've earned my business.

I got a pair of their Ada sunglasses and turned them into regular glasses and they have been my favorite pair of glasses... ever. I can definitely rate them extremely high on the durability factor. After more than a year of 24/7 wear the wood doesn't have a single scratch or notch in it. They are extremely comfortable and stay on the face even when sweating, rafting, hiking, or riding roller coasters. Also, being an Idaho owned and operated brand I have a great story to tell whenever somebody compliments my glasses!!
