Lost four customers. Had an issue with insurance, they were misinformed about the coverage and refused to make one simple phone call to fix it, instead pushing that I pay out of pocket. Sandy the desk girl kept refusing to make this call and get the proper paperwork sent in order to have things fixed. Instead she insisted she was right and kept pushing I pay right then and there. Cancelled the entire families appointments and will NEVER return. If your desk people can't admit to a mistake and won't work to fix it, then they don't need to be trusted with my eyesight and care. Hard to tell the quality of the Doctor if you can't even make it past the front desk.

The whole staff here seems to love their job. Everybody is always in a good mood, friendly, and eager to help. I've never had an eye exam so thorough. They've got machines that I never knew existed, and can only assume are the latest technology in eye care. The employees and the doctor are particularly good at educating customers about everything from eye health, to procedural expectations, to the best type of glasses for your lifestyle. The quality of the glasses are top notch (none of that dangerous shattering stuff you'll find at Costco and Walmart). They custom make their lenses at an in-house lab, and I hear they can finish them in only an hour. Honestly, I can't imagine going anywhere else for my annual eye exams.

We love Dr Breazeal and his whole staff! Our whole family has been seeing him for a few years and he always takes great care and time with us. My girls are 5 and 7 and they love going and having their eyes checked and trying on all the different glasses and of course the sucker at the end! Dr B even discovered abnormalities on my daughters and my retinas. They are the best and we just love them!

I’m extremely dis-satisfied with the practice. When I ordered my glasses I was told it would take 7 days for them to be completely. 7 days has come and past. Now I’m being told that they will not be complete until the 19th which is 3 weeks from the time I ordered them. It should not take this long. Especially when I can go to a store that gets thousands of prescriptions a day and they can mail my order in and have them back in less than a week. Not only that but every time I’ve called the staff has been rude

Great place! Staff is friendly and helpful. Large selection of reasonably priced frames and extras were less than other places had quoted. They also take care of patients with glaucoma if that is a concern. If you are looking for quality at a reasonable price, this is the place to go to!

If you are looking for an eye doctor who prioritizes your health and comfort over a bigger paycheck, don't go here. After I told the doctor I was coming in for just an eye exam and and I was going to buy my glasses online, he seemed very annoyed. This reflected on my eye exam as he told me my vision hadn't changed whatsoever over the course of 3 years, and gave a prescription for lenses I can hardly see out of. I'd advise to go elsewhere.

Dr. Breazeal and his staff are #1! I have been seeing him since I first started wearing glasses in the sixth grade. I would never think of going to any other optometrist. He genuinely cares about you and your eye health. He has always gone above and beyond to provide the absolute best service for me. He is extremely knowledgeable, as well as his staff. Hailey, the manager, has been with Dr. Breazeal ever since I can remember and she is just as kind and knowledgeable. What do I love about Eye Guys? Oh. My. Goodness. Well, first there is the staff. These girls are AMAZING! So kind and friendly and very knowledgeable. Hailey Robb is awesome at picking out just the right frames for me. I love her sense of style and what looks good! Dr. Braizelle is the best. He never tries to get you to buy what you don’t need. And he is so extremely patient when you say all of the letters look the same! If you want an Optometrist who is patient and kind and knows what he is doing and has an incredible staff then the Eye Guys in Hayden is the perfect place to go for contacts and glasses! I’ve been going for 3 years and wouldn’t dream of going any place else!

I don’t even know where to begin or where to start, but here goes nothing.. So far I’ve had two experiences with this company and I haven’t looked back. This place is amazing! I had never had an eye exam before, and decided that it was probably time to do so. The friendly and informative staff of EyeGuys helped me correct my minor vision issues, and fit me with some really great frames. The process was quick, thorough, and it’s obvious that these people know what they’re doing. The store doesn’t just carry glasses/contacts for vision correction, but they also have a huge variety of Sunglasses too. A few months back in the summer I was in need of some new shades so on a limb I popped into the store just to see if i could find something - quad shot Americano in hand from Thomas Hammer. The variety was outstanding. They had many well known brands such as Smith, Ray Bans, and Oakley’s etc.. Again, the helpful staff really assisted me on this one. I tried on multiple pairs of shades with one of the EyeGals, and she worked with me until I found the perfect pair. This staff will make sure your glasses actually fit your face and look good on you, and they won’t just sell you any old pair of glasses. This was huge for me and I loved that aspect of my experience. I ended up going with a pair of Shwood sunglasses and I’ve been so happy with them and have never looked so stylish. Now anytime I drive down Sherman Ave with the windows down in the Prius I get more recognition and respect because of my frames. Grandmas wave, the cowboy tips his hat, the barista winks, and then I smile right back and keep driving with one hand on the wheel. Long review short - Check Eyeguys out. My two experiences there have been excellent, and in my opinion you will not go wrong.

Best treatment, quality, and overall experience I've had in my life -- that's approximately 22 years of optometry. Can't recommend enough. Complimentary high quality coffee, check; extremely respectable, competent and friendly doctor, check; knowledgeable, well stocked staff, check; quality, attractive frame stock, check. My appointment involved no waiting, despite numerous customers in-house. Only thing I would point out is that this is for people who have money. I don't, but my insurance covered most of the bill. My total bill came out to over $500. They don't have low cost lenses.

This place is outstanding. The facility is beautiful and almost has a "coffee shop" feel. The office ladies are very kind, helpful and professional. Dr. Brazeal's assistant, Sonya, was gentle and informative while she helped perform a couple of tests. Dr. Brazeal himself was fantastic! He spent a good amount of time with me and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend visiting this place if you're shopping for new eye-wear or need an exam.

Don’t waste your time!! I would give them zero stars if it was possible. I spent nearly 3 hours there for them to try to contact my insurance and give me a quote. It was $200 more than North Idaho Eye Institute, but I liked the frames. I asked if I could just buy those and how much it would be. She told me the frames would be $140 with my insurance. I finally decided to just pay the price and order the whole thing. We spent another half hour getting all that together, then she informed me that she forgot one of the charges and it would be $75 more. I just said “I’ll just buy the frames then.” Then she told me “Well did they tell you that we can’t bill your insurance for just the frames? They will be $230.“. I could not believe it! They had written down the quote, but would not honor it, just said “ I apologize.“. Not good enough. I walked out, furious at wasting most of my afternoon.

Ive been wearing glasses for 28 years. Contacts for over 20. A few years back I was going to the big box store eye docs. One day I developed an issue in my eyes that prevented me from wearing contacts. Several doctors prescribed me this, told me that and months and months later I chalked it up as I would no longer be able to wear contacts again. Since then, I heard about eyeguys. One exam, a consultation and Dr Breazeal knew exactly the fix. That was going on 3 years ago and I have never had contact wear be so comfortable. Thank you Dr Breazeal! We were happy to find Eyeguys Optical, the Dr’s were VERY helpful and the office staff goes the extra mile to ensure a great visit. One thing that stood out the most was how much they communicated my out of pocket cost, this is very rare for offices these days. It was nice for me to know what to budget but also helped that they are reasonable in price. I highly recommend Eyeguys for your optical needs!!!

The eye exam was very professional. The staff do not seem to know how to adjust glasses and they have the same suggestion of "come back again". After 4 attempts to get my glasses adjusted comfortably, I decided to try elsewhere. I have not had to get my glasses adjusted since. The service at Eye Guys was very disappointing.

I've had two eye exams there over the past few years. Dr. Larry is very thorough and he offers sounds advice. He helped me get into the correct prescription and EyeGuys had a wide range of RX frames and sunglasses that I had to choose from. A ton of awesome styles and high-quality internationally known brands. I was afraid that I wouldn't find something that I'd like since moving up to the PNW from San Diego. Their inventory was great! Their opticians were super helpful and knew how to fit my wider face with the right pairs. Adjustments were quick and I even purchased some cleaning accessories to make my life easier. EyeGuys in Hayden is the best optical shop in the county and the buildout and retail atmosphere is modern and clean. It's one of the best-looking optical shops that I've been too! My whole family goes there. I'm glad to have found them!

Genuinely unimpressed! They told me they'd have my contacts in two days, it actually took four days and THEY NEVER BOTHERED TO CALL AND LET ME KNOW THEY HAD ARRIVED as they said they would?? Prices for frames are ridiculous. If your'e wealthy and have time to burn, shop here. If not, look elsewhere.

I can't say how good the eye guys are but the customer service person (first impression) could be improved on. Based on reviews, I went there with a prescription for progressive lenses from 2016 (haven't really needed them until now for my job). The script was for reading only, no vision correction. The desk clerk said they only honor prescriptions that are a year old or less and I would need to pay to have another exam. I told her that since my vision is perfect that there isn't a need for a new prescription/exam and "would you please call the doctor's office to ask if it can be validated for now"...so your office can say, make a quick $300 on me? She said in a tone, "well we don't really do that but if you are insisting." I took my script and said "no I wasn't insisting, I was merely asking but I will go to anothera office and see about more polite service." Sorry Eye Guys. Lost a great customer.
